I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, made sure my show bookmarks all the time was on, have been Googling and Googling and reaching out for several hours and cannot find out what happened to all our often-visited sites located under our url bar. I have done everything I know to do. I have tried dragging and dropping and it will not allow me to do that. I never had to sign into anything. Firefox just opened up and there everything happened to be. There is a square with an arrow through it that says Import bookmarks where my bookmarks were on the bookmark toolbar. I can close and open the bookmark toolbar, so I know it is there and open, but there is nothing in it. I have restarted and started my computer. This used to be easy. Right-click a site saved in your bookmark and drag it to the bookmark toolbar or there was a choice to move to or pin to bookmark toolbar. It had to be easy because I do not do complicated. Help, please. I don't have that many more years to live and I don't want to spend them frustrated :O Also, when I open Firefox, I see no paddlock or shield in the search bar. I see both now when I'm in the support page, but not upon the opening of Firefox, which I consider my home page for Firefox browser.

FIx the update so I can get to the controls of the AdBlock extension. No list appears when either right or left clicking the "puzzle piece". Default is to temp block many website functions after restart so having the control disappear and in a place it cannot be found means I will need to abandon FIreFox as my main browser. Very sad that this last update has killed that functionality.

Every time I go to use programs on my computer while on a Firefox session, when I return to Firefox, the menu that appears when I'd typically press the Alt key drops down. Every time. The only way I can get it to stop is by exiting out of the session entirely and reopening it. There is no option on my Firefox settings that can help me disable the action.

I have not installed or changed anything in my settings, it began happening suddenly, and has become an interruption in my workflow. Any ideas on what might have caused or what I can do to fix it?

There is a "BOX" that one can check-off that shows up for that purpose and I cannot seem to be able to have that option? Maybe it is a software problem only for You Tube tech to ask? I have checked several videos on You Tube and cannot seem to find out why? I am also 76+ years old which does not help!!!! Thanks

Long-standing problem with Firefox: when printing some webpages with text on letter-size paper, the last sentence on a page is sliced off, with the remaining slice printing on the next page.

I put the same URL in the Opera browser, and across several scale factors, it breaks the page cleanly without slicing through thelast sentence.

A fix is long overdue.

Not sure I picked the right subject. Bookmarks is what I want to talk about. My bookmark files are all gone!! Am I going to get them back or what? What can I do to get them back? I really need them!

Whenever my laptop starts up,firefox with all of my tabs always starts up with it. When i rose up earlier in the day and started up my laptop firefox with all my tabs opened up as normal,but this evening everything is gone. I had at least 20 tabs open and they were all important. There was no option to recover the tabs and this isn't the first time this has happened,this is at least the third time that this has happened after the last year and a bit. This is incredibly annoying and frustrating. Is there even any point in asking the community how this can be resolved?

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 11 and installed Firefox onto drive C: of the 1 TB SSD. I then decided to partition the SSD into three drives and put Firefox on the E: drive. After I partitioned the SSD and uninstalled Firefox, I downloaded the Firefox installer from Mozilla, and ran it, but it somehow perceives that I had had Firefox previously installed and only gives me the option of re-installing Firefox at the original (C:) drive location. There is no longer an option in the installer to change the installation location. How can I get around this and re-install Firefox on my E: drive instead of my C: drive?

Why am I constantly getting the following message from Bitdefender every time I log into Firefox - "firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to tracker.ads-radiantfusion.co. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a ...." Please let me know if it is safe to exclude this warning. Best Regards, Mrybos

I used to be able to download from these two web sites Israbox and Farescd.com, but lately it said data could not be verified. Sometimes it allowed but other times it won't . Please help. Thanks

One of the things I like most about Firefox is the home page with 'tiles' for my most used websites. Since the last upgrade some of my tiles have the website logos but most do not. Is there a way I can fix this?

After trying suggested "fixes" still unable to get bookmarks restored on my Firefox account, and can't add any new ones either. Should I reinstall Firefox?

When I am on some webpages, and want to copy and paste a paragraph, of course I highlight it first -- but as of a couple of days ago, the links to pop-up boxes on the page will not highlight. If I go to the same page with Chrome, there is no problem. I can highlight links to other webpages, it is just the ones to pop-up boxes. I have checked and this problem is not machine-specific. I am on a laptop and I checked our desktop and it has the same problem. Perhaps the recent update changed something? I have attached a screenshot of a page from Ancestry.com with the problem -- on the left I have tried to highlight the whole thing, and, as you can see, the links are not highlighted, and if I copy and paste, the links do not work. When a PDF has been edited and needs to be saved again, the save dialog does not show the location of the current PDF, but rather the location where the last PDF was saved. I couldn't find a way to change this!

I have private browsing disabled on Firefox but there is a way to still use it via Ctrl +H , right click an item and there is dropdown of "open in private window" and it works. However I have no other way to open private windows since I blocked it. Also when I Ctrl+T in the private browser, it says this is disabled.

Therefore this option in Ctrl+H right click menu should not be there and I don't recall seeing it before. Maybe a bug with a recent Firefox update.

Does anyone know what has happened or how to remove this option?

I'd like to change a Payment Method, but I am unable to find it in Settings.

I found instructions to look for it under Autofill in "General" or "Privacy & Security".

But the only references I find are for "Autofill" in "Import browser data" and for "Payment" in "Sync settings".
