see question, please. using win10 (because of compat issues with some of my development software. if i make a change to one of my websites (reload a modified page), i have to get out of firefox so cookies will be deleted. That's a bit painful, as i am making a lot of web changes on my servers just now. The circular "reload page" button does not always help. thank you

Recently I have been having a problem with repeatedly needing to reset my password every few days on sites that always used to recognize me. It seems my cookies are being deleted automatically or something. What is going on with this?

All of a sudden I have had problems getting into my gmail or anything Google through Firefox. I have tried deleting cookies and it would work. Now it will not work at all. What has Firefox done? How can I fix this?

I couldn't log into a site and it was suggested to 'clear cache' as follows: - settings - privacy and security - cookies and site data - clear browsing data BUT only cookies and temp cache sites. By mistake I believe I ticked browsing and download history too, and looks as though it is irrersible? Now I no longer automatically get all the little boxes I used to get for usual regular log ins (eg The Times, Meteo, banks, email etc) I think I can use 'add shortcuts' and re-enter these, but any other suggestions? I have one website that gives me a "Secure Connection Failed" If I click on the icon in the left address bar on mybrowser, I am given an option to "Clear cookies and site data" I click that and then appears a blue button at top that says "Clear" Now when I do a refresh of the tab, everything loads fine. This is Newsmax.com I read the news there. IS there a way to into Firefox settings and make an exception to https"//newsmax.com and make it so I don't have to keep clicking "Clear Site Data and Cookies" ? Thanks!

Hello there's just been an update on my laptop for Firefox.. and now I'm logged out of every account I had opened on my browsers!! I googled this and seemingly this problem has happened before with Firefox..

After uploading Firefox Update 115.35.2ser, Cookies and Site Data will not fully clear. The Clear Data button removes some cookies and data, but there is always 122 KB of disk space still there that will not be removed. I have deleted my add-ons, but that had no effect.

This happened once before (several years ago) but only went away with a new update.

If I use the "refresh Firefox feature will that fix the problem and if I use that feature will all of my bookmarks be lost?

However, for the past one to two years, I've encountered a persistent issue on my desktop where Firefox resets unexpectedly. Even though my extensions, passwords, and settings remain, I’m repeatedly logged out of my favorite sites like YouTube, Gmail, and Facebook. Despite reinstalling and troubleshooting, the problem persists. I trust Firefox so much, and I hope you can help me figure out what’s happening so I can continue using it with the same joy I always have.

I cannot get Firefox to accept session cookies. I have my cookies set to standard in the settings. I have also set my permissions to allow cookies from the website where I am trying to view an embedded video. I set the permission by using Ctr-i. When I reload the webpage, for the briefest moment it looks like the video is loading, but then it reverts to "Access Denied".
