I am in Illinois, but I get the message that I am not in Illinois. How do I correct this situation?

My computer/browser always thinks I'm in Atlanta when I'm actually in Alabama. How can I fix this?

Firefox, my preferred browser, doesn't recognize my location. I'm in Toronto, ON Canada & it consistently identifies me as being in the Ottawa area.
