after last update of ff, the yt videos are paused. when press a start button or a space bar the video playing for a fraction of second and stops again. if holding a space bar longer the video is chopped is start - stop pieces. my system manjaro linux ( Linux 5.15.78-1-MANJARO (x86_64) ). ff version 107.0 (64-bit) thanks in advance Lukas

Good morning, Recently I discovered there are two maps called "Andere bladwijzers" in my Firefox browser. I deleted a submap in the second map and noticed this submap had also disappeared in the first map. Is there something I must do or can I leave these two large maps as it is? I was using Firefox on windows 10 laptop, everything was synced with my account. Now after switching to Ubuntu I can't see my bookmarks, Just an empty toolbar. Now I don't have access to my old laptop, I sold it.

Any help?

I would suggest within the last month or so Firefox has started to hang in a way that everything continues to "work" but I cannot switch tabs and I cannot do anything else with Firefox until I kill it.

I can periodically reproduce this by: Randomly select and copy text on a website.

Behavior observed: You can no longer switch tabs, enter a new location, close tabs, or really interact with the browser at all even though it is not dead. Keyboard shortcuts do not work either.

Suddenly my email from yahoo (my address==> [edited] @att.net) is GOING INTO TRASH. What'up ? I made NO changes to filters.

Whenever I open Firefox on Chrome OS, which I installed via the Linux shell terminal, it says in settings that the browser is managed by my organization. However, I don't have a school account signed in or anything.

Hello folks,

I had 1025 tabs open in FF, in various groups using SimpleTabGroup. Somehow I've managed to get into a situation where, when I start FF, I get just three or four of my most recently used tabs on startup.

I have no idea how to get back to the 1025 tabs I really want, but when I close FF I'm asked whether I want to close 1025 tabs, so hopefully they're still available somehow...

Any advice gratefully received!

Hello! My Firefox version is 91.11.0esr Several months ago Firefox starts behave this way. It's much more convenient when speaker button always appears on tab. It's absolutely incomprehensible why developers did it with Firefox. Who likes to waste time searching for noisy tab. I wish it work like before.

Sheesh, I tried to append to another question but failed. Just as well... I am using a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop with Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. Every time I put my laptop in standby mode (close the display) then reopen the Firefox window expands beyond the left edge of the computer. I tried some solutions offered on the forum but they did not help. Now when this happens I hit the maximize button and the Firefox display actually shrinks to a small size. That's counterintuitive but... When I hit the maximize button again the Firefox window expands to the correct size. So it's now only a minor annoyance. It seems like there ought to be a simple solution to this but I haven't found it yet.

So this issue just started and it's really annoying.

In order to actually see the downloads, I first have to enable the menu bar and then go Tools -> Downloads

Clicking the ↓ button should open a panel of recent downloads but nothing appears when I click on it. Furthermore, the "download complete" notification that this panel provides are no longer present.

The animation for the panel still works though.

Is there a solution to this?

I'm using last release Firefox in a fresh install of Debian 12 with KDE. Trying to personalize colors and get a coherent style, I've installed Firefox Color and it worked fine, except for a few GUI elements.

Is there a similar setting for the menus? I mean in Firefox's menu bar or the ones popping over the page. The dropdown of the burguer menu and the bookmarks toolbar do get styled (I will include images showing the difference).

Recently upgraded to a new laptop, Thinkpad X1 Carbon 11th gen. Running a Wayland-based WM. OpenGL is working fine everywhere except Firefox. Works fine in Chrome, Blender, glxgears, Steam games. Firefox 121 gives the following error:

When plugshare.com loads, there is a prominent search box at the top left corner. However it is missing the menu icon (see attached pic) as well as the search icon. This is happening on 2 different machines running Ubuntu 22.04.

Please fix. Google Chrome displays just fine; see attached pic.

When opening the following bookmark https://www.youtube.com/@msolrecords I end up with https://www.youtube.com/msolrecords and page not found. If I type the @ it works. Since upgrading to Fedora 36, Firefox seems to have stopped being stable at all. Having any add-ons enabled causes webpages to frequently break. Even in troubleshooting mode, I get a tab crash immediately on start, and infrequently during later browsing.

Troubleshooting mode has the same issues, trying a completely clean profile has the same issues. Chromium works with no issues.

I am running WikiSpecies on Ubuntu Firefox 64-bit v. 98.0.2.

I used to be able to display a collection of unused files with the used ones but showing a red color indicating that the file was unused (because noone had entered anything other than the file name).

Now, however, ALL files in a directory (e. g., see https://species.wikimedia.org/wiki/Craspedophorus) are shown with the same color, whether they include additional implementation details or not.

Would it be possible for you to restore the "unused" color of empty files? It is bothersome for me to open EVERY file, empty or not, in a directory just to find that most or all of them never have been implemented. Adding a special color -- or other distinctive display -- to unimplemented files would save me a great deal of time.
