My API URL is giving me CORS Error in Mozilla Firefox, but in other browser there is no error. I have tried many methods like changing the about:config but it didn't make any difference. Its been days I am facing this issue. Kindly help. Thanks in Advance.

Hello, I have been looking at my traffic and discovered that my firefox for some reason does multiple DNS queries for the same domain, usually 6 times or 3 times, why is that happening I have checked with chrome and it does only 1 request per domain name.

I have attached a wireshark dump, the response is there instantly in very few ms yet it keeps querying the same name again.

My version is 115.3.1esr (64-bit) I have checked in about:config with dns and couldnt find anything relevant.

The last few days Firefox 115.8esr started to give me a "Gah. Your tab just crashed." whenever I try to load somes pages, also sometimes it shutdowns as soon as a video is played in youtube.

The PTL network stopped working for playing live tv, it's the only live broadcast I have trouble with, all other PTL network features work fine, it does not matter what performance setting is used.

I have used Pocket, and found it useful, but am infuriated by one issue. If I don't click on a particular selection, I cannot get back to it on Pocket. Why is this? Why can't I get back to the display of Pocket articles when I choose not to follow a particular avenue? This really gets my goat.

I lost suddenly some pints in my explorer. I did not delete them. It had happened at: BENUTZER - Matthaeus Deffner There I have had saved some files "LEBENSLAUF" They are lost now. Can yo help to get again?

PC/WIN7 - I access my bank and get a login screen from them... when I enter my name and password I get a "FILE NOT FOUND" ... but it accesses just fine on my android phone or on my other laptop running WIN10... maybe a problem in firefox site permissions ?? Used to work up until about 4 mos ago....

Until just now. I'm trying to bring up namecheap.com (a domain registrar) and I'm getting this message:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.namecheap.com. security library failure. Error code: SEC_ERROR_LIBRARY_FAILURE

I'm not given any option to alter any FF settings or to otherwise create an exception to "trust" this site to be able to access it.

I've read where changing security.pki.crlite_mode (currently 3) to something else (like 0) and I've tried that, and unless I have to close and restart FF for that to take effect (which I have not done) then that setting doesn't fix the issue.

What exactly is going on here? Why is only THAT SITE giving me problems?

Refresh Screen nags are beginning to take over my web-surfing experience. On InstaCart I get hundreds of Screen Refresh nags -- one right after the other. Blowing Screen Refresh nags out of the water won't hurt my feelings... InstaCart will generate thousands of Refresh Screen nags -- until I nuke it.

I have a problem with the launch and operation of Mozilla Firefox/Seamonkey. Sometimes the browser gets stuck for minute until the sites start opening. At the same time, when browser starts up, I see activity that was not initiated by me.

After some time of use, the system crashes with a blue screen with an error in the ndis.sys driver.

These problems began to occur after one of the next FireFox updates. Previously, the system had been working without a blue screen for many years. If I do not start FireFox, the error does not recur. Also, if I make filtering TCP connections with the site in the RU zone at the external firewall, FireFox works stably.

I want to understand which process/component/setup entry initiates this activity. Also, I don't want the browser to try to get any information from sites in the RU zone.

Hello. I am recovering data and files from an old Windows XP machine and have installed Firefox ESR browser. I can go online without problems but when trying to log into my account for Firefox Sync I get the error message " Blocked by Content Security Policy This page has a content security policy that prevents it from being loaded in this way". Why can't I change the volume in one tab? During a meeting, for example, the radio is on, and it is much louder than the meeting, and you cannot adjust the volume of a single tab. This is very bothersome, not only in the above case. These pages determine the volume themselves. Some have regulations on the site, but not always. I am very tired of this problem. Are there any ways to change the volume of a given tab?

I want to setup a number of addons via command line on a completely fresh Firefox ESR installation on Linux (i.e. while Firefox hasn't been opened yet for the first time by the user). To do this, I first need a default profile directory, but the .mozilla folder is missing from the home path when I install Firefox (it is only created when I run the browser for the first time).

So I tried to create a profile immediately after installing FF:

firefox -createprofile default-esr

This creates the .mozilla folder containing a XXXXXXXX.default-esr directory and the profiles.ini file with the following contents:

[Profile0] Name=default-esr IsRelative=1 Path=XXXXXXXX.default-esr

[General] StartWithLastProfile=1 Version=2

However when I run FF for the first time later on, it completely skips this profile and instead generates a new default one, YYYYYYYY.default-esr-1, and profiles.ini is edited with the following contents:

[Profile1] Name=default-esr-1 IsRelative=1 Path=YYYYYYYY.default-esr-1

[Profile0] Name=default-esr IsRelative=1 Path=XXXXXXXX.default-esr Default=1

[General] StartWithLastProfile=1 Version=2

I can revert to the profile that I explicitly created by going to about:profiles and setting it again as the default, but this defeats the purpose because I want to prepare my profile via the command line without having to open FF to change a setting. Is this possible?
