bold textI am getting "Welcome to ad-free, secure video streaming!" every time I turn on firefox. I can't seem to get rid of it and don't know where it came from. It wants me to "Finish installation" and never installed whatever this is in the first place.
It also tells me "Auto-reporting via Google Analytics is disabled! "
I have no idea what is going on, don't want whatever they are offering, just want it to go away!
I neglected to say that I just 'x' this thing when I see it but it appears whenever I start firefox.
Thoughts?

Hi I've no idea which section this should go.. I'm having an issue when a youtube channel im following sets a live. When I get the card on the desktop for the 30 min timer, I'll click it.. sometimes it will open in a new tab (usually the card just disappears), that's another problem.. Anyway.. If I switch to the new tab at the time the live should have started, it shows the counter reset to 30 minutes.. if I F5 the page it will load the live.. Is there a way to auto start the live when the counter hits zero?
Hope that wasn't as clear as mud...
Thanks

Images in some hotmail emails do not show. A blank space or a large space with a tiny icon (I don't know what it is) in the upper left hand corner is where an image should be. A right click in that space will allow the image to be opened in another tab.
I am using a laptop with Windows 7. I know support for that is ending soon.
Using another browser solves the problem, but I don't want to do that.

Tell me how to restore Firefox opening with our most used tabs

Could you kindly advise? WashingtonPost.com does NOT ask to accept cookies even after I deleted all cookies, website data and cache (but in Opera it does ask for cookies), after Firefox automatically deleting cookies and website data after closing Firefox, and after cleaning cookies, website data and cache with Ccleaner — WHY? Which mechanism of Firefox is exploited by WashingtonPost.com? And what should I do? Thank you!

I recently bought new computer with Windows 11 Home Edition. Downloaded FIREFOX browser and migrated in my bookmarks, (which worked GREAT!!!!). Then I attempted to log into the Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) website. I could enter my user name, password and security question but then I received a message, on their website: "The system is experiencing problems. Please try again later." (see attachment below). After working with YNCU staff for HOURS, it was suggested that I log in using "Microsoft EDGE" browser. My login was accepted in seconds - NO problems. Today I attempted to log into the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Again I was able to enter my user name, password and answer to my security question. The response I received was: "404 -- NOT FOUND From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1: 10,4.5 404 Not Found The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition it temporary or permanent. If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address." I immediately attempted to log into the CRA website using "Microsoft EDGE" and was IMMEDIATELY granted access after entering security information. I REALLY LIKE using the FIREFOX browser - and detest using Microsoft EDGE, but unless this access issue is resolved I will be forced to use EDGE :(.

I have been going to the same website using Firefox for a year or two and now when I go there the home page for the site shows up for a few seconds then disappears leaving a white screen. Once when I was backspacing there was a notice saying it had been deleted from it's cache and to reload which I did but nothing happened. I have also been using CCleaner and I have been cleaning the MFT free space for Drive C I've been doing that for a month or so and I'm wondering if that caused the problem? I wouldn't think so if it was the problem it should have happened the first time I used it and it should happen on my other browsers and it hasn't. It's only 2 web sites that I know of that have this problem there may be others but I haven't found them yet. How do I get FF to reload the site in it's cache and keep it there if this is a problem with FF? If this is a problem with CCleaner and the free space scan I'd like to know that. Thanks for any help this is great.
I paste a paragraph into my 'Cox' email and it eliminates the double space after the sentence period. How do I stop that?

When I start Firefox on Ubuntu under Wayland, Firefox behaves as if both shift keys just stopped working. In any text field pressing either Shift and any character inputs nothing, e.g. Shift+A inputs nothing instead of "A".
This only happens in Firefox, not in any other app that I checked (terminal, Chrome). It also doesn't happen if I start Firefox in a Xorg session.
Pasting such characters *does* work, e.g. I can paste "about:support" in the URL bar but not type it (":" requires shift).
This also happens when I start Firefox in troubleshooting mode.
What are the next steps in troubleshooting this?
Why is it hard to restore sessions when laptop is restarted?

I've installed firefox and weirdly when I use youtube or just browsing the CPU is 250 and it's draining my new mac really quickly. This did not happen before on my previous mac. Seeking some help and answers, went to Apple genius bar and they've stated is the firefox application that is causing the fast drain of power.

Hello, there's something about new tabs that's been annoying me for a while now.
Whenever I open a new tab to search either with Ctrl+N or"+" icon, I have to manually click on the search bar, or do ctrl + L. I don't know if this has always been the case, but I often find myself opening a new tab, entering the query, and then realizing that the search bar wasn't selected and then begrudgingly having to re-enter the query.
I wonder if there's a setting in about:config that enables the search bar to always be selected whenever I open a new tab; if so, please let me know.
Thanks for your time!
