In the last 2 days many problems with Firefox as you can see some below. There are more problems but in clicking one of your links below, I could not return to what I wrote. In addition I cannot check the box below "email me when someone answers the thread". Thanks B

Issue 1: When I open up the firefox settings, I cannot tell in the slightest what is and isn't checked off because nothing appears in the checkboxes. They're just empty squares regardless of whether something is checked off or not. I've attached a screenshot below.

Issue 2: I really, really hate the new proton tabs. I had them disabled by disabling proton, but I guess I forgot to disable auto-updates, because I just opened Firefox to find that they're back, much to my displeasure. It's difficult for me to distinguish tabs from each other at a glance now as they are all the same color with no borders *and* having 'autoplay disabled' and 'playing' and stuff like that in TINY all caps font below the tab label is NOT USEFUL. It is distracting to the eye, and I have to squint and lean closer to be able to read what the heck it's even saying. This is shitty for nearsighted people like me. Moreover, at a glance it is IMPOSSIBLE now to tell which tab sound is coming from. This is a huge step backwards in functionality and accessibility.

I wasn't using mozilla for aesthetics - I was using it because it functioned and was more stable / less of a memory hog in my experience than chrome, and I appreciated the ease and convenience of syncing across different computers as well as the built in password management. However, I question whether I can continue to use this browser if you're going to prioritize aesthetics over functionality and user preference.

Seriously - that the tabs DO NOT CONNECT to the page is itself distracting and weird, *but also* that the rest of the tabs blend together and have extra tiny unreadable text rather than the infinitely more distinguishable audio symbol that indicated which tabs had sound playing before is so terrible.

So.... tl;dr: HOW DO I GET OLD TABS BACK?

Mac updated to version 10.15.7 and now websites appear basic with no colour and elements have black outlines. I have attached screenshot with Chrome on right hand side and appearing normal and on the left is Firefox which is super basic. Does anybody recognise this problem as i am struggling to find any solutions.

When browsing sites the browser seems to be white on white. It happened after an auto update. I can't see some boxes or when I check some boxes. Any help would be great.

firefox crashes after closing every time

These are extremely obnoxious, ruin my productivity and lower my quality of life. There must be a way to disable these? (of course Yahoo! doesn't offer one because it wants to make me click the tab and see their banners).

Yesterday I received update 91.0 of Firefox...normally all goes good.

However, now when I open my setting, the background is black.

When I go to eg Tools > Download...also black.

I have checked all setting, and nothing points to a black theme.

Also my windows setting are correct and not pointing to a black theme.

I am kinda getting annoyed why nowadays all needs to be black themed, I and would like to see it the way it was, bright and not this depressing black.

Please can someone provide advice/instructions how to resolve this?

I don't know if there was an update or what but, suddenly, the Firefox browser is acting strangely. I notice it's showing the lines of each container on a page. (See screenshot.) When I open Twitter on Safari, those container lines are gone. But it's also affecting text color, turning it blue. (See screenshot.) When I open boingboing.net in Safari, the text is in black, as it should be.

It also seems to have slowed, though nothing has changed with my ISP or settings.

What happened? How to resolve?

I have the most recent version of Firefox - 91.0 - on a MacBook running BigSur, version 11.5.2.

After today's update, all websites are mostly now white. Many graphics missing. Restarted FF but not Mac OS Big Sur 11.5.2 since a reboot is what caused update+problem.

Also, not sure if my inability to check the box below "Email me when someone answers the thread" is related?

I have most recent release of Firefox and also just updated MacOS to 11.5.2. After updates the histograms on the Wordpress blog stats page do not display. They display fine on Opera. I did clear cache — that didn't help. I quit Firefox and restarted — that didn't help. Firefox version for Mac version 91.0.1 (64-bit).

I assume this must be a Firefox bug, but am open to suggestions on how to fix the problem.

Also, when I click the checkbox for "Email me when someone answers the thread" it will not accept the check. Irritating.

Hello Support, I am working on the development of a Windows Application (C++, GUI, MFC, Visual Studio 2019 Community). Just a hobby, nothing serious. At a certain point I would like my App to get the URL of an already running Firefox window. I already can get the Window Title of the Firefox Window, but not the URL of the page currently being displayed in that window. I believe the way to do this would be to somehow connect to the process of the Firefox Window, and ask Firefox to provide the current URL. A thorough webserch led me to some old solutions using DDE, but these seem to be no longer supported and discouraged. Could you please point me towards any developer documentation or Firefox Developer Forum where I could learn how to do this with the recent releases of Firefox!

Hello Please HELP, I HATE updating but was forced to by another issue. Now I can't search in the Google window ...it moves to the address bar, where it resists amendments. How can I restore the old way please? Thanks

I like to open the following website link https://mitglied.akademie-zukunft-mensch.com/mitglied/ it opens instead https://shop.akademie-zukunft-mensch.com/mitglied/ with the comment "That page can’t be found." But the link https://mitglied.akademie-zukunft-mensch.com/mitglied/ opens correctly with my android phone and with my old windows pc running an older version of firefox please can you help me Thank you very much for your help

Under import/backup --> restore I can't remove the files. It used to let you do it now its not allowed. I want them gone and to synch with I currently have. It would also be nice to add a feature to edit backup folders and stored files.
