I cannot install English GB dictionary for my spell checker. When I click add dictionaries it takes me to a page where I can select Englsih GB as one of the dictionaries available in my locale. It then takes me to the info and remove page for the dictionary but there is no option to install and no pop up to start the download appears.

Firefox (10.0002 64-bit) is bookmarking every single page I visit, making the bookmarking function useless to me. I just noticed this problem recently. Someone posted a similar question in 2016:

He seemed to think the problem was related to an app -- but someone else posted to that question and they did not have any new apps. Nor do I. I haven't knowingly installed any apps to Firefox in the last year.

Can someone please tell me how to stop the bookmarking function from booking pages automatically without my input?

i have assurance wireless home page on my desktop and when i try to get it in firefox i get this messageInternal Server Error

Apache/2.4.25 (Debian) Server at myaccount.assurancewireless.com Port 443 works in edge and Chrome and ie/able all adons cleared cookies done everything i can even called assurance and they were able to access it not sure why i got it in edge and ie'

I watch videos on dropout.tv which uses the Vimeo SDK as their player for the videos. After switching to Firefox, the video progress has consistently started from where I left off on Chrome. The site doesn't remember where I ended the video when I watch it on Firefox. I assume this has to do with the cookies, but I've manually added "dropout.tv" to the list of exceptions in Firefox settings so that that site is always allowed to store cookies.

Returning briefly to Chrome, the player immediately tracked my progress again, so the issue is definitely related to Firefox somehow.

unable to see cast option on few websites like most websites. I tried to install the fx_cast option where I can see the cast icon now, but when I play youtube videos and click on cast button (fx_cast), its not detecting my google chromecast. Google chromecast is detected in edge and chrome browsers, but why is my TV not detected in firefox. Like I cannot see the cast icon on many websites where I see the cast icon on edge and chrome browsers, the icon itself is missing in many websites. Please make sure the wireless TV is atleast detected in firefox browser. I have tried so many changes and it does not detect my wireless tv or does not show my chromecast tv signal. Something is wrong with your browser, its not working fine. I have enabled the flag casting in the browser about:config as well. Appreciate it if you can please fix it asap as the streaming is abs fine in firefox browser and the same website runs slow in chrome and edge, which is why I need to use firefox to cast to my tv. Appreciate your help in this regards.

Our printers are added from a print server. FireFox is showing the full printer server path as the printer name. This is not good. Why is this happening? I have tried clearing the printer settings and re-adding the printers but this did not fix the issue.

Only happening on the profile/account page is showing up all in spanish. All the other pages for example, this page where we ask our questions, and every other page loads in the correct language that I have it set too English. I am in desperate need since I have to verify suspicious activity and devices but I can't since I do not read or understand another language.

I autoscroll, using the middle mouse button a lot. I middle click, release the button, and just move the mouse. To stop the scrolling I click the middle button again.

The problem is that in Twitter (only when using Firefox, not Chrome), and perhaps a very few other websites, if I make that second click (to end scrolling) over a link or linked image, the link opens (in a new tab). This is very frustrating, since I can move the mouse anywhere while scrolling, and I commonly mistakenly open links this way, interrupting my reading.

If I am *not* autoscrolling and middle-click on a link in Twitter, nothing happens. (Perfect!) But if I am autoscrolling the link opens (Bad!).

How can I set up Firefox to that the middle mouse button will never open links, and only function for scrolling?

In running version 100.0.2 (64-bit) and recently started getting the below error in Jenkins No valid crumb was included in the request(have been running Jenkins for over 2 years and never had this issue)

When I switch over to a Private Window the issue no longer occurs.

I tried the exact same webpage in Chrome browser and it works without having to go to a private mode.

Any Ideas ?

When FF on my Windows 10 machine crashed FF asked if I wanted to refresh FF. I said yes, and FF reopened as usual with all my tabs. After I closed and reopened FF the next time, it reopened without any of my tabs. I then discovered that FF had unchecked the “Startup Open previous windows and tabs” box, which I had previously religiously monitored to be sure it was checked. So I lost all my previous tabs.

In my sessionstore-backups folder I found the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 as last in a list of three more recent file names. I then dropped the file upgrade.jsonlz4-20 in the scrounger tool on this site: https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It expanded in the big window, and when I clicked on Save uncompressed JSON as text, I see all the URLs run together in a text file.

How can I use this information to recover my tabs, please? If so, how? Or is there a better way to use the Scrounger – or another – tool?

Otherwise if I delete the three more recent file names in the list above the upgrade.jsonlz4-20 file, and restart FF will I recover the missing tabs? If so would I the check or uncheck the Startup Open previous windows and tabs box?

Lastly, can I restore my missing tabs using Windows’ “System restore” tool from 3 days before the crash?

but in chrome, edge and opera connect successfully. first LED on, then preview is shown with no bug!

(first i check firefox, not connected, then check in chrome connected, NOTE: device is not busy with chrome when i check firefox, i am a web developer:) )

If I wanted to use the navbar for search I'd set it up that way. I don't, and I'm getting really sick of doing this...

    type in searchBar "about:config"
   Accept warning
   Search "browser.urlbar.suggest.searches" and change it to false (Do this Only if you want to disable suggesions)
   Search "keyword.enabled" and change it to false
   Search "browser.fixup.alternate.enabled" and change it to false 

every time I open Firefox or a new tab in Firefox.

I'd like the option of not having it search in the navbar, ever. I search using Google. I like Google. I've been a big fan and supporter of Firefox for years, but this constantly having to deal with the search in the navbar thing, which I don't want it to do, is really turning me off of Firefox. I hate the Microsoft junk, Explorer and Edge, and I don't like Chrome either, but I'm getting really sick of Firefox trying to shove this Search via the navbar thing down my throat.

How do I disable navbar search permanently, or am I just stuck with redoing it every time I open Firefox or a new tab, at least until I get completely fed up and decide to give another browser a try at replacing Firefox?

On other browsers such as Google Chrome these elements load instantly after clicking on them.

I have uninstalled all addons and accepted all cookies, I also tried to disable hardware acceleration, all to no avail.
