For example, if one moves their mouse button close to the bottom edge of their browser window, holds down the left mouse button then drags the mouse further down to the edge of the browser window, it will begin to scroll downward. The same thing happens on the right edge of the window if there's a horizontal scroll bar for the page.

Does anyone know of a way to disable this? Is there something in about:config maybe? Thanks.

I don't know which question best describes my question. I have always used Firefox because it had two boxes for searching. This meant that you could type a search into the second box while keeping the first box open. Now that second url box is gone. How can I get it back? I used it all the time!

Previous to version 151.0.1, when I pressed ctrl-L, Firefox focused the URL bar and I was able to edit the URL. Now, on 151.0.1, pressing ctrl-L clears the URL and a dropdown for the search engine appears in the left of the URL bar (see attached screenshot). I have verified this on a new, blank profile. Is there a way to restore the old behavior?

Feedback on Firefox Widgets – Missing Indian Standard Time (IST)

I noticed that the World Clock widget includes Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) but does not provide an option for Indian Standard Time (IST). This is surprising given that India has one of the world's largest internet user bases and a significantly larger population than many countries currently represented.

India operates on a unique UTC+5:30 time zone used by over 1.4 billion people, making it one of the most widely used time zones globally. The absence of IST while neighboring time zones are available feels like a major oversight and reduces the usefulness of the widget for Indian users and anyone who regularly works with Indian colleagues, clients, friends, or family.

Please consider adding Indian Standard Time (IST) to the World Clock widget as a standard option. Its inclusion would greatly improve the widget's global coverage and usability.

I am looking to be able to INDEPENDENTLY close Firefox (Standard) windows separate from those running in a Private session.

ATM, it does not seem possible to close just one type of Firefox session without the other.

I see this possibly as a simple about:config switch which would allow one to close ALL Standard or Private windows with the respective system tray icon's "Close (All) Windows" OR the Menu's Exit selection. No other behaviors need change.

USE CASE: I frequently use both types of windows and will sometimes close Firefox Standard and unintentionally loose tabs I have not saved in Private.

Please return my Computer to using Firefox default as my browser as it was 2/01 /2026.Ive tried several times to do this w/o success . I was using windows 11 and have been trying to get rid of MS365 which I never used but have been charged for a solution , but have been blocked and refused cancellation after they asked me to change my email address and PW . Hi It isn't really a question, but it get to know and learn how to use Firefox efficiently before I converted from Safari to Firefox. I knew much more in Safari than in Firefox. Once I know more about Firefox, Firefox will be a default browser in my desktop,mac. Thanks Ted

There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what Firefox keeps in the address bar drop-down, sometimes websites I visited once for a specific reason will stay there for literal months, and websites I go to often don't show up at all, or vanish after a few days (during which I will be actively clicking on them, no less).

I know it's probably a bit weird, but I actually like keeping several specific websites in the drop-down menu, it makes it easy to navigate to them without cluttering my bookmarks (any more than they already are). How do I keep specific websites in the address bar's drop down?

(srry if wrong topic) basicly when i use the customize firefox tab it tells me about the overflow menu but when i try to add BUILT-IN tools like zoom control it just, not, and also the overflow icon apears gray'ed out,

На на сайте поддержки Mozzila не нашел, ни интернет не подсказал. Я понимаю, что это автозапуск Firefox при запуске Windows. Но что конкретно делает данный параметр?

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO JUST MAKE FOXFIRE MY BROWSER LIKE I HAVE HAD UNTIL SOMETHING WENT WRONG A FEW DAYS AGO AND I GOT UP AND COULD NOT GET IN TO MY MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. IT REFUSED TO ACCEPT MY PIN I HAVE USED FOR MANY MANY YEARS . I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. THANKS.

When I inadvertently press CTRL + R when entering text, it is VERY frustrating because the window refreshed and I loose all of what I typed! Is there some way to disable the CTRL + R combo so the window does not refresh?

I'm running Firefox under Ubuntu, Ubuntu is using Wayland which replaced X11.

Firefox's User Agent string still refers to X11, this does not cause me any problem but I'm curious.

I realise some websites might be expecting to see "X11" and could get upset if presented with "Wayland" instead but in various walks of life telling the truth is often the best policy.
