when I open a page it transfer to another page that is written:

Dear Firefox user, You are today’s lucky visitor for: July 24, 2022 Please complete this short survey and to say “Thank You” we’ll give you a chance to get an Apple iPhone 11 Pro!"

And I can't open the page that I want, and this sometimes happen and sometimes not, what should I do.

Please god help me. I am trying to change my password and it tells me my old password is incorrect. I sign in using the only password I have with Firefox, and use the same one to try and change it, but it keeps giving me this error message. I'm about to put my face through the monitor.

Since Firefox version 103.0 was installed, it's no more possible to login to personal area of site www.repubblica.it.

It was always possible up to version 102.

Other logins work fine.

Recently, text is missing when I try to look at a document on a web site. And using Spectrum for my ISP, when I open their web mail with Firefox there are unusual symbols over the selections in the menu bar,

Firefox 92.0.1 (64-bit) Firefox seems to open two connections whenever it connects to a url.

I have a local web server that only allows a single connection at a time.

When I enter localhost:5409 as the address firefox immediately opens two connections to the port. The first connection sends no data whatsoever. The GET request is sent out the second connection. This is not useful.

I think if you want to open two connections the GET request should go out on the first connection.

Perhaps the above behaviour is by design but I think it is a problem.

Running ROCK SOLID Windows 7 SP 1 64 bit. Last week updated 64 bit FF from 88xx to 94.0.2. EVERYTHING was working fine with FF 88 except for videos on CNN.

After update when I right click in FF the small Context Menu freezes. Subsequent right clicks launches the same Menu. See attached image. When I mess around with scrolling they go away.

Also, when I'm going back and forth between a FF web page and a file in another app to cut and paste text or images, half of one or the other screens hang.

I'm an old geek and I did ALL of the recommendations including a complete clean uninstall and clean reinstall of FF 94.0.2... I've spent hours trying to solve the problem...

I'm having NO PROBLEMS with Chrome or Opera or any other SW on this PC.

BTW, DON'T EVEN SUGGEST GOING TO Windows 10 or 11. I have 10 but I use 7 on this PC for a lot of reasons.

Like I said, problems began after 94.0.2 update.

I'm using the vinyl theme by baliclem and would like to report an issue. my monitor settings are 4K x 2K 3840 x 2160. The vinyl theme doesn't apply the theme color to the top left corner of my firefox browser. The back arrow button still functions but is almost invisible. I'm assuming the theme isn't designed to stretch across the entire browser frame. I've corrected the issue by reducing my monitor dimensions. Is there another way to stretch the theme so the toolbar color is consistent across the top of my browser window?

This is something that you should report directly to the independent artist of that theme directly through the add-ons site you downloaded it from.

From what you are saying, the image file has not been made large enough for wider screens.

great response. I downloaded the theme via Firefox since it was offered on the Firefox theme page. How do I contact a firefox theme developer? The theme in question is "vinyl" by Baliclem.

I lost my passwords & logins when FF suggested I refresh!, which I did. No errors, Does it keep a backup copy somewhere? Bookmarks are still there,..>!

WIN 7 PRO, FF 95.0, I am a techie, but I can't SYNCH either from another networked computer!

I just want to make a comment about the fine selection of pocket articles that you allow us to read and save. Thank you. I do wish, however, that you would eliminate the articles from the sources that require a subscription, such as The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. As an alternative, require them to allow viewing of any of their articles posted in Pocket. It is very frustrating to see the teaser, only to be denied access. I might add that I do subscribe to the NY Times Crossword app, but that gives me no access to other parts of the newspaper app. i know they are in business to make a profit, but there is a greed factor here too, in my opinion. Thanks for your consideration, and keep up the good work.

hello all- When Sync job cycles, what is hierarchy determining which component version (Bookmarks, logins, etc) is applied to profiles on other computers?

Two computers, A and B. Bookmark file on A last revised two days ago. Bookmark file on B last revised 60 days ago. I need all profile components on B to match A. Essentially B is updated to A's version.

How does synch determine which version is the 'Master' used to overwrite the versions on other computers?

I saw in another thread that Synch uses latest modification date to set priority. This would seem to be the most logical criterion. But I want to be sure before cycling Sync.

(Spent 10 minutes searching threads before posting this question. There were some oblique references hinting at prioritization, but not an absolute statement describing prioritization.) thanks!
