I had several windows open each with different tabs in them.

I shut down them down and switched off my Mac.

On restarting my Mac, one of the windows had disappeared from the restore session. I've checked my History but the tabs don't appear there.

I'm using the latest version of FF on a Mac Air M2

Please advise.

How on earth do I add Quant to the Firefox search engine? This info is no where under the help section, only lots of reading about warnings! In Firefox preferences I have made Quant my default browser so why is this so difficult? I vaguely saw a little warning message saying that Mozilla was not allowing this but this warning was hidden and I can't find it again. Firefox guided my to 'pin' Quant to the Firefox toolbar but every time I open a page to search I have to remember to hit the Quant pin. This is absolute nonsense. Please email me back and tell me how I can add Quant to my Firefox so that every time I open Firefox the Quant homepage will just be there. Thank you. Cynthia

When I sign in to my bank, placing the cursor in the username box produces a number of username options, including the actual unsername and other mistyped ones from previous login efforts. I don’t want any unsername prompts. I went to Passwords in Firefox and made sure to remove the bank as a site to retain and offer such information when signing into that account. I continue to receive these username prompts. This doesn’t happen with other accounts. I cannot track down where that username information resides, how to remove it, and how to prevent Firefox from retaining this username information for this bank account.

I am reaching out to you today with a pressing matter. My current company, Five9, recently submitted an extension that unfortunately got rejected. This extension is crucial for our business operations, and its rejection has put us in a challenging situation.

Hi. I can't access my add-ons that I installed. When I click on the extensions icon it doesn't open that little menu like it does for other people, but it takes me to 'about:addons' in a new tab. I also want to pin my addons to my toolbar which is also not working. Please help me out

I set up a Primary Password, but I can easily get around it by clicking 'cancel' then clicking 'home' icon. then I can get into ANY of the links. For others who have access to my computer NOT having that access is Exactly why I set up Primary password in the first place. Surely there must be a way to fix this???? haas2128@comcast.net Thanks. I use firefox on my mac to connect to the webgui on proxmox and casaos. Up until the recent update everything works great. Now, however, all I get is a blank screen with no activity. The same bookmark works great in safari and brave browser. I tried deleting the cache and reloading everything as well as the certs related to the websites. I even deleted firefox and reloaded and got the same behavior.

Doesnt happen with firefox on my linux or windows machines, only the macos. Doesnt happen on other browsers but I would like to keep using firefox.

I don't know where the problem lies. I have a number of videos on youtube and when I was doing some work in markdown I clicked on an older link and was redirected to a website with some bozo trying to promote something - not mine. I tried a few more times and got a bunch of different websites and bozos. This is from clicking on the shared link on the the youtube page.

I don't know whether I've something on my computer, your browser that's causing it, or something somehow on youtube????

Got any suggestions?

Unable to open this site after entering username and password, it opens in all other browsers. I have cleared cache, enabled Javascript and mostly all common solutions i could google.

Is it possible for a big tech company like Apple to release a web platform that is not compatible with Firefox? Firefox is not supported by Apple School Manager (https://school.apple.com) i.e. a web platform designed for educational institutions (PA). Is it legal? Is it possible to make a claim to EU institutions? Thank you

Hi all.

My sync is only sometimes working. I notice that when saving a bookmark and trying to find it on another device. I sometimes have to manually resync it or wait for a few days to get it shown on my other devices. Same with the tab sharing across devices.. In most cases it doesn't work at all..

I am in Europe. My Bank is in the U.S. I can no longer log on and access my account through this Mozilla Browser.

I continually receive this message:\Secure Connection Failed

"An error occurred during a connection to click-notification.capitalone.com.

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

What can I do?

When i try to open youtube.com for example i used to only type in you or even you y for firefox to finish the whole URL for me, but sometime last month it dissapeared and never figuered out why after ALOT of trouble shooting to the point where I felt the need to create a new firefox account. Can you fix this for me? or just make everything deafult?

After update, netflix shows message to update browser, see screenshot attached. And sometimes, Mozilla extension webpage does not recognize that it is opened on Firefox browser, see screenshot attached. Firefox version - 122.0.1 MacOS version - sonoma 14.2.1

My bookmarks disappear when I click on them or they don't open at all. - please see attached images - I've already cleared the cache and restored the bookmarks three times but everything remains the same. I copy the exactly same link to Chrome and everything is working, therefore, it has nothing to do with the possibility of the addresses being corrupted. Can someone help me on this one? This problem occurred recently and it's quite a pain in the ass. I'm using Macbook Pro 14 inches with M1 Max chip. Lately when I work, I have to open quite many urls at the same time, and my mac went crazy hot because of firefox's insane cpu usage. I tried what's suggested to turn off the acceleration mode, but still, nothing changes.

Is there still anything I can do to resolve it? or I just switch to other browser?
