I just installed the new built-in VPN - and it appears to show as running in my Mozilla Accounts page (???).

HOWEVER, that is the only place I see it!!

No icon/display panel anywhere (not showing in Customization of toolbar option either) to see usage, turn on/off, etc.??

Hi, it looks like Firefox can copy links from selected tabs, using right-click menu. It doesn't work for non HTTP(S) addresses though, such as "file:///C:/Users/USER/etc."

Is it possible for non HTTP(S) addresses?

The add on Export Tabs URLs by AL is very good, has the option for non HTTP(S) addresses, but I couldn't get it to work for selected tabs, is it possible for selected tabs?

Hello. I have a problem with firefox lagging on high end pc, these are my specs for context: cpu - ryzen 7 9800x3d gpu - rtx 5070 ram 32 gb ddr5 6000mhz motherboard - msi b850 wifi 6e

i have a folder of bookmarks called "social media". When i want to check every website there (for example: telegram, discord, whatsapp), i start manually opening them up, so i hit the folder, click the needed icon, open new tab, repeat everything. And the moment i turn on 2 tabs like that, everything starts lagging. I don't think that my pc is the problem, because it is not even half a year old + it has good specs. Maybe there is a setting that i accidentally turned off/need to turn on to remove this problem? I love firefox, and i am using it for a while now, but now i am thinking about switching browsers because of this constant lag that happens. With all due respect, Emin.

P.S. i know that you can open all of the bookmarks right clicking the bookmark folder and then pressing "open all bookmarks", but most of the times i don't need to open all of the bookmarks, that's why i open everything as i said earlier.

I just got a samsung galaxy s26 (old phone is not available); when i accessed my Firefox, my Collections were missing. From other research, it seems that Collections are not available anymore. However, there must be some way to recover the websites that were stored within them, so i can at least rebuild them.

Love Firefox by the way... So, autocomplete in the search bar is often helpful, don't get me wrong, but it redefines the delete/backspace key to be context-sensitive. Now, sometimes it does what I expect and backs up one, erasing the character I just typed. However when autocomplete ghost text is present, that same key removes the ghost text only, leaving the character I'm intending to remove. This is enormously inconvenient as I now must watch to see what autocomplete is doing and adjust my behavior to comply. Were I designing I would not make the delete key dual purpose context sensitive, instead I would do both at the same time! Delete what I just typed and remove the ghost text. Safari started this, I complained and of course got no response. Subsequently I noticed the same behavior in Firefox. My suggestion, request, is that search delete key behavior not be decided for me. Either make this Safari behavior a settings option, by default is OK, so that I can choose, or (my preference) delete both ghost and previous character with a single keystroke! I use multiple Firefox profiles and create separate desktop shortcuts for each profile using Firefox’s built-in profile shortcut option. I then pin each profile shortcut to the Windows taskbar so I can launch them independently.

The issue is that when I click one of the pinned profile icons, Firefox opens a new separate taskbar group/icon instead of attaching the window to the already pinned taskbar item for that specific profile.

For example:

• I pin Profile A and Profile B separately to the taskbar.
• When Profile A is already open and I click its pinned icon again, Windows creates another Firefox taskbar button/group instead of reusing the existing pinned Profile A button.
• Google Chrome profiles do not behave this way on Windows — each profile stays grouped with its own pinned taskbar icon as expected.

Is this a known limitation/bug with Firefox profiles on Windows taskbar integration, or is there a way to make Firefox profile shortcuts behave like Chrome profile shortcuts?

There was an update with Mozilla Firefox on the 8th. I had tabs open on the computer. After the update, I could not retrieve the tabs I had open. Tried to restore and nothing worked. Is there any way to restore my tabs?

A couple days ago I started getting a blank page for the Firefox home page. FF is set as my default browser and FF default for windows and tabs. The home page was working fine but now I can't figure out how to get it back.

What do I need to do to disable, hide, or eliminate the horizontal scroll bar? One is displayed when I open spreadsheets using Google Sheets, which ends up blocking information that is normally seen.

I'm on Windows 11 and have the current Firefox installed.

This issue just started today.

I was attempting to watch a video on patreon, and normally I pop out the video so it is larger. This normally has no issues.

But today when I hit the button to pop it out, Firefox crashed.

Firefox then updated, so I thought maybe it was just because it needed to update.

I attempted this two more times with the same result. 

The first like I normally do where I start the video and then click the "pop out" button. Then the second time with the video paused. The minute I click the pop out option Firefox just crashes closed either way.

We have an issue : we reinstalled windows 11 on a machine and thereby lost the account login used to sync Firefox. No way to recover it (we went as far fas as using file recovery tools but no luck).

Is there a way to recover only the account login ? No need for the password. I could provide the IP of the computer in question (it is a professional IP, not shared).

Anyone else had problems the last two weeks with performance? I'm on a macbook (Tahoe 26.3.1) and in the last two weeks tabs are constantly crashing or freezing. I have never had this before. It's doing my head in and I'm about to make the painful move over to Chrome if nobody has any ideas how to fix it?! I don't want to do that as all my bookmarks etc are set up on Firefox...
