Hi! Since this week, the visualization of some fonts seems transferring in kind of Greek font, as in the screen capture. I checked the advances options concerning Firefox fonts. Everything seems basically configured and the option «Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above» is chequed. Firefox updated 108 System Mac OS 13.0.1 Thanks for help. G

Today I was adding Firefox to my Mac, as I want to get rid of Safari. (I already was using Firefox on my Surface laptop, and have stopped using Edge). But I must have pressed the wrong button; after I installed Firefox on my Mac, I wanted to import the bookmarks I have been using from Firefox on the other laptop. Instead, I somehow imported the Safari bookmarks to Firefox--I didn't want those! Then I went to the Surface laptop, and when I pulled up Firefox (I was signed in already from yesterday) it had also changed all my bookmarks to the Safari version---oh noooooo! Is there a way I can reverse everything and go back to the earlier version of Firefox with the bookmarks I want to use--not the ones from Safari? I am not going to touch anything else--afraid to make it worse! Thank you.

Hi, I am using Firefox 103.0.2 on a M1 Mac with an external sound card with multiple stereo outputs pairs (1-2, 3-4, etc.)

Whatever the system selection for default stereo output is (e.g., 3-4), firefox will systematically select the first output pair (1-2) of the external sound card. All other applications (Chrome, Safari, Music, etc.) output on the selected default stereo output (3-4)

I can see I am not the only one to face the problem but threads are hard to read and understand.

Downloads preference for firefox on my imac won't work. Recently had a system default which corrupted my Documents and Downloads files. I created new files called "My new Documents" and "My New Downloads". New Documents file works fine. Firefox preferences won't let me enter or choose a new downloads file preference.

Hello. I have a problem. I'm a new macbook owner, installed firefox and I'm having trouble restoring tabs. I have the "open previous windows and tabs" option checked, and yet when I close firefox and go back in, it shows me the start page instead of what it was before closing. I don't know where to look for help and what the problem is. Regards

How are my bookmarks stored when synced between devices? Are my bookmarks encrypted as well as my passwords/credit card info? This is from the Mozilla page regarding encryption:

"Your encryption key remains a secret, only known to you and your authorized devices." and "We store your encrypted data on our servers so we can’t read it."

I just wanted to make sure this also applies to bookmarks before I import all of mine.

I have a really high RAM usage with Firefox.

What is intriguing, is, from the "about:performance" tab I totalize 6.02 GiB of RAM. And from the System Monitor, 14.59 GiB (+242.4%).

I suspect a memory leak.

Macbook Air M2. Updated firefox, updated OS.

So, I have a firefox tab open. When I set "Full Screen" in "View" setting, I still have the tabs and url bar shown. I want to be able to remove the tabs, url bar, and mac toolbar from the screen while on a firefox tab. How do I do this? "Full Screen" in "View" only removes the mac toolbar. If I remember correctly, my windows 10 computer just has to press F11 to go fullscreen and remove the tabs and url bar as well (or is that google chrome?).

Hi, all. having a lot of trouble with Firefox on MacBook Pro M1. This is unusual for Firefox. Pages won't load; Firefox won't even fill the URL into the address field when I use a bookmark. Just sits there. I use Mozilla's VPN, but this situation happens whether I have the VPN on or off.

i have formatted my laptop and reinstalled Firefox and when i logged in with my Firefox account , it didn't restore my saved data automatically ( bookmarks , passwords....etc ) i tried to restore the the data manually , and i accidentally restored a different a different google account on my current Firefox account so now 1 - i can't remove the current data i have on the Firefox account 2 - i need to know if i can restore data that i have saved several months ago , coz i reinstalled Firefox before after formatting and i didn't have any problem in the past with that

Hi guys! Currently I'm working on a project which renders video with webGL. The result works on all browsers as expected but not with Firefox vers 109 for Apple Silicon devices (m1, m2) - the video animation is just lagging,it takes cpu usage up to 160% and the video itself is stretched. Comparing to that Chrome takes 22%, Safari 14% of cpu usage. It's just regarding to this devices, it works fine on Microsoft so I think it's a browser bug regarding to osx verision. Could someone pls help me with that or have a look over?

Every time I download a Yahoo Mail attachment the tab closes (crashes). This has been happening for the last 6 months and is 100% repeatable. Is there a solution to this annoyance?

As I said in the title I can't right-click bookmarks if they are in folders, but there is no problem if they are in bookmarks toolbar. This issue appears only in full screen mode. I've tried using troubleshooting mode, but nothing has changed.

I contacted my bank to find out why their site no longer worked with Firefox and they had me refresh my Firefox settings, and now I'm not able to log in to certain pages using my passwords. The login pages say either my username or password is incorrect but they're not. When I click on "Forgot password" and give my email address, it says they'll send me an email to reset my password, but the email never comes.

How can I get my old settings back?

HI, i deleted my firefox while cleaning up, had 2 downloaded for some reason. All of my toolbar and saved stuff is gone! I thought it had it synced but its going to my old email at a company i dont work for anymore. Any way to recover this? And thanks! Tom
