Soprry, was ist hier los ? schon tausendmal instaliert und nun weil ich als zweite Tastatur englisch habe, krige ich hier alles in Englisch! In Win 11 24H2 steht in der Tastleiste deutsch. wo stelle ich die Spache um.

How do I stop these offers of translations ? Every single page one visits , these damned offers are covering the page and have to be clicked away. It's worse than advertisements ....

I usually want spellchecks "English (United kingdom, large)" and "German (Germany)" active. Every few days to weeks it changes to a (single) random other language instead, like "German (Luxembourg)". Posts I've found elsewhere suggest changing display language (which should be unrelated and is already set to UK English), uninstalling all other dictionaries system-wide (which should not be necessary and is not acceptable), reinstalling Firefox entirely (but that's for cases where the correct dictionary was never selectable, I can select it, it just doesn't stay for long) or issues with syncing with other devices (but I don't change that setting on other devices, either). How do I stop spellcheck from changing and why does this even happen?

arabic language is not available to select for installation , it is the tongue of more than 400 millions and of 6 official languages in UN ,while some languages are there to small countries like lithuania and latvia

Hi, The translation feature is a great and much-needed addition. It was one of the main reasons I kept using Chrome, so having it in Firefox—on both desktop and Android—is fantastic. Thank you!

I’ve noticed that to access the translation option, you have to right-click the selected text using a mouse or touchpad. The keyboard’s right-click key, however, doesn’t open the context menu for the selected text, so the translation option isn’t available. This makes it inconvenient for keyboard-focused users.

It would also be very helpful to have built-in pronunciation for selected text. I tried several add-ons that offer this, but none worked reliably. This feature would complement translation nicely.

Finally, it might improve usability to show a small popup button beside selected text to trigger translation—similar to what some translation extensions already do. While I personally prefer keyboard shortcuts, this could enhance accessibility for others.

After 146 self installed, all the pages that used to auto translate that I had set up in earlier versions of FF, no longer auto translate. I have to manually go and select the languages every time - because FF will forget the settings after I close it down.

I hope you can get fix it eventually.

Hello, after chrome block uBlock i try to migrate to firefox browser. I often use devtools on my work, devtools use my browser default(choosen) language in this tab. Can i switch language on english only in dev tools tab?

Starting yesterday, browsing to the ebay.com url resulted in Korean language text being displayed per the attached screenshot. The same continues today. I tried the ebay options of changing language by choosing a national flag. Choosing the US Stars and Stripes made no difference; I still got Korean text. I tried disabling my VPN; it made no difference. I tried choosing the Canadian Maple Leaf flag and got English text but Canadian prices.

I tried to report the problem (in Firefox) using ebay's contact links; but those links require logging in. I could not because I could not pass the Capcha challenge while remaining in Firefox.

Thinking that the problem might lie with Firefox, I loaded and used the Brave browser. Not only did I get US English and prices straightaway, I was able to login with ebay and report the problem. My VPN is active and has been since I loaded Brave.

Because I have these problems only while using Firefox, I came here to report the problem and ask for assistance resolving it.

I changed my language from Arabic and back, and now I see a little line attached to my cursor within all web pages that I visit, that I believe was added as a result of my language change to Arabic and then back. I have attached screenshots of what a normal cursor looks like vs what my cursor in firefox looks like now. I have not had this happen before today when I have switched between languages in the past. It looks normal within the Firefox address bar, but not within text boxes within web pages.

My current language settings are set to US English, but I keep the others as alternates to switch back and forth between.

Hallo, ich habe nun schon mehrfach versucht meine Sprache im Settings umzustellen. Habe mich genau an die Anleitung gehalten. Aber ich bekomme einfach nicht die Sprache umgestellt. Ich will es auf Deutsch umstellen aber es bleibt alles beim englisch. Ich habe Cache schon gelöscht, habe meinen VPN ausgeschaltet und mehrfach den PC hochgefahren. Was läuft da bei mir falsch. Da ich kein englisch kann ist es etwas schwierig hier alles dann zu verstehen. Ich benutze Linux Ubuntu. Danke für die Hilfe.

Hi I’ve been searching online relentlessly for a solution to a problem I’m encountering with Firefox. The font it uses for Persian language is extremely difficult to read. Consequently, I’ve switched to Safari, which offers a significantly better font for Persian.

Firefox also encounters an issue with hashtags on Twitter. The hashtagged words appear in the same font as Safari, while the rest of the tweet is displayed in the default Firefox font.

I’d really appreciate it if you could help me fix this. I’d also like to know which font Safari uses for Persian language.

When the translator starts translating from English to French, it displays Indonesian, but I haven't installed anything in Indonesian, and I don't read Indonesian, so where is it coming from?

the recent update did bring with it a rather annoying feature When I look at a foreign language website a pop-up appears that wants to translate I do not need nor want that feature I have tried to program it to dorm - but I did not find any programming that seems to do it Can You please help
