The x appears in the tab, and when I click on it, the program disappears. I bring it back up and it repeats. Have tried closing the program, restarting the computer, using the Close Tab from the File menu, CTRL-W, yelling at it loudly, but nothing has worked. I cannot update the iOS in this computer. Firefox is up to date. Several programs I need can only run on Firefox , not Safari, so I need it. I now have so many open tabs that I can't find anything. HELP!

I get a daily email from this site and suddenly nothing. I try to resolve the issue and your security settings are unintelligible. I have received emails on a daily basis for over 2 years, and now nothing.

I admit, I don't read about updates so I don't know when Firefox did all these "enhancements"...but I'd love to know how to turn my mouse wheel BACK into a "scroll through the page" only function. I hate it auto opening links, I hate it scrolling through tabs. I suspect it of doing other "helpful" functions...and I can't even find the right words to do a search for this. The only applicable setting I found is "autoscroll"...which is turned off in my preferences...and which the browser STILL does.

All I want is for my wheel to scroll through the page...under my control. No auto-stuff. There's no setting for this in my mouse controls, as far as I've been able to determine, and it didn't used to do this. It must be in a Firefox update. Is this even possible any longer? Or am I, after decades with Firefox, going to have to change browsers? At this point, I've had far too many important operations disrupted and even fouled by this "helpful" change.

Windows updates from Oct 14 have messed up both firefox and an extension (Ironvest). Can't access mozilla account from icon on toolbar (just a revolving blue buffering circle), nor will the extension work. Have uninstalled extension, turned off/on computer, reinstalled, no luck. Discovered the mozilla account won't work after this, so resigned in a couple times, still the same issue. Even uninstalled one of the window updates (performance, not security) and still not luck. I hate windows when they update and upset all my settings.

I am a noob with Firefox jumping over from Chrome. I use tabs a lot and it would be helpful if tabs were synced across browsers. I am really enjoying Mozilla and the performance is great. Thanks. Steve

Hello... currently when I try to open a PDF from the internet, I cannot open it in Firefox. Specifically I have been adding PDF files to a FB page, but cannot open the document when browsing in Firefox. I can open it, when using EDGE.

Hi there, I am trying to get firefox to stop allowing outlook to try and get my fingerprint or face ID as my Macbook Pro 2014 doesn't have these features. I am running macOS Big Sur (as this is the only one that still works decent). The Open Web Autentification Panel pop up says "Touch your secuity key to continue with login.microsoft.com". Thank you for any help you might provide!
