I can't get into my gmail My gmail icon disappeared from my icons screen a few days ago. I had to get into my email by going into Firefox. Now that isn't working either. I decided to make Firefox my browser, so I did that. Now what do I do? I still can't get into my gmail!!!!!!! Please help!!!!!! NOW

I get pages on my cell phone which also uses Firefox and saying my phone has been hacked and has "Google Security" on top. this is just one example. I am trying to see if Firefox has a screen for this.

On some forums - not this one - I am unable to complete the relevant text box to compose a reply. EG the Devon forum: https://discourse.devontechnologies.com/t/sync-between-mac-and-ipad-works-and-iphone-not-working/87390/7 No text appears and the text box is completely inoperative. The problem is not confined to that site, but I have experienced similar on other Forums.

I use Ublock Origin which I thought might be causing a problem but disabling it has no effect, neither does disabling Little Snitch. As a result I've concluded this is probably caused by something in my settings but I don't know which or where to look.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Mac Mini M2 Pro; MacOS 15.7.8. Firefox 153.0.1 (British English)

I live in Europe, where this stupid age verification law is in effect. I get around this by using a VPN. The problem is that I have two Firefox profiles set up with the same VPN and the same country. The issue occurs on X (formerly Twitter). On one profile, the VPN works as it should and I no longer need to verify my age, but on the other profile, the VPN has no effect and X (Twitter) asks me to verify my age. Yet the VPN is definitely enabled. I’ve cleared the cache and cookies, but nothing helps. It’s driving me crazy. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Firefox popped up an offer to change the screen to dark, which I did. I don't like it, want to change it back. I went to settings but was unable to make the change.

For some scrollables, v153 doesn't respect the Mac OS setting to hide scrollbars unless scrolling on page load. If that OS setting is adjusted after the page is loaded, then the page respects it again until refresh, so there's apparently some sort of race condition going on where it's not reading the setting in time before the page loads?

This is not a problem in v152. I downgraded back to v152 and it's working again.

Firefox recently seems to be crashing randomly when I disconnect from VPN. At least I think it's crashing. This has maybe started a few weeks ago?

What happens is that when I disconnect from my VPN (ProtonVPN), I will randomly not be able to load any pages. If I go to any website, it will just get stuck loading forever. No timeout. I'm able to visit the browsers own pages like settings, some about: pages like about:performance, about:memory, etc.

Why I'm not sure if it's crashing is because the browser itself is not closing, I have to manually close the browser window. Once I close the window manually and wait a while, the crash reporter pops up. If I close the window manually then re-open it, theres a text prompt that shows up telling me Firefox is still open and if I want to close it to re-open Firefox.

I don't think it's the VPN's issue as when I disconnect from my VPN, applications other than Firefox work and have internet connectivity (a separate browser like Chrome, or discord, etc)

What I have tried:

• new Firefox profile
• Using Firefox Nightly
• Various ProtonVPN settings (but I don't think its related to ProtonVPN)
• Various Firefox network settings
• Both Firefox and Firefox Nightly Open, when disconnecting VPN one would stop letting me reach sites but other wouldn't

I have the crash report details (from Firefox and Firefox Nightly) but unsure where best to upload or if it contains any sensitive data.

And I also see this for maybe why the browser itself doesn't "crash" MozCrashReason: Shutdown hanging at step AppShutdownNetTeardown. Something is blocking the main-thread.

If it's okay to share the crash reports then I can add them.

A "Cloud' swept over my computer and erased all of my data and fire-fox operating system and and operating system. I think all of data is still in my computer but, I can not retrieve it. My banking information was left intacked but all of the accounts were erased.

Удаление сертификатов, перезапуск браузера и компьютера не помогли. На других компьютерах ещё не проверял. Посоветуйте, пожалуйста, что можно сделать. Windows 10, Firefox 153.0.3 (64-разрядный).

When I open my website, pvamarkets.com, I see a Cloudflare page that says:

“Suspected Malware — This website has been reported for potentially distributing malware.”

This is a legitimate e-commerce website. After the warning appeared, we completed a full server-side security check. We checked the website files, database, cron jobs, access logs, error logs, and file-delivery system. We did not find malware, executable files, unauthorized code, or signs of a server compromise.

Our website only delivers plain text files to customers. It does not host or distribute Windows executable files.

I understand that the warning page is branded by Cloudflare, but I am posting here to confirm the following:

Is this warning generated or influenced by Firefox or Mozilla Safe Browsing? Can Firefox cache an old security warning after Cloudflare removes it? Is there any Firefox security report or blocklist entry for this domain? What steps should a website owner take to confirm that Firefox does not classify the domain as malicious?

The warning appears before visitors can access the website and causes serious trust and access problems.

I have attached a screenshot of the warning page.

Videos autoplay using iPad Pro M5 despite Auto-Play Video Previews, Auto-Play Animated Images and Auto-Play Message Effects all being turned OFF. Current Mozilla advice appears to be associated with PC use not iPad. Thank you!

Trying to import saved passwords from an OpenOffice file on Windows 11 but FireFox refuses saying there are incorrect or no column headers.

When I open the file myself there are column headers using UTF-8 ...... must they be in a sequence or something?! Specific headers?

FireFox Version 153.0.3 (64-bit)

I am running Firefox version 153.0.1 on a 64bit install of Windows 11.

A few days ago I had to factory reset my computer, including a clean Windows install. Since then, when attempting to access https://vodafone.cz/muj/prihlaseni, I get an Imperva Error 15 "Access Denied" error screen - screenshot attached here. Clicking the Imperva logo on the bottom of the error message leads to https://www.imperva.com/why-am-i-seeing-this-page/?src=23.

I was able to access the site in the past, most recently on July 8, 2026 - this would have been Firefox version 152.0.5.

This error persists in troubleshooting mode but not in private/anonymous (with or without extensions enabled), nor does it appear in Microsoft Edge or Firefox on Adroid.

Clearing cookies and cache did not help - in fact the error first showed up on a clean install of Firefox, when there weren't any cookies or cache stored yet. I've tried different DNS over HTTPS settings and listing the site as an exception in settings, but none of this made a difference. Enabling Firefox's built in VPN also made no difference, regardless of the selected location.

I found a recent post (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1588627) describing a similar issue on a different website and tried the suggestion listed there to try a fresh profile - this seemed to work, but within a couple of minutes of browsing the error message returned. I've even reinstalled Firefox entirely, but this too did not help for long.

Interestingly enough, the error message lists a proxy IP address (not blacked out on the screenshot) despite the fact that I am not using a proxy.

The website provider's tech support claims this is an issue on the user side, not theirs - they have not been able to replicate the issue.

Is there anything I'm missing that would explain why this is happening?

Every time I select Gmail on Firefox page, it requires me to sign in with a code. I have selected 'Strict' for browser privacy and 'Clear history after closing Firefox'... plus a number of other settings. I then get a notice of someone signing into my account each time, as does the person who I use as a backup to my account. I'd like not to go through that each time I access my Gmail account.

The whole this week I have been dealing that Firefox fixed my issues and next day all settings went back as Google and Firefox is blocked or not longer providing me my request because of Google. I want to substitute Google for Firefox...I need an stronger help
