Hello, in our house we have 3 personal computers and there are 6 users. I have moved all user profiles to NAS. It includes Desktop, My documents, Firefox and Thunderbird profiles, etc. File "profiles" stored in C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox is same for every user: [Install308046B0AF4A39CB] Default=\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\Home\Firefox Locked=0

[Profile0] Name=default IsRelative=0 Path=\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\Home\Firefox Default=1

[General] StartWithLastProfile=1 Version=2

Sometimes, when user starts computer, then Firefox error message appears: "Firefox is already running..." I am sure user is not running Firefox on two computers at the same time.

In my opinion, it is problem of improper closing of Firefox, even sequence "Close Firefox, when it is closed shutdown Windows" is followed. So far I solved it by deleting parental.lock file, but it is not easy job for every user. Could you tell me what I made wrong or maybe it is something beyond me?

I am suddenly getting the following error message: "We recommend you use a different browser or disable the “EasyList Cookie” filter from your “Content Filtering” settings (found under “Settings” -> “Shields” in the Brave Browser)." Firefox is now unusable. I have searched "Settings" and can find nothing about "Content Filtering," "Shields," or "Brave Browser." Can you tell me what is going on here?

When I run a virus or add remover like Malware-bytes it considers the application a "PUP: Legacy" item and counts it as an item to be quarantined or removed. The count of items like this are adding numerous hits that keep growing. How can i stop this from happening?

On the webpage https://www.drivethrurpg.com/pub_tools.php Firefox breaks. Image here for reference: https://imgur.com/a/382kw9L. The area in red in the first image is an error.

From the console I saw that the website is shifted to Quirks Mode.

From a discussion with their support they said that this is a Firefox issue, as the website does indeed work fine in Chrome and Edge.

Not sure why this is triggering Quirks Mode.

In the same imgur album (above) you can see that the page has a proper doctype HTML header.

Any ideas?

I have once again returned to get some help with a problem I've been encountering for a while now.

I've been using Firefox browser for years now with no problems. When I bought a new top end PC about a year ago I've started noticing that I have problems with browsing the internet. At first I ignored it, but the problem persisted to this day and now it started driving me nuts.

When I open a random new website, or a website I haven't visited in a while I get the error message "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site."

Then I have to refresh the page up to 10+ times, which is incredibly annoying, before it loads properly.

- my internet connection is stable, as I don't have this problem on my old PC (Windows 7, PC connected to internet with cable directly to modem) - I do not seem to have this issue with the Edge browser on new PC that came with Windows 10. I have not tried using Chrome or any other browsers - I use a Asus RT-AX55 Router, the connection to new PC is with cable. - I do not use any VPN

Some people have suggested that this could be an issue with the router's settings, but then why is the issue not present when using Edge?

Please help and advise what could I possibly do, because I have zero clue whatsoever...

After i click on hyperlink and chose by default to open with Mozilla, nothing happen. I try in Options too, nothing I uninstall Chrome browser still same!!!

When there was chrome as option it will open with chrome, but i want to use only 1 browser

As soon as i start my computor with firefox i get this message: Warning you have virus. You must install re-captha-version-3-49.top. What is that? I have norton and norton says no virus. What shall i do?

When trying to set up proxies in firefox, I typ in about:config i accept the risk and continue and get this message: Changing these preferences can impact Firefox performance or security. And I cant go any further. Please advise.

I have many webpages open in many browsers and tabs. From time to time, FF locks up, and then the PC locks up, and the only way to resolve it, is to restart (eg: reboot) the PC.

when i try to log on to my USAA bank accounts.

Tech support at the bank worked with me for an hour. We changed password, cleared the cache for the bank's apps, restarted Firefox, restarted the computer, all to no avail. I declined to try Google, simply because i don't trust it. Tech support person said another bank customer had had same problem and just changed browsers, which i don't want to do.

Guys, can we please un-fuck the yubikeys security not working under firefox?, it's like you have decided to go back to early 2000, it is quite the step back from medium security, or should we all using crypt keys just switch to other browsers?

Hi, why is firefox opening multiple duplicate tabs when I open new tabs?

It is currently saying I have over 3,000 tabs open?! I know I do not have even nearly that many tabs open.

Consequently this is slowing down my online usage

How can i set a local image instead of a link? If i use a local storage path, it just gives an error: "Valid URL required". EDIT: found out that the folder: C:\Users\moder\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\XXXXXXXX.default-release\thumbnails is being cleared when the browser is closed, despite the options to clear exclude cache. Can this be assumed as a bug?

Hi, I just created a bunch of folders for my long list of bookmarks. However, when I click on Bookmarks all I see is the same long, unorganized list instead of those folders. How can I rectify this?

Since snap firefox keeps crashing somehow, it just hangs.. i cleared cache and all, reinstalled it, but still.. ?
