There was an update download recently. Did something change that prevents me from seeing this website: https://vk.com/video/@miselet It takes forever to load and blinks on and off the whole time. When it finally loads, I click on a day's videos and all it does is give me an error message. I had no problem with that site in May when I watched the daily videos from the May sumo tournament.

Recently I have been getting an error where after some point in time youtube-related pages will stop loading when I try to open them or if they do load they will tell me I am not connected to the internet despite being connected to the internet. It will have occasional brief windows where it will load the site again before going back to not working but I have no idea what causes this change. I have tried clearing my cache/cookies and disabling my add-ons but neither of those things stop this from happening. Interestingly, if I restart in troubleshoot mode or open a private window, youtube will load perfectly. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this issue?

Not able to recover my yahoo account that has been in use for over 10 years! Very sensitive files and emails are locked in there, mostly Patients records!! Yahoo wants driver license and credit card # first to solve the problem. I have tried everything. It used to be easy to recuperate a forgotten Password or user name to sign in. Is this legal what they are doing? They say one can get help free on line, but they always use---Invalid entrance and direct you again to this paid service only if you give them driverlicense and credit Card. Is there a way to get some help? Please!!!

I downloaded the DownThemAll Firefox extension, and I see it in my settings under Extensions, however, when I right click on a web page, there is nothing in the list to allow me to use the extension. I did not receive any instructions on how to use the extension either like I receive when I update my Firefox Browser. I have checked everywhere in my browser for something that allows me to use the Extension, but there is nothing. Attached is a snippet that shows my right click in an area on a webpage that I would like to download.

How can I get Firefox to recognize encoded URLs?

The un-encoded URL works, but is fragile because of the hyphen-minus characters. The source text is on a Powerpoint slide, and preservation of the hyphen-minus depends on the PDF writer, any PDF tools used (croppers, n-uppers, rotaters, page manipulators/extractors/combiners, etc.), and the various systems on which the document is processed.

I have two Outlook accounts registered & one set as default. But, when I tried to setup my default in settings, Apps, default apps, email it only offers me Outlook.com (instead of my default choice) so automatically always selects the mail account I do not want! It used to work OK for years until I had a recent SSD failure & hence I need to reset it correctly. Your help page doesn't seem to tell me how to select the specific mail account I want (i.e. when you have more than one)? Please therefore tell me how to do that & also change your help notes accordingly.

Firefox has assigned my .cpp files as type "Git", but .cpp files should be type "Visual Studio 2019". How do I change the type "Git" to "Visual Studio 2019" for .cpp files, so when I want to save or open a .cpp file the Firefox Applications matrix assigns .cpp files to Visual Studio 2019?

I suddenly can't click the "copy song link" item in Spotify anymore. It worked fine last week and works normally in Chrome.

It also fails in Troubleshoot Mode and after clearing Startup Cache.

Firefox 102.0 (64 bit) on Windows 10

On my video gallery page, some of my videos are stand alone and others are a series of two or more videos. When you click on the series, it takes you to the page where all the ones in the series are housed, but then when you click on one of the videos in that series, I receive a prompt from FIREFOX: Receiving prompt on my created web site "FIREFOX CAN'T OPEN THIS PAGE" Open site in new window...

This totally messes up my ease of use for customers and is keeping them from following through. I would like this feature disabled if possible. Any work around for this?

Firefox is showing me the same blocked (and cancelled) download on each startup. Firefox tries to download same file every time I open it. I have seen this issue in several threads. I want to share my experience in resolving it:

In your Firefox profile folder (%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox) look for the file download*.json (the asterix represents some characters I did not record). If it contains the strange link for that file he is trying to download all over again at each startup, delete the text ad save the now empty file. At the following startup, the issue should be resolved and the download*.json should disappear from your profile folder.

Since earlier this week my Firefox browser has been turning .jar files from GitLab into .jar.zip files, which prevents them from being used properly until renamed. Attempting to download the same files on Edge or Chrome works correctly, and attempting to download any jar files from other websites (even GitHub) also works correctly. It seems that GitLab is the only website that is affected by this.

I'm using Firefox developer edition (102.0b3), and already tried using private mode, resetting Firefox, and reinstalling. Since I use GitLab as a main source to upload files, many users have also complained the same problem to me, in which all of the users were running Firefox. After they downloaded with a different browser, it worked for them as well.

The issue is as follows: unless I use 'alerts.useSystemBackend = true' (which I don't want to do), I'm not getting any push notifications.

Using this test site: https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html - the logs goes as follows: Notification #1 queued for display Notification #1 closed

What I've tried: troubleshooting mode, reinstalling firefox, using a completely fresh&clean installation, and even reinstalling windows. Even after reinstalling windows and immediately installing firefox, the problem persists. However, it doesn't happen on another machine I've tested on, everything works perfectly there.

What could possibly be the problem? Please help!

Hey, some websites break and show weird fonts when the option to let them use their own font is disabled from the prefernces settings. Is there anyway to allow an individual website to use their font if they want to?

My Firefox is v102, 64-bit, on W10 Enterprise. ESR channel. It keeps telling me I need to update.

Under HELP, it fails to download whatever it is trying to update. Even though I got v102, I tried the online installer (mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new). Thinking about it now, I did not try an offline installer.

I been searching online and tried this policies.json file (github.com/mozilla/policy-templates/blob/master/README.md#backgroundappupdate) with these entries:

Is there anything else I can try? There seems to be no simple option to click to not check for updates temporarily.
