Firefox says that it blocked known fingerprint trackers from two sites that I really do not believe had them.

If I go back to the sites later and check, it says they have no trackers. I don't really understand how this works but if they have trackers wouldn't Firefox have to keep blocking them?

How can I fix this

Hi, when in tracking protection settings, the difference between major and minor page corrections checkbox choices isn't explained. A referral url info button would help alleviate. Yes, they do maintain blacklists for their own internal justice system, which I discovered using self-taught low level Linux forensics to find the bootkit methods they locked into my bios. No one wants to touch that live wire and it's now SOP industry standard.

the login never completes and there are messages at the bottom of the screen that it is waiting for various sites like ips.navigatorixa mail.com if I wait Firefox eventually times out with site not responding

I am getting a strange message on adult pages I open on Firefox. It says; "opt out signal honored". I checked with the site owner and they told me it is a function of my browser. What is it?

I have been a dedicated user and promoter of Fire Fox and Mozilla; but recently getting very frustrated, when following all directions, cannot STOP Firefox from blocking specific or ALL websites; should be given choices, should be clearly explained and yes, your systems have said click on Shield, but that DOES nothing!

Would appreciate a fix in details by people running the system, and know that suggestion will be simple fix and clearly understood. Thanks.

I use Firefox web browser for all of my web browsing. For years now, I have configured my Firefox web browser with STRICT Enhanced Tracking Protection enabled. As a result, ads have not appeared on any of the website web pages that I visit. For privacy concerns, I prefer not to use an ad blocker add on.

Within the past week or two, ads now appear on web pages that I visit, despite STRICT Enhanced Tracking Protection enabled. I have not made any configuration changes to my Firefox web browser, other than installing the customary updates from Firefox.

Currently, my Firefox web browser version is 152.0.6 (64-bit). It is my hunch that one of the Firefox updates I received in the past week or two is the source of the ads now appearing on website web pages that I visit. Has anyone else encountered this same problem?

Please advise if there is a solution/fix that I could apply to my Firefox web browser to restore the ad blocking that STRICT Enhanced Tracking Protection used to provide me with.

Since upgrading Firefox I am having problems with web sites i.e. banking where I have never had problems before, buttons no longer work or refuse to enable the following script, meaning I have to use Microsoft Edge to get anything done. I'm led to believe this problem is caused by Enhanced Tracking Protection, and having turned off Ad Blockers this would seem to be the case. Firefox advice is not to turn off Enhanced Tracking Protection and to visit a page to see those sites blocked, well I'm not doing that am I. I'd rather not switch to another browser as I've been using it since the early days of Mozilla but if this continues I may have to.

I cannot log in to Amazon.ca using Firefox. When I input my email address to Amazon, it says I look like a new customer so let's set up an account. I am not a new customer and my account on Amazon works fine if I sign in through the Chrome browser. I have tried refreshing Firefox and also tried using Troubleshoot Mode, but the problem with Firefox persists. Is there a fix? Firefox must be blocking some type of data that Amazon requires but even white-listing the website doesn't seem to work.

I've suddenly had an issue crop up when trying to access Twitter on Firefox. I get an error message that says "Firefox’s Enhanced Tracking Protection (Strict Mode) is known to cause issues on x.com", but the problem is Im not using Strict Mode. I have standard protection on.

I was getting a frame displaying that embedded content was blocked from x, instagram, and others. I clicked the allow routine and got the embed. Now it's all over the place, scroll, scroll, scroll, blah, blah. How do I reenable the blocking?

Morning.....I subscribe to PennLive.com (part of the Patriot News group in PA) and have a paid subscription. For several years, there were no ads with a paid subscription. I also have set up on Firefox a custom anti-tracker which blocks cookies, ads and the like. it works on most sites. However, on Penn Live I am getting all sorts of ads jumping around many of which are just plain gross. Ads for belly and arm fat (with pictures), drinks for brain health etc. How do I fix this? What other protections do I need to add on Firefox? This needs to stop and contacting Penn Live has not made a difference. Thanks.
