Is it possible to unload a specific tab according to the user's order rather then the same order used by Firefox to choose the next tab to unload?
It would helpful if we could unload a specified tab without just closing this tab. Is it possible?

After I boot my system I am not able to open Firefox as it complains about an open instance. After around half a minute the file disappears on its own.
Deleting the lock file manually works for starting firefox, but seems to sometimes delete my cookies as well.
The issue is not reproducible by just logging out and in again.

I have Firefox installed on an XUbuntu 20.04.2 LTS machine. preferences to "restore previous session" on startup. Intermittently, when I launch the browser, one of my windows has a very strange appearance (please note the general look of the window in the attached screenshot and ignore the "page cannot be displayed" message, as the screenshot was taken when I was not connected to the Internet.)
I have already tried reseting Firefox and that does not make the problem go away permanently; it always comes back eventually. (Note: I cleared cache before, and cookies after, taking the screenshot but before opening this support request. So the "troubleshooting information" attached reflects how it is after cookies are cleared.)

When printing a pdf from the built-in pdf viewer (pdf.js?) to a network printer, it's so slow as to be unusable. Save the same pdf and open it it in Xreader, click print, and it starts printing immediately. Size of the document seems to play a role; I knew it was slow from trying to print smaller documents in the past, but today I needed a hard copy of a 68MB pdf, and hours later, it still had not printed.
I'm running latest Linux Mint Debian Edition 4 Debbie and latest Firefox in its repositories, 78.11.0esr (64-bit). Printer is Canon imageRunner 2200, it doesn't have any other slow printing problems, as I stated above.
Problem seems to have existed for a long time...

But this looks like a more detailed history stored on disk. Now, is it possible to see the DNS A records that the browser stores, translating a domain name to an IP?

When I enter my username on the Penfed.org website, it replies with a dialogue box that simply says "Fail". Nothing else. I've attempted to login with troubleshoot mode without success. I've also cleared the cache and deleted Penfed cookies. No luck. I'm using version 89.0.2 (64-bit) with Firefox for Linux Mint 1.0.
This is a recent change as I have not encountered this issue previously in Firefox. I can also logon using Penfed's app on my iPhone so I know the system is not down.
If anybody has ideas, I'll try them.
Thanks. Charlie

I'm facing speed differences between Chromium and Firefox. I checked all the hints how to speed up FF, nothing helped. I also de-installed FF complete (linux Mint) and reinstalled with new settings (initially raw system only) but difference between Chromium and FF is still given, FF appr. 130 MBit/s download and 150 upload, Chromium 190 -200 down, same for up. Checked with OOKLA, same server, repeated checks over 5 days. I have a 200MBit/s FTTH connection

I wanted to install Firefox in ReactOS and it seemed to be fine. I downloaded the version 48 from the ReactOS Package Manager and at the first start it said: "Update to Firefox 58 is available" and I clicked that totify. Then I pushed the button "Restart Firefox now" and a few seconds later Firefox 58 opened and everything workend fine... At least I thought it was like that: I wanted to log in to my Mozilla account and it opened the log-in page. It didn't load the page correctly but stayed forever on the white screen with the moz://a logo in the bottom left corner of the window and the blue loading circle in the middle. Than I let it sit there and came back about one hour later but nothing had changed. Then I tried to install a newer version manually but when I clicked on the installer *.EXEs ReactOS said "Not a valid Win32 application" or the Firefox installer said "Not compatible with this version of Windows". I really want to use the newest Firefox version on ReactOS (a legal Windows-imitating OS at the technical state of Windows Server 2003) but I couldn't find a way to do so.
Can anyone help me to install Firefox 89 or higher on ReactOS?

Hello,
I am currently using a dark theme in Linux Manjaro, Breeze dark.
If I enable dark theme on Firefox (or any dark theme add-on), the control buttons don't change colors and become barely visible. Otherwise, if I open the "about" window, the control buttons match my theme appropriately. See images for reference.
Tried to reinstall Mozilla, didn't work. Also affects Thunderbirds too. Other apps are fine.
Any help ? :)
