I tried to change the download folder for Firefox inside "settings", and Firefox showed that the change did take, even after opening and closing the program again, but trying to download a file leaves me in the old folder again, as if Firefox didn't take what it showed it took. Also, Firefox keeps crashing when I try to download to the downloads folder. Not sure why. Clearing a few items lets me download again, but then, it will crash if I dare keep going. Is there a limit to how much can be in the downloads folder aside from the C drive itself? My C drive is showing 84GB free, in the blue, not red, so what gives?

None of my websites I try to visit want to load, I have tried multiple websites but I just get loading line in the top of the tab but nothing works.

I have tried visiting stable sites likes google but still nothing will load. I have tried another browser which works fine.

I am running version 113.0.1 on windows 11

Just curious, how is it that Firefox does NOT reace to the windows 10 display manager? All other app windows do what they're supposed to do whtn you use the "taskbar + right click" function to cascade windows, show windows stacked, and/or show windows side-by-side.

However, Firefox does minimize with windows + D (show desktop/show windows).

NB: Not critical. Just convenient when I have too many apps [10-12] running at the same time.

Cuando maniobro un poco con Google Maps (acercar o alejar el mapa, sobre todo, pero también simplemente moviéndolo) se me cuelga; no Firefox: todo el sistema, tengo que reinicializar la máquina, porque no me funcionan ni el ratón, ni el teclado. Y eso me ocurre desde hace mucho tiempo -quizá dos o tres años-, no es de ahora.

Mantengo siempre actualizado el sistema operativo (Linux, ahora Mint, pero hasta hace un año fue Ubuntu; si bien Mint está basado en Ubuntu) y Firefox. Ya no sé qué hacer: me resisto sustituir Firefox por Chrome; llevo muchos años, prácticamente desde que existe, usando Firefox y siempre me ha dado un resultado estupendo, pero esto de Google Maps me amarga la existencia. He intentado utilizar Open Street Map, pero ni de lejos tiene la funcionalidad de Google Maps.

¿A alguien más le sucede esto? ¿Alguna solución?

In case user network namespace are disabled on linux, fork return ENOSPC, as the user network namespaces are exhausted (as the limit is set to 0 [1,2]).

It would be great if there would be a work around for such a situation that user network namespaces are disabled. It would be even better if firefox could handle that situation gracefully and run without `CLONE_NEWNET` automatically.

Starting a couple of months ago, images do not load in emails sent by Constant Contact despite the domain of the sender being in Outlook safe sender list. This does not happen in Edge or Chrome or Safari. Interestingly, adding a new domain to the safe sender list will result in Firefox very briefly displaying images then refreshing with them removed.

When I try to upload a file through Google chat, Firefox crashes on the image preview of a file that is selected. When I restart Firefox, it uploads fine on the first attempt. If I continue to upload images, Firefox crashes again. This has been happening over the past few weeks. I'm using a mac desktop and Firefox version 113.0.1 - is there a way to disable the image preview when uploading files? Thanks in advance.

ive scanned my system with two different antiviruses and nothing comes up, and nothing was being downloaded before ive tried to install firefox.

ive tried to install it twice, once with my setting migrated and once all clean and they both tried to download this, is this a false positive or is the install hacked?

Before I got new installation of Firefox (after crash) the start page had correct favicons automatically for every favorite webside button. But now in version 113.0.1 most favicons are wrong and I don't know how to reset them. Please help.

Surfchex cams won't load on Firefox on iMac. I've changed settings to allow popups and video playback on the Surfchex site. They still won't load. Working on my phone and while using Chrome on iMac. Other live cams will play. Strange issue with Surfchex.com. Help please.

I clicked on a link in facebook, it brought up this popup alert (phishing) Says that 5 virus have been detected. I was able to force quit firefox, reboot, uninstall and reinstall firefox (newer version) but it still brings up the alert and freezes my browsers. Is there a way to remedy? Save info that was there? or is the only solution to stop using firefox. I ran Malware Bytes on my iMac as well and it did not detect issues.

I'm unable to view a hyperlink from my yahoo email account. I keep getting a message: We can’t connect to the server at r20.rs6.net.

I use a telehealth website to see patients (securevideo.com). The chat bubble on that website is blocked. I already spoke with their tech support and made sure I set my firefox privacy & security settings to standard, and I whitelisted (I think) the site on all my add ons (Disconnect, Ghostry, uBlockOrigin, Duck Duck Go). I also use Addblock Plus and Smart HTTPS but don't think they are relevant. SecureVideo.com's tech support said I should speak with Firefox support to find out why it is blocking their chat support bubble from showing on the site. What do I do? Also, how do I reach Firefox support directly if I can't get the help I need here? Thanks!

I used to use Firefox about 19 years or more The last two years..... FireFox was enable the auto-translate of Youtube videos in Arabic language automatically ........ Then it stopped working since four months

I thought that the "Improve Youtube extension" was the reason. I contacted the developer and said:

Its misunderstanding of the feature :( afaik as is today Improve Youtube will use the subtitle language to switch on CC if its provided in this language by video author, it doesnt switch auto-translate. Ill look into making it enable auto-translate if requested CC is missing.

Today I noticed that all videos have Arabic CC ..... Mmm, the feature has returned to work again! without any interference from me In order... to make sure the reason...... I disable all my FireFox extensions, and it is surprising that the automatic translation is still working and I recorded a video to see for yourself how to work directly once you enter the video

I know that YouTube has options for displaying / enable auto-translate always ... but it is only for the English language .... I am talking about the translation of the Arabic language in all videos Sooooo A feature from YouTube itself or what? Using Firefox. At present I am so confused. Often Firefox is not supported and I am told to use Google. I have used Firefox for many years. I like it. I feel safe on it. Now the computer world has me so confused. I am told by Vizio to sign up to get MAX which is thru Warner Bros.

I was trying to get MAX information with Vizio. I am asked to sign into my account. AACK!!!! I cannot find a VIZIO account. I go search on Passwords, computer takes me to a ROKU address with password. No VIZIO!! I want to cry. Too much of a good thing is BAD. Hi Firefox won't stick to the taskbar after a reboot of the pc. And it is also showing that it likes that it is install even after a totally clean re-installation of it.
