So, I've had this problem since last 3 months. I'm using Firefox with auto-update turned on. Right now my version is 110.0.

Every now and then Firefox stops to load any websites and after closing it and opening it again it won't open correctly saying that my profile was created using newer version of Firefox and I need to create new one. At some point I was on default-release-9 until I asked about it on Reddit and got a reply guiding me to check compatibility.ini in my profile directory and fair enough, when this happens, compatibility.ini indicates Firefox version 119 so Firefox is right thinking that values don't match.

But the definitive question is how do I stop Firefox from messing around with that file? I'm honestly tired of manually editing it every time Firefox stops working. I know that website loading problems can stem from my excessive uptimes but this is an issue I can work around by restarting Firefox from time to time.

I'm having an annoying glitch since the recent Firefox update. Now, when I am looking at a webpage the tabs at the top of the screen disappear and the webpage automatically maximizes and, to see your tabs you have to hover at the top of the screen to see them again. I do NOT want that! I want to see my tabs at all times! How do I change the settings so that I can do that? I sincerely hope that this "improvement" can be deactivated!

Each time I open Firefox a black symbol appears in the upper right of the Firefox Icon. This began several days ago. What does the symbol mean? See attached image. Is there a way that I can remove this?

Is this the only way to send thunderbird an email??? If it is that's OK. I am a fairly new customer of Thunderbird. I have a new laptop and want to find out if Thunderbird has any questions forb me to answer. I think my password is OK, cause I signed in somehow. i have just downloaded Firefox and i go to open in and it flashes open an close immediately. the occurs every time that i open the program. i have reinstalled it multiple times to see if that's the issue, used the Microsoft store to download it, the website, i tried to get the beta that didn't help and i was just wondering what the issues was and wondering if you could. i looked in the error message folder as well and its empty.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0x0000000000000030, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff80274225392) CAUSE WAS FIREFOX.EXE

I have recently reinstalled windows and then installed Firefox. When I go to settings then click on an item Firefox freezes.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled (with revo uninstaller) but it still happens.

Would appreciate suggestions.

Hey, I am trying to synchronize my mobile tabs with my desktop app. Unfortunately, this is not working. I am using the latest version of Firefox and Windows 10. Any ideas how and if I can solve this problem? Thank you in advance.

A blank survey pops up in my homepage each time I open Firefox, I haven't filled it yet since I don't know what it entails and what it is about. There is no option to close it either, and it seems bugged as it isn't going away even after updating the version of Firefox, it is still present on 125.0.2 version. Kindly assist regarding the same. I have attached a picture of the same herewith.

What do I do to solve this - I get this when I 'try' to game in Facebok: "Sorry, your browser does not support this feature. Please use a different browser and try again."

I asked this same question yesterday and a little while later, the horizontal bookmarks toolbar "magically" appeared. Now the toolbar is gone again. How can I find it and get it to stay at the top of my page? (I'm an 80-year-old granny/computer-dummy.) Thanks in advance for any help.

previous version of firefox , open with option work perfectly. But latest update , it won't work anymore such as potplayer://url... i don't know why but this is working perfectly on other browsers such as chrome...
