How can I restore a previous theme? I had a "colorfore" theme that Mozilla offered a few years ago set up in Firefox. It was perfect! I could see everything clearly with my aging eyesight.Then one of my synced computers needed a new Linux OS installation so I signed out of sync on that machine. Installed the new OS. When I started Firefox the first time I signed into sync. I got my history, bookmarks and bookmark bar, but no custom colors. Now my computer at work has its colors reset to the out of box colors too. I have lost the colorfore colors I have been using for several years now. How can I get the colorfore colors back? Right after a Firefox update on or about 3-8-24, when I click on the network icon on the Windows 11 system tray, the network icon in the Quick Access area is no longer there. But when you click on the network icon you see some soft of video player controls if you have a video open in Firefox, and the network icon is gone! I need to have the network icon restored. And BTW, when clicking the pencil icon to add something to the quick access, there is NO network icon to be added! Its not there, in fact, the "add" is greyed out, and the option for adding "network" no longer exists. I don't really like the video player controls that show up like in the photo, and would like to be able to make that go away.

I have enclosed a screenshot showing what happens when I want to go to a new tab on the two computers I use most often. One is my desktop which has Windows 10 Home. The other is my laptop which has Windows 10 Pro. The Windows 10 Home was installed most recently and is the latest version of Windows 10, my tech guy told me; and also the latest version of Firefox 123.0.1. The laptop version of Windows 10 is older. The Firefox version is also 123.0.1.

My hope is that there is a setting I have not uncovered that lets me put some kind of mark on a new tab, as my laptop has had for a few years. This makes it very easy to open. The newer, later Windows version but same Firefox 123.0.1 on the desktop must be right-clicked in the space to the right of any open site, and then the user must scroll down to the "New Tab" line and click on it. Obviously this requires my user clicks and more time, simply to get a new tab that gives me a blank site that I prefer.

I appreciate whatever guidance or suggestions anyone can give.

Yesterday, I ran a format on my computer with Firefox in installed on it. When I tried to recover my settings, history and bookmarks later using sync after logging in to my account nothing happened. Can you please help me recover my data? Thanks in advance.

Hi folks, So my university uses gmail and accesses with Duo Mobile. I usually use Firefox on a Win11 PC, no problem. This morning for some reason firefox will not let me even begin the login process. Chrome works fine. I have disabled four extensions (DuckDuckGoprivacy, Unpaywall, YoutubeNonstop, Boomerang) and restarted, no change.

Hi, I just downloaded a Firefox browser, but on the left of bookmarks toolbar there is an "Import bookmarks" that I can't get rid of. I've seen a couple other things that say it's like removing a bookmark, but that doesn't work for me. I've looked and can't find how to remove it. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I try to synchronize my firefox on my new laptop but it gives 5 minutes to enter the code, the code arrives afer more than 15 minutes.. The help syggests if it not works to use another mail address but I cannot delete the mail adress, every time I want to synchronize the existing mailadress appears with a password field and the adress cannot be changed. Can someone help me to solve this, is there an other way to synchronize?

I want to uninstall and maybe re-install some add-ons. But when I goto the add-on page. It just appears blank. So are some other pages in the support/ help sections. Another most notably, is (via menu) help -> more troubleshooting information. It just sends me to a blank page! See the uploaded images for the pages I get send to.

hello! hope you are doing well, I recently got this problem where the bookmark bar does not appear on my browser even though it is on the "always show" option, it appears when I first open the browser, but once I enter any site, it disappears again, even on new tabs, and when I try different options for the BM, it makes it appear for one use only. I tried looking for solutions on the internet but to no avail. can you help me fix it? thank you in advance!

I have a current version of Firefox (v123.0 running on Windows 10) but I can't do what I used to be able to do? (And it is making me nuts!)

I used to be able to resize the contents of a site - such as youtube or wordpress or tumblr - there would be a little % on the far right of the URL bar, and I could adjust that until the site was readable and all the pieces I wanted fit in. I can't find a control that will change this for me in the new version. Is it somewhere else? Did that control not port into the new version? Is is gone for good? (I really hope not!) I realize this is such a small problem, but it affects how I interact with basically every site online.

What makes this extra frustrating is that I'm not even certain I am using the correct terms for the thing I want -

Firefox just updated. Now my Bookmarks Toolbar Menu is decimated and replaced by "Most Visited". How do I get back all the bookmarks I have saved over many years. I want them even though I don't visit them often.

When typing if I make a mistake I'll usually just delete the entire word and retype it rather than fix the spelling but to do that I need to use CTRL. Now when I press CTRL it zooms in the page even though there are no other buttons being pressed.

I used to click on a bookmark to open a new window and load the link, but now it's loaded directly into the original window, how do I revert back to the previous state?

I'm using Firefox password manager, which syncs passwords on 4 PCs and 1 Android phone that I use. Getting ready to set up Primary Passwords. Once it is set on one PC, what happens when I go to use one of the other ones, where PP is not set yet? Don't need lock outs or other hassles that I see many users struggle with. Thanks!

When I type a letter in the URL space, there is a drop down selection of previous sites I have used. Some contain names of people I have searched and I don't want any embarrassment if said persons happen to use my PC. Is it possible to delete the list, or, perhaps better, delete the ones with names?

I'm using Windows 10 with FF x64.

I wanted to move the Firefox's automatically created bookmark folder "Other Bookmarks" into another folder (called To Sort folder). The folder was moved to the new location but it also remained in the "root" bookmarks folder. I tried to get it to be the other way round so that the "to-Sort" folder will be in the Bookmarks folder but- Trying to move it back it created a loop. Now when I go into the Other Bookmarks folder I can see the "To Sort" and it has a folder in it called "Other Bookmarks", which has the repeated same links and again the "To Sort" which has the "Other Bookmarks" which has the "To Sort" --> etc. ad infinitum
