Despite many attempts at fixing including reinstalling FF, highlighting various drop downs in the history menu like the "everything section", every two hours etc. Nothing seems to work and I end up deleting the history one by one. Thank you

I recently experienced a 1-minute power outage, during which my PC abruptly shut down while I was working. One of the joys of living remotely. However, an unexpected event occurred, causing all my add-ons to vanish. I am very concerned, firstly because that can happen, and secondly, what happens to the data stored? Even after the PC rebooted, my Mozilla account remained logged in. I didn't need to log back in to get to this support page. The sync is on and has been completed. The most inconvenient part is that I was working on some integrations between Obsidian, Readwise, Logsec, Omnivore, and syncing accounts when the outage happened. Because of memory issues, I now need to remember which extensions I had and recently added, which is why the aforementioned apps are necessary. The add-on I am most concerned about is my password manager extension. I've made logging in feel like trying to get into a fortress, so having to go through that again is giving me anxiety. Anyone know how or why add-ons could possibly disappear like that? I'm a long-term "want to use Firefox" person, but this sort of thing really turns me off, and I hate all the other browsers because of their lack of security. I'd love to hear your thoughts on fixing this and what I can do if it happens again in the future.

I am experiencing several crashes a day on firefox and I am providing an example of EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ on just one of them. Any one know what this means?

Since at least one update, and maybe two, I have been having the following experience:

For context: I do remote work via Zoom and Teams. I am using an iMac running Sonoma 14.1. I use a magic keyboard and magic mouse. I bought the computer in March of 2023.

1. Open Firefox and use it for a while. All is well.

2. Out of nowhere, with no sequence or pattern I have been able to discern so far, Firefox stops responding to left button mouse clicks. Right ones still work.

3. Quit Firefox and re-open.

4. It responds to left button clicks again.

I don't usually have to do this more than once per day, although I had had days during which I had to do it two or three times.

This does not occur in Safari or Chrome.

Almost every week I get Firefox "browser.startup.couldRestoreSession.count" set to "2" (Firefox keeps restoring tabs and windows an indefinite number of times after a crash in this case). I reset it to default, and then the situation repeats.

It has been so for at least a year.

Please let me know if there is a program or Firefox extension responsible for this annoying behavior.

Since few days I experienced a strange beaviour on my firefox:

if I press and keep pressed a key, say backspace or left arrow or just a letter key, then usually I see repetitions, e.g. fast erasing back, fast moving back and forward or just typing something like:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

In my gmail composer this does not happens anymore, and if I need to erase a word I need to repetitely press and relase backspace key.

I erased firefox and make a fresh install, via snap, with completely new profile, but the problem remains. It does not seem to appear on other places, for instance when typing this question everything is fine. If I use gmail with other browser (same pc) then all is fine.

I have ubuntu with all updates regurarly installed, uname -a give me Linux mypc 5.15.0-101-generic #111-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 5 20:16:58 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

How can I fix this? Where I have to look?

I deleted the site cookies and disabled tracking protection with no success, however, I was able to login in trouble shooting mode. I went back to normal mode but was still unable to login. Is there anything I can do to correct the problem?

PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR how do I get rid of this error that keeps popping up when I attempt to launch Amazon.com I have never had this happen before..... it just started about a week ago.

Whenever I am ready to type out my password for my Gmail account using Private on Private window, Firefox asks me to update. Is is legitimate, or Goole is doing something?

Reply to zeroknight - 2. I use Bitwarden for my password manager. When I disabled it I was able to access Regions. All my other logins seem to be working OK. Maybe a Bitwarden update will fix the problem. Anyway, I know what the problem is now.

Every time I turn on my computer or try to access G Mail and Google Calendar, I have to sign in. This did not happen in previous versions (I am now using 124.0).

Can anyone explain why this is so? I am missing something?

Will appreciate any guidance to solve this issue.

Can you help please, I opened my laptop there was a quick flashed message that I needed to do something to regain sound (sound seems to have gone completely) and I don't know how to correct it
