I'm having an issue that seems to Lock up YouTube on Firefox.

I'm trying to get back into using Firefox but I'm having a persistent issue in both FF Mainline and even in FF Beta 119.

If i play a Video on YT then switch tab to do something else then go back to YT it lock up the video window. I do not have this happen on Chrome or Edge.

I have tried refreshing the browser and still have this issue.

PC Specs: Razer Razer Blade 15 Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable) GPU NVIDIA RTX 3060

When I click bookmarks, tools etc, all the menus are in dark mode. I want them back to normal mode. I had the same problem about a year back and I had to dig in some firefox settings file to revert this dumb and unwanted change, but I cannot for the life of me remember how or where, so any pointers are appreciated. :(

Attached is a picture I took of what I'm experiencing. At first I thought it was an issue with my monitor or perhaps my computer hardware, but it seems to only affect Firefox. Besides the obvious black squares you can see, I invite you to look at the top of the page displayed. Where it talks about Megan thee stallion, the "a" and "n" of "Megan" are kind of cut off by something.

I also experienced twice, maybe three times the whole page going blank for a second or so before returning to normal (not my whole screen, just the firefox browser). I just checked and Firefox is up to date.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I also checked Windows Defender and saw it had detected a threat, named Win32/OfferCore. I have since deleted it and have started a complete analysis of my computer which is still underway.

My OS is Windows 10. I hope this can be resolved, as currently it is stopping me from being able to read an article on Wikipedia, with many of the letters being kind of cut in the same fashion as with "Megan".

Hello, I have been getting a bit annoyed at something very small that I tried to fix, but nothing I do is working.

I am wanting to use the address/search bar and click my mouse wheel to open a new tab in the background. Without switching to the newly created tab. But instead it's always switching to the new tab right as I click with my mouse wheel.

I have tried looking up the problem online and following the people's advice on other posts. Nothing is working to change this. At all.

I went to the "about:config" area and tried switching a few settings related to opening the tab in background and restarting Firefox, I tried going to the actual setting page and the checkbox for "When you open ... switch to it immediately" was unchecked. Nothing was changing at all and clicking the mouse wheel was still opening and switching automatically. (All "__inbackground" stuff in about:config is set to true at the time of this post, I have noticed that changing stuff in there and restarting Firefox isn't effecting/changing anything)

I would really appreciate some help if this is still able to be changed. I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox, and I really loved how I was able to click my mouse wheel to open a tab in the background. (Also, I am using the latest version of Firefox)

At the latest update firefox 64bit crashed and I neede a totally new install of firefox. After downloading it said, partly installed we will repair the upgrade and it did. However only a few bookmarks were recovered many of which were over a year old... So how to recover my recent bookmarks, which were in sorted in named bookmarkfolder, e.g. home/study/work

I would assume a backup frommy firefox account but that does not show a solution..?!??

On Windows 10, Professional up to date with Malwarebytes (pro) and Microsoft Security Essentails running permanently.

Hello. I'm using Firefox 119 for MAC OS. However my device is labeled as Windows 10 Firefox. I don't have any Windows software labeled anywhere. I have signed out, restarted device and still no change. When I log into a website from Firefox, my "authorized device" is recognized as Windows Firefox.

I have been a FF fan for almost 20 years and this is the first time sucn a phenomenon has happened. Inside Manage Cookies and Data my Storage is blank nothing is showing and yet the sites I visited are listed as well as the cookies. I have cleared everything hoping to start over would resolve this. My husband has a separate profile on our desktop computer with Windows 10 We have the same setting and yet he is not experiencing this at all. At the end of a session which is usually 1.5 hours I delete the sites that are taking up storage in the MB numbers but for the last 3 days the sites are listed again as are the cookies but under storage nothing? I have attached a screenshot there is not much there because my husband deleted all data but imagine my surprise after 1.5 hours to see all the web sites i visited listed the cookies too an zero storage? I tried to troubleshoot this but could not find anything about it on the Internet. I sincerely hope you can resolve the issue. And yes I have most recent version of FF Thank you in advance. It always worked, i just alt+tab to firefox, quick spacebar and youtube video paused until few days ago, now i need to specificaly click on the video in order for it to work, other buttons work, other video websites like netflix dont have any problem. I remember new update tab opened. Why do you have to break everything? Don't know how long that show all tabs button is up there but I tried couple times to remove it and its impossible, why URL bar is also search bar? Why? everyone can but search bar whenever we want, even right next to it, who thinks of this bullshit? Instead of being user friendly you put useless shit into it making it work like a my 16 bit PC when people expect it to run smoothly and quickly.

I seem to not be able to access the website for my local oil company https://fegleyoil.com/ even though I have been able to do so multiple times over the past few years. I have checked every Firefox setting but am still unable to load their site to order oil. I have successfully been able to load their site not only on my smartphone but also on my work PC. I need to know how to fix this. Please advise and many thanks in advance for any assistance. BTW, it also doesn't load on my home PC in Firefox, Edge or Chrome but again loads just fine on my phone and work PC and my home PC VPN is turned off when I try to access this site and I have it added to my Firefox exceptions to be allowed.

I can log into the RYA site, I then want to access a specific part of their site (Cerificate Administration), I click on CAdmin but nothing happens. I have contacted the RYA who have acknowledge a problem exists and sent me a message, which is below, unfortunetly I do not undestand what they want me to do on Firefox - do you understand? Can you help please?.

I look around a LOT on FB Marketplace. Since the latest update, I cannot see the individual listings when I click on them. There might be an extremely brief flash, then the screen goes solid white. I have no problems in OTHER browsers and this has occurred only after the latest Firefox update. Do I have to abandon Firefox completely or is there some way to fix this?

I am attending college classes on line, I frequently have 4 tabs pinned, and 3-4 further tabs open. Without any discernible pattern I can fathom, Firefox will close everything. I have no add-ons to remove, update or restart. I have no plug ins to remove, update or restart. My drivers and Windows OS are all up to date.

I ask my Firefox to delete my history and clear the cash when it is closed, so it takes me roughly 5-20 minutes to log back into everything I'm doing for class or my personal life when this happens.

Upon researching this matter today, all the fixes I can find involve removing add-ons and plug ins. Or updating them. Or turning them off. I have none to try this fix on. The advice on the main page says to check that all system are up to date. I have checked, they are.

With the latest update domain guessing is no longer working. I like just typing the name of the website and having Firefox add the prefix (https) and suffix (.com, org, etc. so I can move aorund the web just a little faster. The setting I used to turn it on is no longer in the about:config menu. Is there a way to get this back? For example, I was able to type in Amazon and the amazon.com website would automatically open in the tab. Now I get this

i synced data before i reinstalled Windows and now i logged in and went to Firefox/settings/sync now, as there is nothing else and no date were retrived ???
