I'm trying to install Firefox on a Chromebook. I've done this successfully before. Using the instructions in the Mozilla page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/run-firefox-chromeos?utm_source=www.mozilla.org-firefox-browsers-chromebook&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=seo#w_installing-the-firefox-desktop-browser-with-flatpak

But the command in the terminal window sudo bash -c "$(curl -fsS https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mozilla/sumo-kb/main/run-firefox-chromeos/install-flatpak.sh)"

Is giving me the error message curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404

Any advice would be appreciated! This is a fresh ChromeOS environment since I just did a factory reset so everything should be clean, and with latest OS version.

At some point every night, my Firefox (and only Firefox) reverts to version 111 from the latest version. This happens on 2 different Windows 11 machines.

I can only get Firefox to run again by running from command prompt with "-allow-downgrade" option and then updating again.

I usually don't notice until I launch Firefox the following morning and it gives me a message that the profile was created with an older version and to exit or create a new profile.

I've had Firefox open and then it reverts and it gives me a XULRunner error about the profile being used by an older version.

I don't have any special backup or restore software running and the physical files in my Firefox folder in c:\program files\mozilla firefox are being physically pushed to a prior version dated 3/21/2023.

On both machines, I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled and it's good for a day and then reverts.

No log entries for the reversion can be found. It's just back to a prior version.

I've never come across anything like this before and have scanned for any malware or other issue, but haven't found anything.

I need an older version of Firefox (version 50) to enter a specific website, but everytime I close and open Firefox again he updates alone. How can I prevent it from updating?

I updated Firefox and an old version remains on the "show applications" screen. I suspected it might be another profile, so I went to about:profiles and removed it, but it's still there. As I am relatively new to Linux (Ubuntu specifically), I would appreciate some help with this issue.

Hello, With the latest Firefox update I lost the LastPass add-on, and Firefox will not let me install in again. I get the message "LastPass: Free Password Manager could not be installed because Firefox cannot modify the needed file." Can you help me with this please?

I have Dlink web cams. They are only accessable via a MyDlink app. The app is only compatible with Firefox 51 or 52. How do i get older versions running on my laptop?

I'm restoring from time machine backup in mac and cannot get firefox to work. I have located the profile folder and the error message I get when I try to open firefox is: "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

I do not know where to move the folder to in order to get firefox to work. I did not rename the folder. I went through Library to Application Support to find the profile...now what do I do to get firefox to work? Do I need to move the folder? Where to? Should I just delete the firefox folder in App Support, then import my Chrome profile to Firefox after I download it again? Will that even work?

Firefox is the browser I use casually. I recently found out about Firefox Quantum. I go to download Firefox Quantum from the mozilla website at https://mozilla.org/firefox/browsers/quantum. And when I click on the download button, It takes me to the same download page as regular Firefox. Did Firefox and Firefox Quantum Merge at some point in time? No article seems to help.

Since I agreed to a Foxfire upgrade ~5-11-23, I can't open Foxfire. I get this message "Error: Platform Version 113.0 is not compatible with minVersion >= 113.0.1 or maxVersion <=113.0.1".

I downloaded my bookmarks from my Desktop. I emailed the file to my laptop. How do I integrate this new .html file into my laptop? When I open the .html file, it comes up with a very nice list of my websites by name and they show as a link. Now I need to get them from the .html file and merged into the laptop.
