Hi,Why is download showing up on nearly all sites I go to & HOW do I get rid of it permantently I can close it by hitting the X beside the Download,but it Should not be there Thanks Darryl

Help! I just installed the latest Firefox 120.0 and I have a huge problem:

I work a lot with the address bar. I type a few characters and choose a URL from my history that I need to work with, then modify that URL by typing or pasting, to get the address I need. Now, I can't do that. Either I accept the full URL suggested or I must type a completely new one. That's a huge obstacle for me. I absolutely need to work with, i.e. select and modify, URLs that I have previously visited.

Please tell me there is a way to do this!

Using Ancestry.com for genealogical research. The option exists to view other trees with comparable information. Works in Chrome, Vivaldi and Opera. Works in Firefox Developer. Will not work in FF 100.0.2. I've tried the usual troubleshooting - safe mode, enabling/disabling DNSPrefetch. Example URL http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/PersonMatch.aspx?tid=44861136&pid=162378642007&src=m which should display snapshots of other trees containing the same people. Only on Firefox, I am redirected to my homepage on the website. I have read of others having the same problem. Any fix suggestions? Thanks.

I always use the current Firefox on two Macintosh browsers running OS 10.14.6.

Recently (in only one of the computers), if I download a file, a pane containing recent downloads opens in the upper left-hand quadrant. This is distinct from the downloads portion of the "Library" area, and gets in the way of my ability to use Firefox efficiently.

I can't seem to find a way to keep this pane from repeatedly opening up as I download things. Can anyone help?

I've installed Inter font from Google fonts (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Inter) on my windows, but as you can see in the image, the font is not displaying correctly in Firefox.

Firefox isn't loading anything, not even the about:configs page, this happened out of nowhere, i tried reinstalling it, restarting it but nothing is solving the problem, im using the lastest version btw

I've disabled this for my google account. So when I search from google.com this behavior doesn't happen. But when I type anything into my address bar on Firefox to search, the first suggestions are from my search history.

I don't want to delete my search history.

I often use my search history to find specific things that I need, but didn't bookmark at the time. I need my search history to be saved. I just don't want to automatically receive suggestions based on it.

Is there any way to turn this off? Even with an extension or something?

In the bookmark-bar in my Firefox-installation contains the soft-button for the function "Import bookmarks". I do not need this function always showed in the bookmark-bar. How can i remove it ?

Please my firefox appears to have crashed, or is not working how can i fix it. As i try to open firefox document a dialogue box appears saying that either the firefox is not designed to run or that i should reinstall firefox

After installing Update 123.0.1, History and Bookmarks no longer show up in the search bar even though they're still checked in my Search settings. What could be causing this? Thanks!

UPDATE: when I use the troubleshooting method, i.e, WHAT HAPPENS is it appears to be trying to work, but it's on again, off again, with more than one extension appearing to be the problem. Very mystifying. The only time the problem is completely fixed appears to be when I close all the extensions. (So far.)

HELP!!!!

When I open YouTube, the search videos all show an image. Then when I select one, for the last two days now, that ("front page) image is gone - although the video plays OK.

When I us my Chrome browser the video I've selected begins playing the instant I open the video; even when I've opened the link in a new tab.

I generally go here https://www.tafesa.edu.au/ and select 'learn' and log in there. Now I just get a window saying 'Taking you to your organisation's log in page' and circling dots and it stays there forever. That window is, I think, from Tafesa. So it sounds like a Tafesa problem.

BUT: I use Edge and it all goes smoothly and I log in. Which sounds like Firefox is not handling something from that site.

Anyone got any ideas on what i could do to get Firefox working on this?

All my menu texts are so TINY now, that I can't read them, but the browser page is SO WIDE that I can't ever see a whole page and I have to scroll from side to side to read things, which is a ROYAL PAIN as I miss seeing a lot of things. No one can seem to help. I tried the limited percentage things, 67% used to work but now that is too big and when I go smaller I can't read ANY of the text, it is TOO TINY! I can't do my work! The screen shot won't paste on here.

Firefox starts but when I type into the search box nothing happens. My RoboForm link does not work and neither do the bookmarks. I have had to resort to using Edge to get onto the internet. Jim Klein

I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows.
