Firefox is putting me in indefinite timeouts. WTH?!

It has suddenly decided to create a two hour timeout, which is now going on 24 hours and counting.

"The sign-in option is disabled because of failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns. Use a different sign-in option, or keep your device powered on for at least two hours and then try again."

It is not my browser's job to police me. How do I get rid of this obnoxious crap forever? I Lart of the issue is the NumLock is no longer automatically activated. It always was before.

I also don't care for it's challenge question where I have to enter in A1B2C3. I have a security protocol and don't need more to bog me down!

I'm trying to setup a new laptop and when I try to log in I enter my password, I get my email with my 2 factor code, enter it and then it kicks me back to the password screen saying "Incorrect password" . I've reset the password a few times and still get the same behavior. Am I only allowed to have 1 device logged in at once? I know in the past I was able to have multiple computers logged in.

I have attempted to sign in to MyHealtheVet.gov 3 or 4 times over as many hours. Every instance has encountered the same message "Secure Connection Failed. This is the Verterans Administration website and find it hard to believe their website is not secure. I'm not a computer geek, far from it, hence utilizing this method of contact. When I try to visit hurleyauctions.com all I get is a blank screen. This problem is a recent development as I have been able to go to this website in the past.

Hello, I am using the current version of Firefox on my desktop PC (Windows 11 Home). I am using google as the search engine. I do not have any Mozilla, Google, or any other account information in Firefox. I have Firefox configured to NOT save any personal data. I have Firefox configured to delete ALL history (everything on the list) when I close Firefox.

When I select a link in the browser and it opens a new tab, I am asked for my google password. I don't have a google password to give it. I just close the request. This used to happen off and on "a while back" but stopped. It started again. Today, it has happened every time I open another website. It is driving me nuts.

I searched the web and found many similar complaints for this on the mobile version of Firefox. The suggested solution (disable "Close Private Tabs") does not appear to apply to the desktop version. If it does, I cannot find the setting.

I have tried restarting the browser. It didn't work. I have tried restarting the PC. It didn't work. I even tried turning the lights for my front porch off and back on again. It didn't work either!

Any ideas about what is causing this behavior or what I can do to make it stop?

BTW, I have two PCs in the house. Both are kept current regarding OS and application updates. Both have same OS. The behavior I described only happens on one of them...

I would appreciate any ideas you may have.

When I try to log in to https://accounts.firefox.com/, I get the error "Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again." I've never used synced accounts but would like to start using the feature.

Mein Standard-Browser ist seit ewigen Zeiten Firefox Durch den baldigen Wegfall von Skype wollte ich Jitsi nutzen. Das funktioniert bis auf die Funktion Bildschirm teilen. Hier versagt der Firefox, während alle anderen Bowser es anstandslos machen. Wo ist hier das Problem? Wie lässt es sich lösen? Ist es nur eine Frage der Einstellung von Datenschutz und Sicherheit? Hi, since your last update, I can no longer get into my internet provides email on my Windows 11 laptop. It is now saying it's "Not Secure" which of course it is. How can I make it secure? Jenn
