F.F. version: 73.01 for linux os: linux mint 19.1

Install and click tab for vue devtool. Font resize(ctrl and +) or (ctrl and -). The menu bar above vue devtool resizes but the viewing area of vue devtool fails resizing. Clicking in vue devtool area does not help. Click outside vue devtool and on the content area. Then resize. Works as expected. Click on inspector tab. Resize, works as expected.

Tested vue devtool resizing on linux chrome. Works as expected.

(using NoScript extension) I tested Facebook with Chrome and this did not occur. There is no other activity occurring at the time. I have attached screen captures showing the network traffic.

Any ideas what this traffic might be and the best way to stop it.

I'm using the i3 window manager on Arch if that makes any difference.

Picture is of the "lock" I'm referring to. Don't know how to screenshot the issue itself though since I need to have the mouse.

"The email address used for your account is not allowed for add-on submission." For some reason, my email address is not suitable for theme submission.Unfortunately, I don't have access to e-mail with this address, because this address was provided by the temp-mail.org service. However, I still have my Firefox account login and password. Do I really need to delete my old account and create a new one? Why all these inconveniences? All themes are already moderated in full detail. This is just a set of color codes. What kind of security risk can these colors cause?

Dear Mozilla team, the problem I just experienced was that both my Telegram Web and WhatsApp Web tabs kept crashing when a new message arrived or when I tried to play a video (the latter only tested with Telegram). After some investigation I noticed that Steam had helpfully written a 16GB log file into /tmp, leaving 0 bytes of space left over. I'm pretty sure that WhatsApp Web and Telegram Web both use local storage so maybe some part of that relies on there being space in /tmp? Now that I've cleared up /tmp, everything works fine again.

Here's one of the crash reports: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/142a1504-aa49-41e2-bcb7-0e9790200329

I'm a bit confused why it crashed in that Audio thread, but perhaps it's a case of "garbage in garbage out"?

Kind regards, Felix Weimer

Firefox takes an exceedingly long time to perform DNS resolution. For example when I visit yahoo.com resolving s.yimg.com takes 133 ms.

Resolution takes almost a magnitude longer than it should take. For reference when I use dig:

$ dig s.yimg.com | grep "Query time" ;; Query time: 19 msec

I run dnsmasq on localhost, so whatever isn't already cached only takes about 20 ms on average to resolve.

Why is Firefox taking so long to do DNS resolution and what can I do to fix it?

I've already tried toggling DNS prefetch and disabling IPv6 DNS. No effect.

I'm running the latest Firefox ESR on Linux antix1 4.9.200-antix.1-amd64-smp

After having lost my bookmarks and personal information in a previous Firefox version (it kept telling me the file was in use by some other application), I managed to restore them. Now I am using 74.0 and I want to import my user certificate, from a backup created with the previous version of Firefox, in a .p12 file, but it won't appear as an option. Even if I choose to see all files and select the backup file, nothing happens, just as if it was empty. But I get no error message.

This only occurs on Linux (Elementary OS), FF v 74.0 x64.

Is this a known issue?

Firefox came preinstalled as snap package on ubuntu 18.04, but has been giving trouble since

I'm running through problems when downloading files:

The open with dialog application does not see most applications, in particular it doesn't see evince nor libreoffice. The dropdown defaults to "Url Handler Script (default)", which does nothing with my files.
If I choose to open the file with firefox (say a pdf file) a blank page appears

All these options work with chrome though..

The only way I can view a downloadable file is by saving it somewhere in my home directory and then open it which is a pain!

Obviously snap firefox doesn't access anything beyond thatI've successfully installed Firefox as a snap package (done by default by installing it through Ubuntu's "software center"). It does work, and give me a more recent version of Firefox than the one available through APT.

I'm running through problems when downloading files, though:

Saving them in /tmp/ does not work, since the snap version of Firefox uses a different filesystem than the one of the host computer, hence Firefox and non-snap applications see different content in /tmp/.

If I save a downloaded file, the open containing folder button in the downloads list does not work. I'm guessing that it tries to open nautilus, but fails to do so because nautilus is a non-snap application.I've successfully installed Firefox as a snap package (done by default by installing it through Ubuntu's "software center"). Sorry to raise this issue from about 6 or 7 years ago but it is quite a niggle - if not a potential privacy/security risk.. For info, I think this was fixed briefly about that time but returned in a slightly newer version. If you plan to fix this I should be most happy to await Debian developers to consider a newer version of Firefox ESR a "stable" package and release it to the likes of me.

Many thanks and best wishes
