I want Firefox to auto-enter passwords for log-in on selected sites. There are a few sites I use regularly -- on which I am NOT worried about someone discovering my password. (On Chrome, once I have signed on to the site, I can re-open the site without bothering to log in with user name and pswd.)

Why without updating the browser I have a problem where the browser no longer shows the window with the suggested password

Why does your browser break without anyone's intervention, why does it stop showing the password insertion menu as before, and there is no way to fix it. Every time you screw up, I just have to reinstall the browser?

I want to have Firefox auto fill my passwords. The directions I see say to go to Security and click on Logins and Passwords. When I go to Security Logins and Passwords is not listed there.

So, I cannot get sound through firefox and you want me to search through numerous panels that do nothing to get a result., You want me to check connections and equipment that work in other apps which I have already gone through steps to prove.

You also have zero ability to actually contact a support rep. You prefer I go on the roundabout of obfuscation until I really want to find someone in mozilla management and insert the mozilla organisation on a long pole, five km should about do it.

If microsnot and giggle can do it, why not youhoo?

If if I'm watching a video on a site like Youtube or facebook, when I scroll away, a small window of it automatically opens in the lower corner of my screen. How can I stop this. When I scroll away I d like it to just stop the video.

Firefox has my credit card information and it shows up in a window when I go to pay for something, but when I click on the credit card I want to pay with, the details appear on the form but get removed almost instantly.

I am in UK. It was working until recently.

None of the earlier answers have helped.

It seems that more and more websites are adopting a single button you have to click both for creating an account and to login with an existing account, as opposed to having 2 buttons, one to sign in with an existing account, one to sign up for a new account. For me, Firefox does not fill the login (email address, for example) automatically in those cases. Ironically, an example is https://accounts.firefox.com

To be clear, Firefox does remember and autocomplete my password, but not my login (the email address).

Is there any way to make it work? Thanks!

My Firefox browser has been crashing for a while now (Years). It's fine playing YouTube and BBC iPlayer but when I advance the time marker to a different part of the stream or video, it crashes. It also has a problem when playing slots. It seems to crash a lot making it impossible to play.

I have tried using Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode but the same things happen.

I decided to download Firefox and make it my default browser, so I downloaded it and followed some recommendations I found online for configuring security settings...but for the life of me I can't remember what those are.

Weeks later, I decide to watch Peacock, but the error message says I need to disable my ad blocker. I search for an ad blocker in the extensions but can't find one, so I start disabling other extensions like Facebook Container...but to now avail. I follow all the usual online steps--clearing my cache, restarting the application, restarting my computer, etc--but nothing works. I have the same error with Netflix, and switching to another browser yields the same result. So it must be something wrong with my system.

Can you help?

I recently imported passwords and usernames for auto-fill from chrome and a few of the websites will not auto-fill my username. I have to manually type the username every time even though i can see they are saved in the Firefox browser.
