I would like you to demonstrate how I can do this through Firefox settings. I remember having these widgets activated a while back, but they went away after I reset all my settings. I've spent tens of minutes looking through all Firefox settings and tab customization to no avail. It is important to note that I am in the US using Firefox on a Windows 11 device.

I've been relying on the checklist widget - but it has disappeared, along with my other timer & weather widgets. I see no way to get them back, either in Firefox settings or in the home page settings either.

Update changed my homepage on Firefox so I have no favorite icons!!! Until yesterday there were several icons onmy Firefox homepage (Amazon, email, Facebook, and others) so that I could just click on one and get where I wanted to go - quickly - now you have changed everything! Please restore my Firefox homepage as it was 48 hours ago!

Hello. When I open a new tab page, all 6 panels below keep scrolling right like their not loading correctly. I have tried everything to make this go away since it is very distracting. Any ideas of how to fix?

I'm trying to remove the "recommended stories" section of the new tab page. Using the pencil button, I can toggle off the "recommended stories" button. But it doesn't stay off! After toggling off, if I open a new tab or even relaunch Firefox, the toggle is back on.

You just made an update that added a bunch of random garbage to the new tab page under a "stories" widget that I neither want or need. You included a setting that allegedly turns it off, except that it keeps turning itself back on no matter how many times I turn it off or where I access the setting from. One of the major reasons I switched to Firefox was because it didn't push things at me, like trying to decide which news stories were important for me to see the way Windows and Google are constantly doing. Firefox isn't a news source, it doesn't employ journalists, it's a browser. All I want it to do is open up websites and save bookmarks and if you're going to keep adding all this extra garbage cluttering up my new tab page, I'm going to use another browser that doesn't.

My Firefox just updated and I'm now receiving the recommended stories (along with the widgets and recent activity.) when I open a New Tab. I was able to disable the widgets and activity and I see the place where I can turn off the Stories, but they are not going away.

In the "Customize" menu accessible via the pencil icon on the New Tab page, toggling Stories off does not make them go away; reloading the page, the toggle is re-enabled.

In the general Settings menu, accessible via the hamburger menu and under "Home and startup," I have Stories ("Exceptional content curated by the Firefox family") toggled off. The toggle does not reset, but the stories still display.

How can I fix this? Thank you all very much in advance.

Hi, I believe this is some kind of bug/issue after the latest browser update (as I've quite literally never had this issue before). I like my launch page not to be cluttered with nonsense, no widgets, no activity, just my standard pinned shortcuts and the google search bar. However, after the latest update, "stories" have been on and have stayed on (despite altering all the settings that should get rid of it altogether). Even after turning it off, it appears it turns itself back on immediately. I don't want to see this junk and shouldn't have to, no one should, I even went to the trouble of blocking all topics in hopes the thing would just vanish. It did not. I hoped to report this to Mozilla more directly but couldn't find a meaningful bug report option. If anyone else has encountered this or if anyone has a true solution, I'd like to hear it, thank you.

hello On the browser's home page, because the wallpaper is used, the search tool does not allow the image to be seen properly. How can I change the location of the search tool so that the full image can be seen? Thanks - Heidari
