I'm using Firefox esr, the latest version 149.0.2. Since this update, I can no longer load the videos on NPR.org's home page. Something pops up, but then the wheel/circle thingie just goes round and round, and never loads the video.

My ad blocker was already off for this site. I've tried restarting Firefox in Troubleshooting mode, and changing the various security settings mentioned in this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-common-audio-and-video-issues#w_check-some-firefox-settings, such as adding it to the "Allow popups" exceptions (never necessary before) and other settings. I've reloaded the page multiple times, restarted Firefox, etc.

Can anyone suggest anything else to try?

so...firefox veryfing my traffic recently..maybe to see if i'm human? idk but problem is when i go to a new tab it shows my ip...and i would like that not to happend...i mean what if i'm live while browsing...that is not normal..wanna verify my traffic okay..make a toggleable eye button where i can see or not see my ip so that if am browsing live it doesn't cause my ip to be public?

I have very often issues with Firefox/Captcha. Captcha is not recognized by GFirefox, and the communication with the website using Captcha is blocked. It is very irritating. When it won't be fixed I need to move to another browser

Сделайте окно проверки, если не можете реализовать, что бы человек прочитал сообщение и НЕ закрыл обычный режим ДО закрытия безопасного? Почему другие то могут?

My security suite is Norton 360. I refreshed FF and would like to place (as before) an icon in the address bar (to the left of puzzle piece) for the password manager extension. The extension is installed. Please help.

I recently set up an ex-Win10 PC as a Linux media player and was delighted it came with Firefox. I created a separate profile on my Win11 PC for use on the media PC. In this profile I have a few stored bookmarks, log on IDs * passwords, for sites such as BBC iplayer etc.

I did eventually manage to load it on the media PC but when I went back to my Win11 PC I couldn't find my original Firefox account. When I tried to switch accounts, it wanted to load all my original bookmarks etc and combine them in the new profile.

It's now evident that I didn't realise the difference between accounts and profiles (and I'm still somewhat confused). I can't find any clear help on how to switch between accounts and profiles. Why am I finding it so difficult? Perhaps Firefox is being too smart for me.

How do I install a PREVIOUS version of Firefox? I had version 149, and it auto updated on the 7'th. After that update, the problem began. The problem is, something in that update broke google maps as it's used on Realtor.com. It's impossible to drag the map with the mouse, I can zoom in or out with the scroll wheel, but then the area I want to look at is off the screen and I can't drag it back into view.

I downloaded version 149.0 and closed Firefox and tried to install it. BUT it starts, says it's checking space requirements and such, then the installer just stops... because version 149.0.2 is installed. I don't want to uninstall it because that'll wipe out all the settings I have and I'll have to redo every da*** thing from scratch.

I don't have time to wait weeks, months or years for enough people to report this bug and then developers fix the bug and roll out an update for it. I need to fix it now, tonight. And the only way I know to do that is to install the previous WORKING version of it.

Could someone please tell me how to force the installer to install version 149.0 WITHOUT having to uninstall version 149.0.2 and then having to redo every fricking thing...

The developers really should have a ROLLBACK utility in the Settings so that when something in an update breaks the functionality, all a user has to do is click the ROLLBACK button and boom, it reinstalls the previous version without having to jump through hoops to do it.

I do not have this problem in Chrome or any other browser, it's specific to Firefox. I do not like using Chrome or the other browsers I have. I much prefer to use Firefox. Someone please help with this, please!

After upgrading to 149.0.2 (64-bit), when starting FF or opening an new tab, the preferred URL is not loaded. It is configured in Settings/Home/New Windows and Tabs All previuos FF versions were OK with the same URl (https://search.yahoo.com/web/advanced)

I did the profile thing and there's only one blank profile showing.

I did the CMD prompt -P and there is only Default showing.

This new upgrade has destroyed everything

Gmail inbox not opening in Firefox. I can access google maps, voice, search. just not gmail. can access gmail from chrome. the inbox link gives me google help page. I can access gmail inbox in FF private window but not in regular FF. Please help.

Where are profiles and bookmarks and search history stored on my computer..

Maybe I can manually recover data, especially history and passwords.

Otherwise it's easier to just use Chrome
