Dear Firefox Support Team, I am reaching out for assistance with recovering my bookmarks, which are very important to me. Recently, my laptop broke down, so I created a backup of my files and system. After purchasing a new laptop, I installed Firefox and attempted to restore my data, particularly my bookmarks and passwords. Unfortunately, during the process, I had to reset my Firefox account password because I had forgotten the original one. At the time, I did not fully realize that this would result in the loss of my synced data. I later learned that this action may have removed access to my previous settings. I checked my backup files, including the Application Support folder, but I was unable to find the necessary data to restore my bookmarks. I am certain that synchronization was enabled on my previous device, but after logging into my account on the new laptop, none of my bookmarks were restored. This situation is quite urgent for me, and I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. Is there any possibility that my bookmarks could still be recovered? Hi. I used braindead the backup function in the bookmark tab (see picture) After that all my bookmarks are gone. I thought its not a problem since im always sinced with firefox, but guess firefox already sinced my empty bookmarklist or i just dont know how to get the old one. I made a fresh windows install a few hours ago, so i guess i dont have a local backup on my pc. Kinda funny that Firefox does a backup right after a new install, but not when importing a bookmarklist.

Is there a way to get an old backup out of my mozilla account, or are 10+ years of saving bookmarks just gone?

Hello support service I bought another computer, I logged into my account and I lost all the data, usernames and passwords that I had stored in my account. What should I do now? Hey I changed my password before reinstalling the Windows but when I reinstall Firefox and logged in, all of my information was gone since Firefox doesn't back up after password change so I uninstalled Firefox since then because it was useless to me. I was looking through my files and I find that I still have the previous recovery code before changing password, can it be used to recover my passwords and bookmarks?!

I believe I need to change the password in the Firefox setting to upload from Comcast. Help me please. If you have the ability to open a chat line it would be helpfull. There is no warning from Comcast e-mail so I have to periodically open it to see if I have any new e-mail.

I was working on my AOL left room about 15 minutes came back and from 4:30pm to 7:50pm my emails were missing. I had a load of sites on my browser and went into task manager it showed firefox (20) 1200MB of memory can you help me please?

My pc just did the latest update, the one with the new Logo. It wiped out all my bookmarks and passwords. I can reset the passwords, but I have hundreds of hours of research which was all bookmarked. I have changed laptops four times and each time I did, I would just sign into my Mozilla account and it was all downloaded into my new one.

Did anyone else experience this and were you successful in retrieving this data? Do you have any tips? This was important information on a health condition and I don't know if I can find all of this again.

I'm not sure I have the right topic as I didn't see what I will try to say. The problem is when I send an email (googlemail), I cannot insert a photo/picture in the email. The only thing I can do is attach which I do but want it inserted too. This only started happening about 2 weeks ago. It is now to the point where I have to use another browser to get it to work as it should. Any ideas why?

I recently logged back in to my Firefox account that I hadn't logged into in about 3 to 4 months and all my passwords and links in the sync part are completely gone that took me years to setup. Is there any way of recovering them? Where did they do? I am positive I did not delete the account sync information. I would greatly appreciate any help in this matter.

I have a rather strange problem and I'm not sure this is the right topic. I generally use my computer on and off all day and I never lock it until the evening when I turn it off. I went out for several hours today and when I came back there was a new version of Firefox installed. When I opened Firefox I realized it was a new version because it would not let me logon until I had completed a profile. My old version never did this. In addition all of my saved passwords had disappeared as well as my bookmarks. I'm using a Dell laptop running Win 11, about 2 years old. I don't understand how this could happen. There was no one here while I was out. I looked to see if there was a saved profile but only the one in use showed up. The current version appears to be 145.0.1. One thing that might have something to do with it. I might have been asked yesterday if I wanted to synch firefox on my computers but I'm not sure how I answered this (I'm almost 90 and my memory is a bit imperfect).

I do have Firefox on a second desktop which is running Win 10. Is it possible to use that profile. That computer has not been turned on since this happebd and is currently asleep. Any help or suggestions will really be appreciated!
