The interface is terrible, it makes me completely unwilling to use the browser. Why make the tabs merge without any separation????!! It's disgusting!!

How can I change the tabs' appearance so they appear as individual tiles instead of a continuous view?

Is there a feature or add-on that will allow me to see all of my tabs, about 60, in a double menu instead of crammed, forcing me to use the horizontal arrows to scroll? I'd prefer to see them all at once and have them accessed immediately.

Maybe it is my spiritual guides because i obsses and have OCD and have too many tabs. But i started having tabs get deleted and i have no tabs on re-launch, tried to check, re-check this. I Am not sure if to reinstall because i don't want to lose passwords or setting/history (i don't remember now it should be saved) but usually reinstalling doesn't solve anything for me anyways...

I didn't install any new extensions when it started happening!

It doesn't happen every time so it is hard to troubleshoot, i cannot use browser with safe mode. I might test it couple times.

All my tabs (I think they're tabs - on the menu bar just below the main menu at the top left of the home screen - have disappeared. I checked history, hoping to replace them and the returned. But now they've vanished again. Also, when FF opens, email screen displayed is 'primary' and it says there are no primary messages. I've always used 'all mail' so I go to that site (which is in a folder on the menu which is below the address bar) and click on it to get to mail.

How can I restore the missing tabs which were on the menu bar just above the address bar?

ich habe ein Problem. Beim gestrigen Hochfahren meines Rechners und Start von Firefox war meine ganze Struktur weg.

Tabs und Gruppen waren futsch und somit wurden alle darin gespeicherten Seiten ohne Struktur angezeigt. :-(

Wie kann ich die Gruppen wieder öffnen?

Online habe ich hierzu nichts gefunden.

When there are many tabs open, the displayed tab line re-centers automatically obscuring the open tab. Is there a way to disable this mechanism, or to insist that the open tab is kept visible? The current mechanism that obscures the open tab is user unfriendly.

I love having the ability to group some of my tabs but I'm wondering if it's possible to create "subgroups" of tabs inside of a "group". For instance, it would be very confusing & even chaotic to have one tab group named "Computers" that has tabs for sites where I buy computers/parts/software, sites where I go to for support for my hardware/software issues, & sites where where I can read reviews about the up & coming new hardware/software. However, the chaos would go away if I could have 3 tab subgroups (Shopping, Support, & News) UNDER a "top level" tab named "Computers".

From what I've been able to find on the Firefox website, this capability is not yet available but I'm wondering if it's something that's currently in development. If not, I would like to suggest that it be seriously considered. I realize that some people could take this kind of capability to the extreme, with hundreds of tabs organized using multiple "sub-tiers" & trying to develop something to support the extreme cases would be a nightmare. However, the ability to even two levels (groups & 1 level of subgroups) would be a HUGE improvement over the current situation.

I use Firefox on all of my computers and they all have a plus sign next to an open tab to open a new tab, but on this computer I have to right click on the 5tab bar to open a new tab - how can I get the plus sign to show for easy tab opening?

I've been using the expanding side bar feature for my tabs, and a few times now it has gotten stuck closed (won't expand at all on hover) or open (blocking the settings bar which expands behind it, and there seems to be only one way to resolve it - closing out of the whole window and re-opening). This is frustrating and not great for productivity as I need to toggle between tabs frequently for my work.

This has happened a few times and confused me but I figured it out tonight. I had a private window open and a regular window open and closed the regular one. When I reopened the regular one all of my pinned tabs were gone. This should be fixed, Firefox should differentiate between the windows and stop closing tabs on the regular window if it's closed before the private one. Kind of an odd thing.

I was able to recover my tabs with a json file thankfully but haven't been able to do so before as I had opened and closed multiple windows trying to figure out where the pinned tabs had gone and the "previous.json" had changed to those new open tabs. It might also be nice to have a few "previous.json" files be created instead of the single one for instances like this.

When I start MF, all tabs I have used before open. Good! But one of these tabs are not in use. That it why I want to close it for ever.

The option to delete it for ever is not available.

I have vertical tabs enabled and the "expand when hovering mouse" option is activated (see screenshot). However, the latter functionality tends to glitch at some point in basically every session. I can't tell if a specific action triggers it, so far it seems pretty random. The glitch is that either the tabs are expanded and won't collapse, or the opposite: they're collapsed and refuse to expand when I point at them. Is this feature maybe still experimental? or something? I'm running Firefox 149.0b5 DEveloper Edition on Garuda Linux (Arch based).

I have vertical tabs turned on. Say i want to watch a movie, i press F11 or fullscreen to open it fullscreen. It makes the whole page fullscreen, but the vertical tabs remain still on the left. I want that fixed so that vertical tabs are hidden when its fullscreen.
