Title.

I got a folder on my desktop called Old FireFox Data and I swapped it over my current profile and it nothing?

I just lost years and years of search history and bookmarks for no reason

I am close to tears

please help

i have no idea what to do

How do I add an existing 2nd email account to the Firefox Bookmarks. It keeps reverting to the my family account when I try to add a link to open an existing second email address

Got a new computer. Exported and imported bookmarks. However, that did not copy over my bookmark bar. Is there a way to get it to copy or do I have to recreate it?

i WAS BROWSING AND GOING THROUGH SOME OF MY FIREFOX FAVORITES AND I highlighted a FEW (NOT JUST ONE!) and clicked the delete button on accident. Is there any way of getting them back? I havent backed up a copy of them recently eitherr. Now Im all bumbed out!! :-(

When syncing between two different firefox instances not on the same OS or computer which of them is the syncing from and to?

If I have one instance where I have Firefox on a different computer and another on a completely different computer which of them does Firefox know it's the latest one to sync from?

My computer was wiped without a backup and my browser was thus deleted along with my logins and bookmark folders. I am now unable to log back in to that specific account and retrieve my bookmarks. I'd really appreciate help with this.

As of a few days ago whenever I start Firefox the window appears with the Bookmarks sidebar panel already opened. I click the "X" on the sidebar and it will close - until the next time I start Firefox. If I choose Menu->View->Sidebar->Bookmarks and uncheck it the panel will close - until the next time I start Firefox. No matter how the Bookmarks sidebar is closed, it will always reappear when Firefox is restarted. Even if I switch to some other sidebar, Bookmarks will replace it on startup.

I've searched about:config and found no setting which seems to control sidebar behavior on startup.

I assume this is the result of some recent update. Is there no longer a way to permanently disable the Bookmarks sidebar?

Hello, Since the last update Firefox 128.0.3, I can't add bookmarklet. There is one bookmarklet I regularly use on my main profile, wanted to add it to another profile, but it's not adding there. If I try to drag & add, it shows the new bookmark add dialogue, but nothing is getting added. If I try manual add bookmark from bookmark manager, still nothing happens. The bookmarklet is working fine in the main profile btw.. but can't add it to another. I'm having a problem and need your help. Every time I try to go to Gmail (gmail.com) or Google Earth (earth.google.com), I get redirected to this site called grandid.com which is the website my school uses to log in to school accounts. This is my home cumputer so i am not intrestend in that and would like to completly block grandid.com from ever redirecting me. It's blocking me from logging into my accounts and using these services.

I've cleared my cache and cookies and even tried blocking grandid.com with extensions, but nothing is working. This is really frustrating and messing up my ability to check my emails and use Google Earth.

Can you please help me fix this?

It's not clear to me from the general help instructions how to get my passwords and bookmarks from my old computer to my new one. All the files from my old computer were transferred into one big folder and placed on the Desktop of my new computer. I don't know how to find the right file in the backup and where I need to copy it to on my new computer. I know a while ago I had to recover my passwords, but I forget the steps I went through and it was all on the same computer so slightly different situation although as I recall it was not all that difficult. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have created a number of folders for bookmarks and clicking on the folder used to produce a long list for each. Now, possibly since the latest update, the list is abbreviated and doesn't show bookmarks that, if I open in a tab and click "edit", are shown as being in the folder. The only forum article I have seen on the topic seems far too complicated for me to understand.
