My Firefox Browser was just upgraded. It seems address bar searches all go through Yahoo.com. Is this by design? Not sure I like the search results...

Firefox sometimes continuously adds tabs for the same site I am using. Every time I X out of one, another one pops up. This multiplies alarmingly fast. I have Windows 10.

I am running the latest updates to Windows 10 Pro x64. One of my monthly bills is paid at

1) https://e.synchronyfinancial.com/

which, in Brave, redirects to

2) https://lowes.syf.com/accounts/login

Inputting either link in Brave gets me to the finish line but the first link above fails in Firefox with the "Secure Connection Failed" message and dumps me at https://www.synchrony.com/accounts/. The second link does the same.

Is there any way to troubleshoot the problem?

I HAVE tried shutting-down Malwarebytes but the result was the same.

This is the only site on which I have encountered this issue. All that I can determine at the moment is that that certificate is from DigiCert and the expiration date is in 2025, i.e., this is not a Symantec cert.

I don't use Google Chrome browser nor do I use MS Edge. After using the Mosaic browser, I switched to Netscape Navigator, then to Mozilla, and, finally to Firefox. I am not looking forward to migrating to another browser. ;-)

Hi. I can't access my add-ons that I installed. When I click on the extensions icon it doesn't open that little menu like it does for other people, but it takes me to 'about:addons' in a new tab. I also want to pin my addons to my toolbar which is also not working. Please help me out

Others asked and were pointed to extensions. As long as extensions get access to my pages, I'm not willing to use any. So, is there an option in advanced settings, to return to previously viewed tab when I close a tab? Thanks, Cat

Firefox slows down when I use web developer tools, I use this whenever I try to save an image on Instagram or other sites that I go to just to save an image or look for the video using the web tools.

Is there a way to fix this issue it lags the browser or it freezes for a second.

I noticed that Firefox implemented an update today at 10:36 (CST). I have noticed that since that point I can no longer click the login button for my ShipStation platform. I can login without issue through Chrome, but prefer to use Firefox. I have cleared my history for ShipStation in Firefox. I have restarted my computer. The page loads, but clicking on the login button has not result - nothing happens.

Please help!

May I first say that trying to get hold of you to make this report was painful, and took about 20 minutes and a long walk around Mozilla's assorted website, opening two accounts, etc.

I received a notice while using Firefox on PC that an update was available. I was going to put it off, as I had 25 tabs open, but the notice indicated that my open tabs would be restored once the update was complete, so I approved the update. It download and I assume installed the update, seemed to temporarily close Firefox, and then reopened the original page with all my open tabs, plus an empty page. When I tried to open the tabs shown, they all indicated that the tab had crashed and then gave me the option of restoring that tab or on some restoring all tabs. Neither worked, in fact, that Firefox page became completely unresponsive and would not allow me to browse new urls (the tabs just spun). I actually had to use MS Edge to get to anywhere to seek out someplace to make a report. I first went to the discussion group and opened up an account there, but from there noticed that feedback on Firefox was at a different url. I then needed to create an account "here". Since nothing was working, I closed and reopened the Firefox page with all the tabs on it, figuring maybe it would restore the crashed tabs. It did not and all tabs were lost. I can probably get back to some of them using the history archive, but it was very disappointing and will be even more time consuming. I am running the current version of Win 10 pro, 64 bit, on a PC. I thought you would want to know about this. Thank you for your time.

I have not been able to highlight and copy ~ even prior to the most recent update.

Even using control/ does not work.

Where are all the tabs for the research I was working on? I stepped out of my office for a few minutes and returned to a very proud message declaring that Firefox had auto updated and now better than ever. Only all my tabs are gone. Why does every other browser save and restore tabs when updating, but not Firefox??? Do I have to go back to Safari or Chrome? This cannot happen!!!

I am using Ubuntu 23.10.1 with KDE Plasma desktop environment. Since recently I've been experiencing the following problem with Firfox document viewer: after a period of inactivity, PDFs become unreadable, and seem to cumulate everything that was displayed on screen (see screenshot). Ctrl + F5 does not help, and neither does closing the window and opening a new one with a link to the file. KDE Document Viewer displays the same file correctly.

When a firefox window is active on my second display, I lose the firefox menubar on my main display. I haven't noticed this before, is it something new, or have I inadvertently changed a setting?

Hi, I've been trying to get the Multi-Account Containers Add On to work on my computer for quite some time. Would be very handy for me. When I add the Add On to my browser the icon on the top right of the screen just won't show up. Don't know what I've been doing wrong...? How can I access the container settings someway else? I've made changes to my FF settings in regards to privacy via the recommendation from Sun Knudsen but don't really see an issue here. Thanks in advance!

macOS 10.15.7, Firefox 125.0.3

I know that it is possible, cause, in the past, I had extension doing exactly that. When I click on an active tab, Firefox just minimized it and went back to the last one I was looking at. But it was for the old version of Firefox. It wasn't compatibile with the new ver of the brawser. Can anyone can help me find some extension doing that please?

Strange issues 125.0.3 Installed and I am getting scrambled text and some icons. When I check logs from my server the text is unreadable, if I try Edge or another browser, all is well. I included a sample log file.

I am also experiencing strange icons in google maps (see image). Those are supposed to be the road number markers, this also works correctly in Edge and other browsers.

I have managed to figure out ways to remove items from context menus from various pages here and around the web however it always seems to leave an additional unwanted separator line that I cannot find how to get rid of.

There are a number of additional lines I am looking to remove but the current one that is annoying me (based on most usage) is the additional line between 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' and Search which is an add-on - Simple Context Search - https://tinyurl.com/yck5c (as shown in the attachment).

I did have 'search google for...' directly above the 'Search for Google' option which I removed.

I also removed 'Copy Link' which was above the 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' option which I also removed.

Hope the above makes sense and any help greatfully appreciated.
