a week ago i was able to watch shows on prime video India @ 1080p quality without any issue, i have set the max quality on prime & it used to show 1080 automatically. i have 100Mbps plan. But, now when i try to play the video does not go above HD(720p) it keeps showing HD the whole time. i looked everywhere DRM, html5 and every other possible issue but it didn't solve the problem. i have tried reinstalling FIREFOX, going into the about:config menu, tried Enabling/Disabling ad-ons

When I connect to a YouTube video all I get is a spinning circle. I can download the video if I connect to the internet via Internet Explorer. This make me think the problem isn't with my computer. any recommendations how to fix this?

PS. I'm not an knowledgeable computer user so try to keep it simple.

Is it possible to set placeholders for the Top Sites that I can define the links myself rather than pulling them from the most visited sites I've visited?

I want to hold 8 Top Links on my New Tab page but I want them to be initially blank in other words they don't go anywhere I till I click edit button.

Is this possible? Is there a way of separating the most visited sites from Top Sites buttons? Is there a way to blank all of the Top Site buttons without clearing my entire browser history?

In firefox, when I have to download many files at a time, I have to click one download link, wait for the modal dialog to appear, finish it and then click the next downloda link. This is very inconvenient cause I have to wait the modal dialog. In Microsoft Edge, things are different, when I click a download link, it just shows a non-modal dialog in the bottom, which I do not need to handle immediately. In this way, I can first click all the download links and then deal with all the download dialogs.(The following figure shows the behavior of microsoft edge when downloading) I prefer the behavior of Microsoft Edge, is there any way to achieve it in firefox?

Everytime I restart Firefox, all my setting are lost and I must re-login. So I login, have to re-sync, click on view to add back my toolbar for bookmarks, and access preferences to reset download files destinations. I would like to restart Firefox and retain all these setting.

I cannot copy or download any screenshots I take. I download, computer shows "failed" every time. I copy into a new notepad on my computer using the copy link & then Control + V, it does nothing. I do get a message that the screenshot I take has been copied to the clipboard. What could be the problem?

Today my BT Yahoo webmail login fails to authenticate my credentials with the message "Please check you entered your username and password correctly and try again." It worked fine yesterday. I tried it on Edge and Chrome and it works fine on both. What has changed since yesterday?

Hi guys, I suddenly can't access email on Firefox this morning when it still works fine on Edge. email provider said they'd had same problem with some other Firefox users this morning. Any ideas please? Problem persists across several PCs and is still there after 4h. Thanks, Rob.

I apologize if this is stupid question but this is my first use of the support forum.

I posted a question yesterday about the interaction with HTML forms and had a dialogue with help.

How do I find that dialogue today? I mainly want to post the problem has gone away as mysteriously as it appeared. It lasted for 2 days, and was isolated to something in an extension or such as things worked correctly in safe mode.

Is there a way to run multiple instances of Firefox at startup? I have it set to run at startup...it opens and loads all my tabs, just like I want. However, I would also like it to open another window as well. Is this even possible?

my Firefox doesn't react on entries in the URL bar and also not on the menu items in the sandwich menu. I have already reinstalled it + deleted folder + deleted profile. But even after reinstalling it I have the same problem. Are there registry entries that could cause this?
