Trying to open kossyderrickent.com I was suspicious of its safety. I was offered the option shown in the attachment. Is this legitimate? I am not familiar with the site and I think it may be unsafe. Pls advise.

Hi, Am backing up a laptop that needs to go overnight to a repair shop and want to wipe it clean for privacy. Will the passwords saved by firefox be saved in the backup as well?

I've also downloaded them to a csv file as an additional precaution, but have no idea how to reload them into 'saved passwords' after the repairs are complete, as no option is provided for that - only the option to import from another browser... Thanks for your help!

PS: also, why does mozilla require a manual login to this support forum when my login is saved in it's own password saver?? It is not auto-filling it as expected.

I'm running FF 111.0.1 on a 64 bit ASUS I tried to get on Ebay.com a couple of days ago and when I used my bookmark to open the site the cursor just goes back and forth and the site never opens up. So, I figured that they were having internet issues and just kept trying. Well, it's still not working so I'm trying to find out why. I have my FF set up for the address bar to be "just that" and a separate search window in the tool bar. After trying all kinds of things that did "not" work, I changed my choice of search engine to "ebay" and when I typed ebay in the search window the sight came up with me all signed on (because I leave myself signed on) and everything seems to be working as normal. But, I don't want "ebay" for my search engine and I don't want to have to sign on to ebay that way. What has happened to cause this and how can it be fixed?

when i search something in google.com most of it is unloaded and i cannot scroll down and on youtube.com i cant scroll down. I dont know what to do

Lately, I've been having the problem with bookmars.

When I want to save my favourite pages to specific folders I created for different areas, I always used the method where you click in panel with www address e.g. https://support.mozilla.org/, the whole address is now selected and I drag that addres to specific folder of mine. When placed, the bookmark was saved to that folder, but in addition to that, Mozila browser also fetched bookmark title with title of the page.

So after drag-and-dropping the link https://support.mozilla.org/ I ended up with bookmark in my folder, that looked like this: "Get Support | Mozilla Support"

Now when I do the same procedure, I just copy the link addres itself. So it ends up like this: "https://support.mozilla.org"

You get the idea. )Where did the feature of fetching titles dissapear? Can it be returned back?

I've been using bookmarks this way (drag-and-drop by mouse to specific folder) since I can remember. And this problem occured just week ago. It helps me to speed up my process faster than using the star icon. And now I dont even know what I saved when I look at my folder and try to make sence of it the next day, because everything I can see is link addresses.

I tried it on many computers and many diferent systems Win10 11 etc and I still get the same problem. I tried it with reinstalling Firefox, with deafult settings, in normal or inkognito mode. Nothing works.

Any help? Can this be fixed?

I've logged in on a brand new installation of macOS (Ventura), but it does not sync my logins, passwords, etc. The settings for the sync are also enabled and it works fine on Windows and Linux. Also tried rebooting, but no luck so far.

Hello I don't have sound on Firefox. I made all points from article mozilla's about trobleshooting with sound, but it still doesn't works. I have sound on others - Chrome, Edge, Opera. I tried also install Firefox to my laptop and it's the same problem. I turned off blocking of sound in settings. What can I do with it? I very like Firefox and don't image to be without it. A few days ago, I tried to log in to yahoo mail, and started getting this after I clicked okay: "Redirecting . . ." (print screen below). Now I get the same problem when I paste links into the search bar. I think this started with the new March 31st update. It isn't just one site or application, which seems to suggest that FF is the problem. https://prnt.sc/dIc_AerJtR7g The tab gets stuck there.I cannot view my mail on ff at all, but I can on my phone, probably because I wasn't forced to log out and back in. I cannot paste links. FF is basically unusable for me right now except for sites that I use frequently.

Hello, so i have a hp laptop running on windows 11. I have 2 different wifi sources here at my home, one of them is a DSL zyxel modem from century link & the other is a Verizon internet gateway that runs off of cell towers. I recently logged into both of them to configure some of the settings etc. and in the past when i only had the DSL wifi, i would log into it via file explorer>network>network interface and then select the router & would automatically be taken to the login page. For the verizon wifi, i had to go into the browser searchbar ,while being connected to that network, and enter the default IP address of 192.168.0.1 and it would take me to the login page. I first logged into the DSL network and then for the first time ever, into the verizon one, and now when i try to login to the DSL network via my traditional method & also by inputting its IP address into the searchbar (both routers have the same default address to access setup), it takes me to the verizon login page regardless if im connected to it or not. If i input the DSL modems IP address into Edge browser while connected to it, it takes me to the correct login page for that network which leads me to believe that somehow something is messed up with my firefox browser. Ive already tried going into the saved passwords and deleting the saved verizon login info. Any other ideas as to what it could be? Thanks, JD

Hello. I un-installed Microsoft Edge and Office 365 and now Firefox has stopped working (on another computer not this one).

This is the same problem that someone reported in 2021, but that thread has been archived.

The advice then was to re-install Firefox and to download Visual C++ \ Visual Studio files ( especially VCRuntime1401.dll).

My problem is that I don't have a browser on that computer, I am completely cut off from the internet and can't download anything.

Is it possible to download the necessary files on this computer and transfer them to the one that has the problem? Thanks.

Suddenly my email from yahoo (my address==> [edited] @att.net) is GOING INTO TRASH. What'up ? I made NO changes to filters.

Hi, I don't know why, but my firefox's console suddenly started highlight dom elements only with borders, without background colors for padding and margin as usual. How to get them back? Attaching 2 images: one from firefox, with current boder-highlights, and sadly one from chrome, because firefox doesn't have anymore, with background highlights, just as an example of how, circa, was FF before.

How to get back?

Hi, I disabled several options in About:Config, and a feature previously disappeared. When I pressed the scroll button in the diamond, it opened a tag and moved to it automatically. Whatever you do with the current tag, I want it. Please help me.

When I'm on a webpage and drag the URL onto the Bookmark Toolbar it's showing up as an URL instead of the page name like it used to.

For example: If I was on this page: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35895322/sources-cowboys-trade-texans-wr-brandin-cooks

Before the last update if I dragged that URL to the Bookmark Toolbar it would say: "Cowboys trade for Texans WR Brandin Cooks"

After the update it just shows the URL.

This makes it VERY hard to remember what each bookmark is.

Can anyone help me to bring this back to using the page name instead of the URL on this Toolbar?

For the past few months I've been starting to have some trouble with other sites that I go onto. For example, on Google if I try to search something that has 'a' in it, it ignores the rest of my query and searches up everything leading up to the A. Even just pressing A it's almost like it's acting as a mouse-click, but this problem only seems to be occurring on Firefox, nothing else.

What's going on?
