My Firefox account and associated passwords were left open on another notebook. I have now changed my Firefox sync login password from a different PC and signed out of other devices. Can a user on the previous PC sign in with a password that is saved in Firefox?

Hi Mozilla Suport teams, i am currently using the mozilla for the developer version and the app runs flawlessly, and i love it. But i have some suggestion for the developer at mozilla to make a tab that can group the tab into a fresh tab like the google chrome has, and since i open so many tab in this browser, i would absolutely love it where the feature of grouping tab is available for me, so i can group them in name and leave it there, rahter than open up more than 10+ tabs in a window. When selecting "Open in Firefox" in the "What do you want to do with this file?" box or on about:preferences and then opening a PDF file on the web, instead of downloading the file to RAM and opening it with its online address, Firefox downloads the PDF to /tmp/mozilla_${USER}0 and opens it from there. This also adds it to the download history. I have set the about:config flag browser.download.start_downloads_in_tmp_dir to true so the files I just open and don't want to permanently download don't clutter my $HOME/Hämtningar (downloads) folder. I tried to first prevent that by selecting the default action to do when tasked to open a PDF, but that didn't fix it, so I set the about:config flag. Unfortunately, setting the default action stopped Firefox from opening a PDF inline without downloading it and I cannot find any option along the lines of "Preview in Firefox" (as described in this support article ).

FoxNews.com website crashes after a short time, displaying a message "Gah. Your tab just crashed." I am using Firefox 121.0 on a M2 MacBook Air laptop running macOS Sonoma 14.1.2. My Safari browser works fine without crashing.

I am unable to install the Bitwarden extension (attempting to do so from the extension's official Firefox page). After prompting me to allow the add-on to be installed, the process hangs. Clearing all data did not help.

Running Firefox 121.0 64-bit on Windows 10.

How do I import the firefox passwords I saved as csv file from firefox into firefox. I am not importing from a different browser which is the only option offered. I'm importing from the newly created csv file as instructed by firefox.

I had ~500 saved logins on Firefox prior to it updating to version 121.0 - now I have 15.

Firefox Lockwise app on iPhone still shows all my saved passwords.

How do I get these back and why have you deleted them?

Hi, I've been using Firefox on all my devices for YEARS without any issues. However, as of recently, I had moved into a new apartment, and with that came a new internet connection, which was very slow since the beginning, but usable.

At first I had assumed that Firefox on my PC was loading websites more slowly because of my poor internet, which was partly the case - however, my laptop and Android phone were on the same network as the PC and were both much faster. So I assumed it had something to do with the differences between WiFi and Ethernet connections - the PC was plugged into the latter while the laptop and phone were using WiFi.

But then I noticed that Firefox was the only program with lacking speeds. Spotify loads video podcasts with no problem, Steam downloads are relatively fast (as much as my network allows), only Firefox took MINUTES to load a simple web site. For example, I tried opening Reddit on my PC to write this post, gave up, and am now writing it on my phone. The Reddit website is still loading on my PC as we speak.

I honestly don't know what could be causing this issue. I checked Task Manager, and Firefox isn't using any more resources than it normally would. I am also using the latest version, I just checked.

Any ideas or fixes? Even diagnosing the problem would go a long way.

After the last couple of updates Firefox will not wrap words in view source screen(CTRL+U). This makes the info very difficult to read as most lines of code run off the screen. How do fix this? Thanks.

Can not install google translate on my toolbar. When clicking the "puzzle" to access extensions google translate is there but it's greyed out, thus not accessible, when clicking on it there are no options to pin to toolbar as other extensions have that option, clicking on options if shows "manage extension" " remove extension" and " report extension"

Often times when I open a new tab, I get a dot that goes back and forth and will not open the tab. This seems to happen if I don't use Firefox for a few minutes. It's like its trying to open but can't.

I recently downloaded Tree Style Tab. I still see the horizontal tab bar. I would like to hide it. However, I have tried just about every answer I could find on Mozilla, Google, Reddit, and any other websites that offered solutions. Nothing has worked since the last update. This includes the "type in about:config, toggle to true, open profile folder, create userChrome.css file, copy and paste xyz code, save, and restart Firefox" route.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! I have a problem with fonts on My New Workstation. Windows 11 and latest firefox. Please check screenshots. I already tried solutions from this forum like changing layout.css.font-visibility, turn off "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above". In Troubleshoots Mode problem not appear

So for folks who hand wrote thousands of lines of Actionscript code for Adobe Flash, it is incredibly upsetting and frustrating that a witch hunt went after Flash which we believe was part of a tactic by google to ensure its ads cannot as easily be blocked. Specifically google used all this "modern web" nonsense to become the monopolistic browser in place of internet explorer and to use that "power" explicitly to bend the future web to their will.

This is so upsetting, there are not words to describe it. And the fact that the "answer" is that folks who spent years and thousands of lines of code for Flash, now "simply need to completely re code everything from scratch in a new language" is offensive beyond recognition.

Please consider removing this "standard" response language or at least acknowledge the awful burden that was placed on folks by the decision to join the rest to remove the most popular web technology that helped build the internet, because google must serve everyone ads. It is just gross.

Honestly, we thought Firefox would defy the witch hunt and keep flash working to differentiate and look after the poor developers who suffered from this terrible, terrible action.

p.s. on the day Flash was officially killed off, chrome had more active "severe" security vulnerabilities than Flash. Thus, chrome is objectively less secure than Flash. I wonder how much google spent on paying news companies to post stuff about how "insecure" flash is and the stupid "modern web." I wonder if said "news" companies checked the claims, or just took the payment and posted their "sponsored content."

I recently purchased a VPN for my laptop. I bought a designated IP address set to Toronto, Canada. However, Firefox shows my location in Japan.

In my communications with VPN server they believe since whatsmyipaddress shows me where my VPN says it should, but FF shows me in Japan, the problem may be a leak at your end. When I created this account today and set my country to Canada (as suggested by PIA), closed everything and rebooted my computer I had hoped to see Canada (en) when I began a search. However, it still shows Japan.

I value my privacy on all devices and turning off location is the first thing I do. I'm now wondering if FF is getting this location from Windows.
