The subject line of replies to email messages are preceded with Aw: instead of Re:. Aw: appears to be the German language version of Re:, but my language is set to English as best as I can determine. Forwarded email are preceded with Fw: as normal. My other email (Yahoo mail) does not have this problem. I do not see anything other than the Subject line Aw: that looks like it is in another language. If I use a different browser (I usually use Firefox,) the same problem occurs so I do not think it is a browser setting. It only happens in my mail.com account so I do not think it is a global Windows setting. This problem started several months ago -- I have been using mail.com for many years without this problem so it appears to be caused by a mail.com update. Thanks.

Hi everyone,I’m hoping to get some insight into a frustrating issue I’ve encountered since updating to Firefox 156.0 (64-bit).

Prior to this update, clicking the "Learn More" bar on a Facebook Reels advertisement would consistently open the advertiser's website in a new tab. Since the update, this behavior has broken:

Overlays instead of new tabs: Clicking "Learn More" now frequently opens a contact form or internal Facebook page directly over the ad, rather than launching an external tab.

Instant tab crashes/disappearing tabs: On certain advertisements (for example, Subaru Australia), Firefox attempts to trigger a new tab, but the tab immediately closes and disappears roughly one second later.

I only click these links when I am genuinely interested in a product (like shopping for a new car), and I prefer to review them in a separate tab.

Because this was working perfectly right up until the Firefox 156.0 release, I am trying to narrow down the root cause. Could a default setting have changed in the new Firefox update (such as strict popup blocking or tracking protection stripping ad parameters), or is this a simultaneous coding change made by Facebook to force users to stay on their platform?

Suddenly Start Page has become my default browser when I open Firefox. Duck Duck Go has always been my default browser. I did not download Start Page. I don't want Start Page. My PC Win 11 is set to use Duck Duck go as the default browser. Why is this happening?

Clicking a tab to activate it often just closes or mutes it by mistake because the area is so small.

Just make them the same size as on the top bar. It doesn't matter if the text is vertical.

I’m still unable to access Newsmax articles in Firefox. I am getting this error:

“You don't have permission to access this resource on this server.”

The important detail is that Newsmax works normally in Microsoft Edge on the same computer and the same internet connection, so this does not appear to be an IP or general connectivity problem. The problem appears to be specific to Firefox.

I contacted support yesterday but did not receive a response. Could you please have your technical team look into the Akamai/Firefox access denial associated with the reference number above?
