This extension, even if it is Firefox's extension, I do not want. It is hindering my ability to get my schoolwork done your browser that I like to use. I really do not want to have to make the complete switch to Edge. I should not have to add this extension that I do not want.

I've recently encountered a curious issue with my Firefox browser (Firefox version 102.0, Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.25145.1011). At seemingly random times it will freeze for between two and five minutes (roughly). UI elements become completely unresponsive and the cursor does not update when moving over the browser window. The window will not minimize. Yet, Windows Task Manager does not report the application as being unresponsive. While never a common problem, any freezes in the past would eventually cause the Windows Task Manager to identify it as unresponsive.

I have disabled "recommended performance settings" and hardware acceleration to no avail. Everything seems perfectly normal immediately before and after the freezes, and I've yet to identify how I can trigger them. I do not recall having made any changes to my browser before the freezes started occurring, though multiple Windows updates have taken place since then. If I'm too impatient to wait I will end the Firefox processes via Windows Task Manager and restart it so I can return to my tabs without having cookies deleted. I have 13 plugins mainly covering privacy/security concerns. Is there some sort of debug tool I can engage to see what's occupying Firefox while it's frozen? I've just found the Firefox Task Manager, and will see if it can offer any additional information during/after the freezes.

For awhile now whenever I visit Kickstarter, I never get the full page to load. I mainly notice it in the header where the info for the campaign information doesn't show on Firefox. I've tried playing around with my widgets and protection to see if that would allow the page to fully load, but nothing has worked.

Hello! Hoping someone can help with this new (to me) issue. I've searched and can't seem to find any articles/threads.

When I open the wifi menu on my laptop, I also see a media player featuring a video I watched three days ago (image attached). I've used my computer several times since then and didn't notice it. It also doesn't appear to be functional, as when I click play, nothing happens.

Is there a setting I'm missing to get this to go away and to prevent it from coming back again?

Over the past few weeks, any time I copy a link, whether it's an email address or a URL, from within any page while using Firefox, FF will freeze? Pause? not respond.. for 5 - 15 seconds. I've not done a reset yet.. Windows 11, 16GB RAM, 2GB Video, religiously updated and maintained laptop

I upgraded Firefox, created an account and installed Simple Tabs. I changed a few things in settings. I now have to login into Facebook every time and I cannot post anything. How do I fix it? When the window pops up the little icon circle just keeps going around and around.

Videos don't play in Firefox after updating to Windows 11. They just perpetually load. Playback works fine on Google Chrome, I'm not sure what could be causing this. I tried reinstalling, disabling all extensions, clearing cache, etc. and nothing has worked.

At my job, they can see the title of any tab that is opened in a browser. They log that.

Is there any configuration in the browser to avoid that ?

I tried tab anonymizer plugin, but it just rename the tab .... so the original site name is logged too.... ';(

Fo sure I can use a vpn, but even so they will pick me using the tab name log ;(

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

Well, I guess I have to part from Mozilla. For a long while it was so good, but lately ...

I am running Windows 11 Build 25151 on a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 7. With the last several Builds when selecting an option from a pop-up the FireFox window just stops for up to several minutes, no error message. In other cases cannot select an option necessary continue. In several cases the continue button at the bottom of the popup is not available. I am running FireFox 102.0.1 (64 bit). In most cases, copy address from FF to Microsoft Edge, edge is able to continue.

Not sure if a FireFox or Windows problem.

Please tell me how to fix this problem: ever since I allowed Firefox to upgrade, I cannot load pages for banks/credit card accounts. I can do it on my Apple phone and IPad. So I believe it is a Firefox problem. I prefer using my desk top computer to pay bills. Please help me sort this out. I will change browsers if you can't help me. I'm not being snarky, just very upset that your upgrade did this to me. I am a 81 years young senior female, so please don't get to techy with the answer, keep it simple for this old brain. I would like to request a feature that will automatically collapse any add-on not active in the correct tab to fold back into the overflow arrow, simple as that
