Please see my problem description in Subject.How do I delete the old email from Firefox account before adding new email ?? My current email address is toaka_2@triarm.com.au it is not what firefox have in my account

Hello,

Since 2 step authentication has been added to the Mozilla add-on accounts, we no longer have access to this account. We have the email address and password, but cant enter the code for the 2 step authentication as the code is sent to an email that no longer exists. We have another account that we would like to transfer an extension to from the old email account. Is there any way to access the old account or transfer the extension from the old account to the new one without having the access to emails sent to the email address of the old account?

This is important to us as the id of the extension used within the non-existent account is preventing us from loading another extension with the same id. This is to prevent us from having to rebuild our NMH software that must use the appropriate id for communication.

Any help would be appreciated.

Every time that I register with any website, business, no matter what it is, I all ways get this error come up and I can not do it via firefox. '''''The email address entered is not valid'''''

I have and account on my Firefox account that I’m not using anymore. Can anyone please delete the account for me?

It says that it needs a verification code and my Email is no longer accessible. Can someone please delete and deactivate the account for me please?

I am trying to log on to firefox from a computer I did a fresh install on. I put in my email and it sent a code to my email. I entered the code into the verification box and it says incorrect password, BUT then shows my old email I had associated with the account. How to fix?

The Original email address I used to create my Firefox account is lost.

When I look in the support site the advice is to create a new Firefox Account under a valid email address and then I will be able to sync my data.

I created a new mail address, but if I try to create that new Firefox account with that I get the notification that the primary email address of the account is needed to sign in. But that account does not exist anymore. So I don't see the form I have to fill in to create my new account. Can you help me?

I tried to copying and pasting the email code in and it says wrong code try again. I have tried multiple times and it won't work. Then I tried forget password and tried to use a recovery code to reset my account in an attempt to restart it like a computer but that does not work. I cannot add 2AF to my account. Any help appreciated. It also seems to be recognizing a email that I no longer use. I have had this problem in the past but ignored.

Hello, there still is a Firefox Sync account for the email address fraavunbensem@hotmail.de. This is the email address of my late mother. I closed the email account years ago, but now I cannot even close the corresponding Firefox Sync account. Thanks y'all for your help!! Karl

I tried to update my primary email, but it said it was already associated with my account -- even though it wasn't displayed. I added a secondary email and made that primary, hoping it would then allow me to add my main email and then swap them. But it still said the main one was already associated (even though it's not shown). I only have two email addresses. I don't want the secondary one to be the primary one. But I can't add it or edit them. Clues?

Access Manage Accounts Primary Account email shown. Secondary email states none. Try to add new email so I can make it the Primary account. Enter new email and states already exists?? but still showing NONE in the box. Seen the info on how to change Primary account but cannot get passed my Manage Accounts as the problem with the Secondary email not showing to trigger the change Primary Address box.

I would be very grateful if somebody has a solution to this problem as the current Primary Address is an old email which I wish to stop using.

My account is 90*****58@qq.com,and it work fine on my laptop and Mozilla Support website. But it just can't login in my pc with latest firefox, it says my account doesn't exist and need to creat a new account.

I recently and stupidly lost access to my 2FA app. I am not hopeful that I will regain access and would just like to delete my old Firefox account so that it isn't there to be abused.

When i try to sign in to sync data in the firefox browser itself, it sends a verification to the primary email on my firefox account (old university email). If I try to sign in with the secondary email on the account, it says it requires me to sign in with a primary email address. What can i do update my email address in my account?

I've seen the answer to this on a couple of other Q&A posts, but just in case...

On the Edit Profile page, under Username, it lets you delete the existing name and type in your own. And a helpful instruction tells you permissible characters. But if you attempt save the change, you get an error message.

The other Q&A posts say that you can't, in fact, change your Username. If so, why doesn't the Edit Profile page say so? Why does it mislead you into attempting to change your Username?

Also, the note under the Username textbox says, "Keep in mind that your username is visible to the public." So, if your e-mail includes some form of your personal name, and that name becomes your username by default (which happened to me), and you never notice this, you get exposed (such as by posting a query here)? But in fact, the "Keep in mind..." instruction isn't fully true. As one of the other Q&A posts says, if you choose a display name (which is blank until you add one), your username is NOT exposed. But the Edit Profile page doesn't tell you this.

So, the whole Username portion of the Edit Profile page is very misleading. It needs to be clarified. And, when you sign up for Firefox, you should be given an opportunity to choose a unique username. Mine was forced on me in the background, apparently.

I need an email to contact Firefox support, I got locked out from the email connected to my Firefox account and now it's not under my control and I would like to delete it, what can I do ? Please help me soon Is there an email to contact Firefox for such matters? or what should I do?
