When I open Firefox I get a message telling me "Failed to read configuration file. Please contact system administrator". When I click OK Firefox opens normally and seems to be fine. Not sure what is going on here. Any ideas why this is happening and how to get rid of it?

Windows 10 64-bit Firefox 115.3.1 64-bit

I will open a few tabs, then close some then open more , then everything slows down, I go to task manager and see that many tasks are still open under Firefox

I want tabs to close ( end process) when I close them

So now I manually 'end process' and the machine resumes speed

How do I get firefox to End Process when tabs are closed

this is w 8.1, don't know what version of firefox, pretty recent

this is firefox mozilla, as best I understand, not that I know why these two are always paired
