Starting with Firefox 147.0, new tabs appear at current tab position when clicking on URL. How can I revert back to new tabs appearing at end tab position when clicking on URL?

I'm running Firefox 147.0.2 on a 2020 MacBook M1, with Tahoe 26.2, and appear to have 2 versions of 'identical' Firefox on my machine. Applications shows only 1, but there are 2 distinceticons on my Tool Bar. I'd like to delete one of them, but can't do it successfully. Any help appreciated!

I'm afraid the community may be tired of me, but it seems this is the only help Firefox is willing to provide for my problems. First, I still can't get the History and Bookmarks to show, although for a while they did. On top of that, a new issue has developed. Firefox exe now shows on my desktop as well as where I actually want it, in the taskbar. When I try to move it from the desktop, the app is deleted from both areas. When I go back to my apps folder, where I choose to keep exe files, and create another shortcut to go in my taskbar, it gets put back on my desktop and the cycle repeats. With all that nonsense going on for a month or more (I've really lost track of the days and hours I've spent on it), my question is should I just uninstall Firefox, reinstall it and then try to get my History and Bookmarks back. Or what would be a better solution? Whoever helps me with this mess has my sincere gratitude. I've used Firefox as my browser for many years without ever having any trouble and am baffled by what's going on now.

I recently upgraded from Windows 10 to 11. Sometime after that I realized that when I go to Firefox Passwords, I am unable to Edit or See the passwords.

I can Delete the password entry in it's entirety. I can Copy the Username.

I cannot Edit the entry. I cannot Copy the Password. I cannot See the Password. I cannot Export Passwords. When I click on those options, nothing happens.

Suggestions?

The 29. january I got no sound when streeming video from Firefox. I checked the situation with VLC, another media player, which had no problems with the sound. I opened Windows "sound control settings" and chose to send the sound to the monitor (HDMI). Then I got sound from Firefox. When I sent the sound back to the original device, which is an USB Audio DAC, because I use an external amplifier, and my PC doesn't have the SP/DIF output. Again there were no sound from Firefox, but sound from VLC. In addition I started Microsoft Edge, and got sound! Which means that the problem is only with Firefox.

Then I checked the time for the last Firefox update. It was january 28, the day before (or it could have been the same day), and the new version was: 147.0.2. That made me beleive that the cause of the problem was the software update. What else could have caused this problem ?

I do not know how to fix this problem. I need help, otherwise I have to quit using Firefox, which I have been using for a decade without any problems. I am using Windows 11.

I use Firefox (the current version) on a Dell Windows 11 Pro laptop. I have around 8800 bookmarks, and I've lost around half the tags on my bookmarks. (The bookmarks themselves are OK; I'm losing about half of the tabs.,) This has happened to me twice recently, and I'm restoring the bookmarks as I write these words.(after I'm finished, I'll save two copies of the HTML file for backups. Can anybody tell me why this is happpening, aaand How I can prevent it in the future?

Can one change the colour of one firefox window to distinguish it from another firefox window? That would allow two people working on the same computer to use individual firefox windows and be able to quickly tell whether they are in the right window.

this feature absolutely DOES NOT WORK on ANY Firefox desktop browser on MULTIPLE machines I have tried - and actually I'm pretty sure I can say the same thing about the ANDROID app too?

I can confirm EVERY SITE I have trouble signing in using Passkey on Firefox I can SUCCESSFULLY sign into on Chrome - every single time - the issue is clearly the BROWSER

worse still, it often COMPLETELY CRASHES Firefox and I have to forcibly KILL the process and restart Firefox, after even ATTEMPTING to use this feature

I want shortcuts, but not the ones I visit, just the ones I save. Is there a way to make it just the ones I save, or I have to have both. If I must have both, please make it so that its separate.
