Hello, I encountered an issue today where, upon starting my PC and opening Firefox, I found that I had been logged out of every website. My bookmarks, browsing history, and extensions are all still present, and I am using my usual profile. However, all active login sessions were cleared. I haven't changed any privacy settings recently, and I'm wondering if this is a known issue following a recent update or if it indicates a corruption in my profile's cookie storage. Could you please advise if this is a "normal" occurrence or if there are steps I should take to prevent this from happening again?

I deleted coockies and since then (even though the Settings appear correct) every time open a web site I hace to accept cookies and re enter my log in. Nothing is rememebered. I evern have some sites opening blank (without my saved options) but on my home computer the same user name and password displays the data that i missing on my work computer. I exported passwords, deleted and re-installed Firefox but there is still the same problem.

Help please!

Recently, websites (e.g., YouTube) have stopped keeping me logged in. I've already checked all the security and privacy settings, but haven't found anything that seems to be causing this.

I hope someone can help me. It's really annoying having to log in to all the websites every day.

I have websites I frequent like Youtube and my email set to 'remember me' so I don't log back in every time I open Firefox. Recently, for some reason, whenever I close Firefox I am logged out of everything, and if I open it again I have to log back in to all the services I use.

Settings I think may be relevant to this issue:

• Enhanced tracking protection is set to standard
• "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is set to false
• "Remember browsing and download history" is set to true
• "Remember search and form history" is set to true
• "Clear history when Firefox closes" is set to false

I have not changed my account settings at all, and this problem has only cropped up in the past few days, leading me to believe it could be something to do with a new update? I'm no expert though, I just know this is driving me mad.

Recently, Firefox has started making me log into my "keep me logged in" sites such as facebook, slickdeals, etc. I've tried changing setting to not clear history. But still every time I close Firefox and open it back up, I have to log into those sites again. Any help would be appreciated.

I have Firefox set to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" and also "Clear history when Firefox closes" (with everything set to clear except site data).

Then I have an exception list of sites to save cookies and site data for (for example, youtube.com).

The problem I have is that not all of the cookies are deleted when I exit. In addition to the sites on the exception list, there are others not on the list that remain.

For example, in the screenshot, this is a cookie from gleam.io. It's setting it for domain .youtube.com, and this is one of the cookies that remains. I believe it's remaining because youtube.com is on the exception list. However, it should be deleted because it's for the gleam.io site. If I check the browsing data in Firefox after restarting, it shows up as site=gleam.io.

Furthermore, I question whether the cookie should be allowed in the first place, since I have Strict Tracking Protection enabled, which should disable all cross-site cookies.

With last updates on firefox desktop..(2 last updates)..every update reset all my websites logins..I had to relogin again in all my websites..what happened?..is normal?..or error?

Can someone please help.. My passwords are saving. They auto fill...But before this latest version I had a few sites that I could ciIck on the bookmark and it would just open without having too log in.. I do have clear and delete cookies and history, but in previous versions these were in the exempt list so everything was saved. Would like that to still be in place both in private Firefox and normal.. This version has wiped out a lot of settings I assume I dont want to have to log in and go through check ups..Passwords and user details are there but not auto log in think there exception rule in previous version not sure where that is now

I need to find how how check if cookies are enabled on my Firefox browser

For a couple of days now my cookies have been getting deleted or corrupted every time I turn off and back on my computer. The only temporary solution I've found have been to delete my cookies.sqlite file, copy cookies.sqlite.bak and renaming it to cookies.sqlite. It is very frustrating to lose all my extensions, my cookies, my bookmarks and logins to my usual websites. I am using Firefox version 146.0.1, on a Windows 11 computer running version 25H2. Also, my original cookies.sqlite file is 512kb while my backup is 2048kb exactly, if that is useful in any way. How can I fix my issue?

Good day,my firefox has been acting weird for the last weeks.Everyday I have to re-login to all the sites I have been to,as if it doesn't save.E.g my email,I might login today,but tomorrow i have to re-login.Or youtube,today i login,tomorrow i have to re-login,confirming that I'm the one by going on the phone and pressing the correct verification number.Please,would you like to help me with this,so that i no longer need a phone and so that i no longer have to re-login the whole time.Some sites i had yesterday aren't even here now.

So I added a URL into 'Cookies and Site Data' > 'Manage Exceptions' with the option "Allow for Session". But it appears to have no effect. The site's cookies and data don't disappear from the "Manage Cookies and Site Data" window after Firefox is quit.

Does "Allow for Session" mean that a site's cookies and data will be deleted when Firefox is quit? If yes, the feature is not working ... in my version of Firefox which is 115.32.0esr. Or, am I missing something? I have "Enhanced Tracking Protection" set at "Strict", if that has any relevance.

A website I want to get on is not letting me sign in. It says the cookies are redirected in an improper way. Trying to figure out how to change cookie settings for a particular site.
