Can anyone help me please. I went into the download page and the links from there didn't work, co I found another one but the message stated that it was not an authentic for Windows 10.

For some reason when downloading audiobooks from Audible, the download window in Firefox is categorizing the files as mpeg4 (video) files using the .mp4 file extension. However, unlike audio .mp4 files, Firefox is encoding them as VIDEO .mp4 files. The files do not open in iTunes nor media player as (obviously) they aren't actually video files.

The files download properly as .aax files in Safari and Chrome so this is a Firefox issue and a recent one at that; thus, it could be related to the recent Version 93 update. There are a few others who have mentioned this issue in the community forum, but as far as I can tell no one at Mozilla has actually addressed the issue or offered help.

Yes, you can change the file extension to .aax once downloaded and it opens fine. The point is that there is no discernible reason the files should be categorized as video files in the first place, and since this function has been working for years until recently this seems like a bug the Mozilla team should fix.

after removing office 15 likest lost the file and ff would not work. I was able to locate legitimate file, but have no idea where to place. any one help with were to place the file and how,. thanks very much for any help you may have:)

Firefox disappeared from my computer late Sunday night.

I have not been able to reinstall it.

After downloading the installer the process seem to proceed okay at first. But the progress bar stalls at about 95%. Then the installer sends a message that says something like installation failed.

Please help me.

I am running Windows 10 on a HP Desktop.

So I just bought a new HP laptop. It has 2 Terabytes and 8 GB of Ram. Basically I want the firefox version that is the MOST stable BUT also has the newest shit. Like i want the Beta programs but i dont want the beta bugs..... So basically i dont know if yall could help me out at all. should i gert the

I was having issues with Firefox freezing on launch, so I ran the repair which did not help. I tried to uninstall the browser and the uninstall stopped responding. I downloaded and ran the Firefox Setup 93.0.exe file and it freezes trying to execute the default-browser-agent.exe at register-task E7... (see the attached photo - I can't expand the window to read it from there).

I much prefer Firefox to Chrome and would like to get it up and running. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been having problems downloading the firefox browser, as it seems that I have to do it multiple times before it can be installed properly. I tend to get the disk image, which populates on my screen as an image icon. This usually occurs several times before I see the actual application file within my download files. Tonight I am having this problem again, as I noticed that the browser was no longer on my computer, which prompted me to download again from Mozilla's own site. However, I keep getting the disk image, with a circle and cross through the circle over the actual firefox icon which is supposed to be dragged into the folder and then installed. Not sure why it keeps showing up as an image (disk), and not the actual application? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, The problem I have is that when i download a screenshot in Firefox, left click the download arrow in the top right corner, click on the file, I get a message that says "the app didn't start". Never had the problem in November but seems to have happened after a Firefox update. I have the most current updates for Windows 10 pro 64, Firefox has been removed and reinstalled, Comodo was disabled, Strong VPN was disabled, browser privacy was set to standard, I have set up a separate folder for Firefox downloads and get the same message. I should note that these are all .png files. What app do I need and is it a Windows or Firefox app? Thank you for any help.

I get it- there's a new update. I saw the message. THREE TIMES today already I've been subjected to this message. I've spent the last week going to about"config disabling EVERYTHING, desperately trying to stop this patronising Big Brother subjection. Is THAT what Firefox wants? I'm on a work laptop- I can't alter files. I'm not going to update after 57 summarily removed ALL my addons. If I can't remove this constant nagging, I'm giving up completely and moving to Bravo. The fact there is no communication with Firefox reps and it subjects users to nagging shows how unreliable and dishonest it's become.

I tried to download Libre word processing three times and it said it downloaded but it did not. I hit the icon, it flashes on the screen and disappears. I noticed a help feature from Libre but it doesn't work either as the instructions are impossible to follow.

How can I get Libre Office downloaded so it works on my Windows 10 PC?

I accidentally deleted Firefox ESR that worked fine for years on my old Macbook Pro laptop (2009) running El Capitan OS 10.11.6. Now I can't reinstall it unless my OS is a minimum of 10.12. I don't want to mess with attempting an OS upgrade for fear of losing files and photos. This computer is strictly a nostalgic backup that I would like to keep functioning for a while longer. Any way around this?
