Hi there just switched to firefox due to some unfixable bugs in Edge, but i'm missing a key feature: in edge i had the following add-on : Volume master, which turns the volume up to 600%, however it has a quite handy bug: whenever you change the volume with add-on and then try to full-screen the player, instead going full-screen, it becomes full width theater mode player. is there any such add-on for firefox?

When i try to fullscreen youtube, there is a transparent border on the left and top of the window that will not go away normally. The only temporary fix I found was pressing win+d twice to get rid of it. This seems to be a reoccurring issue as this only happens on firefox and nothing else. Please let me know how to fix this permanently. I have also tried firefox safe mode and that curiously didnt have borders but even when i went out of safe mode and disabled all my extensions and cleared my cache, it didnt work.

when printing a PDF in two side mode, the text is moved to one side, I assume to allow for binding the pages. However this function does not work correctly as some pages have the text moved to the incorrect side. I had to use MS Edge to do the job which is something I do not like to do.

When i right click on something in my browser the menu shows up but none of the options have text. For example i can still open a link in a new tab but there's no text for the option i just have to know witch is witch. This is exclusively an issue with the browser, right clicking on my desktop or on another application produces all the expected menu option with no error.

Just a week or so ago I could no longer login to Vanguard using firefox unless private version was used. THis happens on any product where firefox is default browser-Windows, Android and MAC all give a login/password error and nothing shown in the previous fixes work. Cache, troubleshoot mode, extensions and the other stuff have no effect on access. I can use Chrome and edge (both of which I hate) with no problem.

I did not have an account, (i made it js now to ask the question) but every time i opened firefox everything was saved, my search history, pinned pages, PASSWORDS, (which are all gone and its the worst thing in this situation) accounts on multiple websites, and this type things, EVEN when there were some updates to the app. And the latest profile update, yes i was scared for a second that itll all be gone when i made the new profile but i saw theres another profile with all my things saved. But now, i open the app, and its like i just installed firefox. There are some business tings to set up, they asked me if i want to create a new account, some things i just skipped, then i look and its a whole fresh app. No passwords, no extensions i had, no theme i set up, no saved search history, NOTHING. Now is this normal, and my fault because i didnt have an account? Because im pretty sure that shouldnt happen and i really need all those things. But if its my fault then i get it, although im still a bit upset but if theres any way to recover, or prevent this from happening next time, please let me know.

I cleared my history, and lost my autofill for my yahoo email account. I can't get it back from them. Is there a way for me to find it in my firefox history? Thanks

I'm not a PC expert. "Search Bookmarks" does not list all my previous bookmarks. In layman's terms, how do I recover them for daily use? The few that are listed were previously rarely used. Thank you for your help.

Hello! I am running firefox and had an issue with the URL bar. Before, the URL bar was at the top and right underneath it would appear the open tabs; underneath that were my bookmarks. I don't know what I pressed, but now, the tabs and bookmarks are on top (on the same line), and the URL bar is underneath that -- see screenshot for details. It is a small issue, but it is driving me crazy, since all my mucle memory on where to click etc. is gone. Furthermore, the bookmarks now crowd the open tabs, so if I have a lot of open tabs, I cannot see them all at a glance.

I tried looking for settings, but all settings for customizing the toolbar are about adding items to the URL bar, not switching the position of URL bar and the open tabs. How do I fix this?

After the Windows has just updated, the "Bookmarks" ribbon on top of the screen is unavailable. What can I do to get it back. The directions have just confused me further.

Firefox just did an update about 9 AM on 11/12/2025. I use dictation software to navigate the webpages due to disabilities with my hands. The software can no longer recognize any of the tabs at the top of the screen, nor any of the buttons on webpages. This makes it almost impossible for me to navigate on the web. Something must have gone wrong/been overlooked in your coding with this update. Can this please be fixed?

Hi, my location is Venezuela, and seems that I'm being blocked somewhere... I just want to confirm whether this is something on Mozilla's end (considering that their headquarters are in the US), or something on my government's end (since the ISP often blocks websites on orders from the state).

I can't sync my account or log in because of this, and generally, wherever the block comes from, they rarely give any warning. The main page loads normally; it's only the subdomains that are blocked, as far as I can see. For the record, this happens in Firefox for Desktop, and for Android too, wherever I'm on my home, using mobile data or using my office WiFi. This is not a browser error, in the capture u can see that the domains are solved correctly (even using the ISP's DNS), but u can't ping on the IP unless u turn on the VPN.

All Google services work fine for me, and I can't use a VPN all the time, so I'll have to switch to some chromium browser if this goes on too long (even if I don't want to).

I do not like the blue background behind My sidebar bookmarks . Is there a way to disable/remove the blue background when using bookmarks sidebar? I am not familiar of how to use syntax editing (I guess its called that), I just need layman terms if possible.

Mozilla recently did some updates to Firefox.

I have just started my computer and went to Firefox and then to bookmarks, but they all have gone.

Anybody have a similar situation and how did you resolve the problem so as to restore all of your bookmarks.

Shadowplay is essentially constantly recording my screen and is automatically turned off when DRM content, in my case Netflix is opened through Firefox. Closing Netflix, however still doesn't let me turn it on and will only work if I have closed and reopened Firefox.

Not sure I picked the right subject. Bookmarks is what I want to talk about. My bookmark files are all gone!! Am I going to get them back or what? What can I do to get them back? I really need them!

All of the settings I had setup for my "new tab" page have disappeared, having been reset to some default Firefox page. How can I recover these shortcuts without having to recreate everything from scratch? Even my background has been updated without my consent.
