For several days now I have been receiving the message "Automatic activation of filters". It goes away after a few seconds but is extremely irritating, how to turn it off?

When I open a new tab in FF, a row of 8 boxes appears below the search bar where I can add shortcuts. I currently only use 5 of them, meaning there are 3 empty boxes left over. I don't want to have them show history, or recommended websites, or anything of the sort that might distract me; the shortcuts should only be those I actually intend to use, of which there are only 5. To my knowledge, the only easy way to add/remove shortcuts is to adjust the number of visible rows, but this only allows modifications based on multiples of the original 8. Like in Chrome, can I actually remove any excess shortcut boxes I don't want to use? I feel this is a very basic customization I'm sure Firefox should be able to accommodate.

When I upgraded my Firefox, in Mac iOS, the pocket add-on is not on the new tab page. I’ve tried about. Dot config and have not found a way to restore pocket on the new tab page.

I use Firefox on my Win11 and Win10 PCs. The Win11 version of Firefox has a button to restore the recent closed button, but the Win10 version doesn't. I wonder why?

When I use the url calculator, the number will display as expected, e.g. if I type 900-756.07 Firefox displays 143.93 in the url. However, when I try to copy that number, the length of the numbers decimal places changes substantially, e.g. 143.93 turns in 143.92999999999995.

Is there a way to prevent it changing the result?

I've been using Chrome for a long time, and I've been slowly switching over all my bookmarks, passwords, etc to Firefox. I'm running Linux mint for context.

Every time I open Firefox, it opens the home tab, and after a second or two it opens Mozilla Rally in a new tab, and it drives me ABSOLUTELY BONKERS, because I get halfway through typing in a website, and I'm redirected to this new tab I care nothing about, and for some reason cannot get rid of it in the minimal startup settings that actually exist.

That's some straight up Microsoft Internet Explorer sh!t there, and yes that was meant as an insult.

I have not been able to find any reference or any way to make that not happen, and it is seriously making me consider abandoning Firefox entirely. Don't make me go back to Chrome.

So I’m looking at a help document in a web page. It tells me to push this button or that. So I go the affected app and try to find the button mentioned in the help file. Can’t find it, so return to Firefox to re-read the help file. The window is gone. I can find the tab for it, so I can open it pretty quick, but why do I have to? Why does that window have to close? This is yet another reason to switch from Firefox to something else.

Po przeinstalowaniu systemu i wgraniu Mozilli mam problem z otwieraniem plików. Brakuje mi możliwości jak ze zdjęcia, które jest z instrukcji jak to robić. Przykładowo pliki .pdf zapisuj się i otwieraj od razu, wszystko fajnie. Ale już pliki .msg czy .eml nie chc otworzyć się automatycznie w Outlook'u i nie widzę nigdzie opcji zaznaczenia "zawsze otwieraj podobne pliki" czy jak to tam szło dokładnie. Bardzo proszę o pomoc gdyż bardzo mocno utrudnia to pracę i użytkowanie przegladarki.

After i click on hyperlink and chose by default to open with Mozilla, nothing happen. I try in Options too, nothing I uninstall Chrome browser still same!!!

When there was chrome as option it will open with chrome, but i want to use only 1 browser

Suddenly, your Read Aloud feature no longer works properly: pitch and speed are distorted and can't be normalized. Don't know whether it's the fault of either Mozilla's or OSX's update. Both builds are up to date. Is there an alternative?

I have multiple Microphones on my PC. I don't want to Plug them in and out Everytime, and some can't be unpluggt. Also i want the freedom to choose easily. I would love to change it in the "Permission for web.whatsapp.com" Menue thats drops down when i klick on it in the Adressbar. See picture attached.

Ever since I loaded 120.0.1 (64 bit) I have had problems accessing numerous sites. For example, https//HOn30.org. FIrst I get several "Having trouble ..." messages, and when it does come up it's a blank screen. I have had this happen wtih Library of Congree, eBay, and most sites from linking within another web site. I have tried playing with the "HTTPS mode" and the "DNS over HTTPS" to no avail. What changed with this version and how do I fix it. Win10 Sp1 64bit Dual Xeon E5 CPUs 128gb RAM nVidia Quadro K5200 w/8gb VRAM C: = 1tb CT1024 SSD (Crucial) D: = 2tb 7200 rpm WD E: = 5tb SSD (Samsung) F: = 1.5tb Seagate (can you tell I used to be tech support?) Hello, when i click the 'extensions' icon in the toolbar, it redirects me to the extensions manager site, rather than opening a little popup with a list of extensions. How do i fix this so that the popup appears again?
