My local newspaper has gone only digital, which I actually like. But, there is an option on the bottom of the reader that is available when using Edge and is not available when I use Firefox. A mouseOver on Edge displays "Print or clip". Yes, it's a snipping tool and/or print option. But it really right-sizes the snipped area perfectly for printing crossword puzzles. The Windows snipping tool (Windows 11) makes it too small so I need to go to Edge for only this one task. My first preference would be to get the function on the Firefox screen, and my second choice would be to figure out how to use the Windows snipping tool to print without leaving Firefox. I tried to print directly from a website, but it will not print. If I print an image or PDF, it will print just fine. I am currently using Firefox 135.0.1 on a macOS Sequoia 15.3.

Anyway, Im Trying To Print An Email Message To a PDF File But Instead I Get An Error Message That Says :

Could Not Open The File Access Is Denied!

Is There A Way To Fix This? If So How Do i Fix This?

I am tired of this bullshit.

So i was using the beta branch of the firefox and beta version stopped working with a site for some time. so i tried to come back to the stable version.

After i do that and fix my config. In every couple of hours there would be a notification window pop up with sound saying this

"firefox this profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create a new profile"

So i did create a new profile BUT i copy pasted my own configuration.UI stuff from my old settings from "About:config"

This notification STILL comes up FFS what do i need to do then?

HOW COME MY UI CONFIGURATION TRIGGERS THE DAMN NOTIFICATION?

I will not re-do my fckng UI configuration by hand.

I would like to find a way to detect when the print dialog is closed in Firefox (whether the user clicks "Print" or "Cancel"). My goal is to automatically close the opened tab once the print dialog is dismissed.

}, 100); However, I haven't found a reliable way to detect when the print dialog is closed so that I can close the tab accordingly.

In Chrome, I was able to achieve this by monitoring focus events and checking document.activeElement. This allowed me to determine when the print dialog was closed and automatically close the tab afterward. However, this approach does not seem to work in Firefox.

Is there a way to track when the print dialog is dismissed in Firefox?

hej, you write oh dear, no print is possible :-((( but you write to me, that I have win10... but it is a new machine with win 11...and firefox does not work, i cant se my mails?!?!!?

A month ago I downloaded Linux Ubuntu 24.04.3 onto my Microsoft Surface Pro. Was never able to get the touch screen to work, but, the printer worked fine. After the recent Firefox update, however, I am unable to print. The preview page does not load. Not tech savvy, here, definitely not an administrator. How do I fix this? Thanks for any help.

Ever since the latest Firefox upgrade to version 135.0, my Epson 3760 printer pauses between each page when more than one page is requested to print continuously. This pause before each page didn't happen before the upgrade. I now have to go into my printer queue and select each item in the queue to have it resume printing - one at a time. I'm on Windows 11 with an LG laptop.

Due to the lack of a suitable topic related to “print” options, I can only choose the topic related to persistence, "Download and Save."

The first image is part of the original webpage, where one of the buttons is selected.

However, in the print view (the second image), the selected state disappears.

I have switched across multiple devices, various versions of Firefox, and several different printers (MS Print to PDF or physical printers), and this phenomenon consistently occurs.

Firefox is my daily browser, but in order to print similar financial approval forms, I have to switch to Edge or Chrome to complete the task.

I hope Mozilla's excellent engineers can locate and fix this issue.

When I print an email to PDF the default folder destination is stuck on this one non existent folder. I can change the destination, but the next time I do this the default has reverted. I save a lot of emails this way & this new development is not only costing me time but is aggravating as can be. Before this situation developed the defalt destination would be the last folder I saved to. That is what I want to get back to. Anyone have a suggestion?

I was attempting to print a document I created through a 3rd party site, but on the Firefox browser. Unfortunately, when I attempt to print, the document includes the website I'm using, along with other information that is not related to the document. How can I prevent Firefox from including that text when I print? I was unable to locate the correct setting. Thank you.

i use Firefox on an iMac running Sequoia 15.5 I can print everything except when I go to a Merrill Account and try to print . How can I prints without having to go to Safari?
