NY Times now won't load images (there's now a hold-to-see button; image & headlines vanish when you let go) on either side of the firewall & YouTube blacks out their link icons & the right column recommended / loaded-for-sequence play videos on the right column whether you're signed-in or not. Background images are now blacked out on some sites. None of this ever happened to me until I upgraded to FF 89.

Why is this? How do I stop it?

The array of Mac settings, FF settings, site settings is dizzying as we all know, which makes sorting out where the problem might lie a bear w/o help. Things worked great through 88. I allowed FF entree to simply install each new version. No prob. Now this. 89 is clearly a complete overhaul -- I've seen scores of comments from folks left aghast at these changes with no clear, comprehensive tutorial of 1) what exactly FF did & changed, 2) why FF did it & most importantly, 3) how to return which sections / settings to what you wanted & felt comfy with & which you're just stuck getting used to. Configuration ability is a huge aspect of computer living. That FF info alone would have lessened the heat I'm afraid you've been taking.

Anyway, back to mine... any clue as to how to reset whatever it is that needs resetting to drop this blockage? Many thanks for the assist!

Hi a lot of websites I visit are not displaying the font correctly when using firefox. I have set "Allow Web Sites To Choose Their Own" already in the preferences. See image below for example. It's happening a lot at the moment . I have updated to latest Firefox and Mac OS is latest. Pages are fine when viewed in Chrome. Help please! Cheers- Vince

Since some weeks (possibly after the latest firefox update) Firefox doesn't show videos on the website 'welt.de'. I hear the sound, but don't see the video. Other sites work fine (facebook, youtube, etc.) only on welt.de appears this problem. I tried to fix it but no success. What may be the problem?

So ever since yesterday, I have been seeing this issue with certain websites that were earlier working just fine wherein most of the text is not showing up. Please refer to the attached screenshots.

These sites are opening just fine on other browsers though. So I am certain the issue is with Firefox. I have deleted the cache already, and also disabled Hardware Acceleration through the Performance settings.

Still no resolution...

When I open gmail in firefox, it comes up as my inbox with a search for Netflix. I do not wish to search for Netflix every time I look at my mail. How do I edit the Firefox cache so my mail opens correctly.

Please make extension "MyLOFT" available for mozilla. To access British Library online it is needed.

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge has extension "MyLOFT" .

I am a regular user of Mozilla Firefox for Windows 10 as well as Linux confidently.

Please make it available ASAP.

When using eBay UK, certain features, e.g drop down menus and tabs don't work. I have noted the same issue on other sites also. My browser is up to date and I have cleared history, cookies, cache etc which has not helped the issues. These issues are only present on firefox, the sites work normally on other browsers.

I'm curious why Firefox is suddenly not displaying websites the same as other browsers. I'm a web developer and I have always used Firefox as my go-to testing browser, in large part because of it's really cool inspection of code and CSS. But just yesterday I was looking at a website I'm working on and it's not displaying the background color properly. I looked at it in 4 or 5 other browsers and they all displayed the page with a black background in the primary navigation, while Firefox is displaying it with a white background. I went to another one of my websites today on Firefox and I'm having the same problem. I'm at a complete loss as to why this would be happening. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I play canasta on www.playok.com. I play as guest. Some days I crash and burn. with MS Edge I delete history and my game count resets to 1200 (baseline) so I can enjoy new day of play. I usually clean the cookie cache with CCLEANER. Recently, I have noticed that when I use the same procedure on Mozilla, I can't reset the game to 1200. I have uninstalled and re-installed Mozilla twice. Reset it to factory. Yet when I log onto playok.com my counter is still where it was when I last played. Only with Mozilla. MS Edge seems to allow me to delete the history, Mozilla doesn't. Any ideas?

Now when logging into Firefox and old website that was blocked keeps coming up. Says server error. cannot open Browser. How do i get rid of that.. I keep deleting it and it's there no matter what. Thanks in advance

I have a problem with not being able to navigate or have the "buttons" of options on the website respond when they are clicked on. The website seems to load perfectly with no error messages at all.....it is just an inert picture, if you will. I have used this website many many times in the past with no issues. I have not made any changes on my Firefox settings prior to this problem.... I even went so far as to download Edge/Bing to see if it may be a problem with the website itself. I must report that with Bing, there was no problem whatsoever navigating with all responses the afflicted website. The website in question is Germanna Community College. Any ideas or solutions?

I have a Mac desktop. A couple of days ago, the look of my internet totally changed. The look of websites changed also. For instance, when I do a search there is a box around each and every result. The look of websites I regularly visit has changed also. For instance, Twitter has lines and boxes around posts now. My banking website looks totally different also. When I switch over to the Safari browser, everything looks normal like it used to. So, I assume the problem is with Firefox. Does anyone know what is going on?

I upgraded to FireFox 91.0.1 and now all websites are stark white. I can't get the normal colors back. I tried going to the dark theme and this didn't help. I tried installing other themes too and the same problem persists. If I can't fix this problem, I will have to go back to using Brave.
